Because You're Mine (MINE #1)

The feelings this book evoked were a little odd, not so much the story itself. I think I was a little put off by the way it starts out, which made it a little difficult to get into. Once I was in, I really enjoyed it, tho!

Difficult read. I couldn’t get past the language. I don’t mind an offensive word here and there but not on every page. Had potential to be a nice romance novel. I don’t normally comment on a free book.

This book was very easy to read. The story moved a little fast and I did feel like I needed to know more at the end....which leaves you waiting for the next book in the series!! Great story and loved the mental pictures of the characters. Cannot wait to read the next book in the series.

K. Langston is well on her way to being a best-selling author! Good work for the first book out of the gates and cannot wait to see more from her!!!

While I really enjoyed this book, it moved just a little too quickly for my taste.. I would recommend it if you're looking for a pretty quick and easy read.. characters are pretty easy to connect with.

In this story you will venture about Love at first sight. Holden falls hard and fast for Madison. Madison has a life of her own in Boston, she is strong minded and when they meet all hell brakes loose, they butt heads, she fights the attraction she feels for him but she's doomed, they can't keep their hands off each other so their sex is hot and steamy! She believes her life is set in Boston, well that's too bad because Holden is set on letting her see they belong together, but there is this skank who is hung on Holden and she tries her best to brake them apart. Is their love strong enough to keep Maddie in Memphis and fight for their love? You will have to read and find out!! Stand alone as their story wraps up in this book. There is a second book but it is about a different couple, Holden's cousin and Madison's best friend who are met in this book... Can not wait for 2nd book, first chapter is found at the end of Because You're Mine and I can't wait to read their story!

Great debut novel by K. Langston!
Mattie is a strong heroine with her life goal planned out, that is until she meets Holden, the hot, sexy cowboy. Then "fate" has a way of changing those plans. I love the banter between Mattie and Holden and the sex scenes were Hot! Plus you get a HEA! I can't wait for Archer and Katie's story! Congrats K. on your first novel!

Madison and Holden have a believable love...quick, but real. I got caught up in this book by the first few pages. It shows great potential for a first time author! She leaves you wanting more and that's what we are going to get. She brings in the characters for the next book beautifully. I think her second book in the series is going to be even better than this first book. This author is one to watch!!

For a debut book, K Langston knocked this one out of the ballpark.
I love books from different points of view, especially when one is the guy.

First off, I love Holden. He is somewhat perfect. Who can resist a hot southern boy that wears his heart on his sleeve? I want one all for myself!

This is a refreshing story of romance and falling in love.

Can't wait for the next book!

This book was completely immature. It was petty much a waste of time as well. I got whiplash from the back and forth roller coaster of Maddie's emotions. No emotion is this book was validated and was pretty much a whole lot of empty words.
