Beyond the Darkness is the third installment in the Darkness Paranormal series by Katie Reus. Just like the other books in the series, readers will enjoy in the romance between the two main characters. As always, I find myself caught up in the secondary characters as well…..lots of ‘oldies’ in this one!! Readers will love the romance that develops between Keelin and Bran. It’s hot, sexy, and full of suspense. Don’t miss this one!

Nothing says love like a golden glow and blue flames.
Sure Bran acts like your typical Alpha at times but he is head over heels for Keelin. Which was fun to watch him figure out how to get what he wants without pulling the Alpha card. Well the Alpha card is played but in a very nice way.
Keelin is determined not to mate with Bran. Even if every part of her wants him. The struggle between these two is get fun. But in the end sometime you just have to roll with the punches and let fate have her way.
Awe, it was great to be back in Ms. Reus’ world of dragons and all things paranormal. I really enjoyed Bran and Keelin’s story. I was hoping for a little more drama surrounding Keelin. But all in all it was another great story from Ms. Reus. And the set up for the next book. Oh boy!! Bo is going to have his hands full.

I am loving these dragons. :-P Katie knows how to make you fall right into the story. I read this one and had to go and reread right away. I was loving it. The first time I read it I had to finish it. The second time was to go back through and actually take a few notes. When I get into a series I like to do this. And this is one series that I will continue to buy and read.
Bran is a determined Alpha. He knows what he wants. So he goes after it.
Keelin has always been sheltered. Her parents and brothers all treated her like a princess. One that was to be protected at all times. Now that she has her freedom she is going to keep it.
Keelin did not want to loose who she was. She is scared that Bran was going to try to take her freedom away when she was just enjoying it. Bran knows Keelin is his mate. He wants her. When Keelin is threatened Bran steps in to protect. He will help her out in any way he can. Nothing will stop him.

I loved everything about Bran and he is one hot alpha male and oh so yummy!! Keelin is a very strong female, sweet and out to help anyone she can. It was so nice to see that both the lead PN characters had some strong insecurities that normal people often do. Both being different then the norm for their dragon species. There was hot sex and great suspense and action. I feel that it could be read as a stand alone book, but more enjoyable read as a series.

Loved loved loved this new one by Katie Reus! The story line sucked me in from the beginning and I couldn't put the book down. The main characters were perfect for each other. Bran Devlin is the typical powerful, protective Alpha that will do anything for his mate, and he has decide Keelin is his. After being forced into a hibernation sleep for years, Keelin isn't ready for a mate. She's a strong, independent woman who doesn't want anyone to try and control her or take away her choices. The struggle between the two is captivating, and when you throw in the unseen force threatening Keelin, this one becomes an action filled story you don't want to miss. I really want to see what happens with Bo in the future, too. Loved the budding romance between him and Nyx.

Keelin has been released from forced hibernation and just wants to experience all life has to give--alone. Bran is her mate and protector and wants to smother her. Although Keelin is drawn to Bran, she is not interested in mating, but not adverse to a little hot, steamy sex with the gorgeous Alpha male.

Naram is determined to find Keelin and destroy her because she has something he needs to have back. Bran has his hands full trying to protect her from Naram and herself. Bran is also on a secret mission to find out what is happening to dragons who have gone missing.

Characters in the book are very well developed and you will bond with them. Storyline is a good read and keeps you turning pages, but I would expect nothing less from a Katie Reus book. If paranormal is your favorite genre as it is mine, you will fall in love with this series. If you don't care for paranormal, Katie has other wonderful books to choose from. Check them out. ( :

Another excellent chapter in Katie's Darkness series. Keelin is awesome, strong willed and living on her own terms. Bran is such a strong alpha but so determined to win her over and boy it's so sexy to read how. The story line is awesome and what I loved was there was a mini story between her half demon boss and her bff who is a secret demi god. You can't help to get swept away in both there stories as they are intertwined!
Omg such a great read, but honestly this whole series is just fantastic! I could not put the book down. And don't even get me started how funny it was when she went home for answers since her parents just woke from their hibernation. Her mom was so funny and get brothers it was so fun to read this book!

I’m absolutely loving this series.

Once again all the characters are great particularly Bran. And again we have a great story. I just can’t get enough.

I really liked that on top of Bran and Keelin’s story we also get the start of Bo and Nyx’s. I was enjoying trying to work out what kind of supernatural Nyx was but I wouldn’t have got there.

Keelin is a dragon shifter who was in a Protective Hibernation for many, many years. When she awakes her parents are still in it and there are many changes. She leaves her her clan and goes to Biloxi. Bran is Alpha Dragon shifter and knows Keelin us his mate but she is against mating. He must convince her that he doesn't want to take her new found independence from her.He goes to her and finds demons and a demigod are after her. Now they must figure out how to get rid of them. Excellent story. Story was a little slow at first but it picked up. So hot it'll burn your reader up. The thing that bothered me a little was going back and forth between present and past.

I have seriously loved every book I have ever read by Katie Reus and this book is absolutely no exception. This is the third book in the series and I loved just as much as the other two, if not more! This story focuses on Bran and Keelin. Keelin is currently enjoying her freedom after being in a forced hibernation for the past few centuries and she isn’t giving up her freedom for anything. Now that Bran has found his intended mate in Keelin, he will do whatever it takes to keep her safe as a presences threatens not only Keelin’s freedom, but her life as well. This book is full of romance and danger while also throwing in humor during intense moments! Overall, I loved this book!

But change is on the way and he won't be stopped as he wants his mate. Bran is an Alpha dragon what will stop at nothing to keep Keelin safe & keep her forever. But there are powers that won't allow that to happen. There are tons of supernatural beings demon, wolves & even some demigods. And her parents have just woken from a long hibernation and she is afraid of what they will say & do but they do surprise her. Can Bran & Keelin fight the evil together and get a happy everafter. They are some great characters all interesting and well just cool. A really great read.

Fantastic, seriously fantastic. Just when I was really in the mood for great dragons, Ms. Reus delivers. I love this series, it's fresh and unique with each book and I enjoyed getting a bigger glimpse at the world of dragons while still touching base with old favorites. I'm looking forward to more from her, she's great at paranormal and really anything she writes.

Keelin, wants freedom, she's not ready for a mate. Watching her realize that Bran is the perfect mate because he truly wants to give her that freedom, and just wants to be part of her life, it was definitely fun watching them dance around each other. Their chemistry is off the charts and I adored it all.

I look forward to a certain bar owner and his happily ever after.

Darkness is back with a vengeance. This is one of those series that when the pre-order pops up, its like yes! Keelin's story is just a great as the previous ones. She is out on her own meeting new people and enjoying life. Her dragon decides that she wants a mate and that's final. The mate that her dragon chooses happens to be out of her league she thinks because of his status and physical being but he says different. Little does she know that while avoiding a persistent male she also has to watch out for the strange that keeps happening. The cast of new friends she meets along with old ones from before is great. Who will we see next? Bo or Conall or Gabriel? I can't wait to find out

Keelin has left home to find some independence, but Bran Devlin follows and starts crowding her. She can't deny the attraction, but wants to take care of herself. When Demons come into the picture there's no way Bran is going to let her out of his site. The more they're together the less Keelin wants to fight mating with Bran.

This is the third book, in this amazing series. I have to say this book hooks you from page one, to all the way to the end. This is a hot sexy paranormal read. I highly recommend, this book this series and this fabulous author. Get it today.

I know this is book #3 in this series, but the author gives you enough backstory within the text that you should be able to read this one without much confusion about the world/former events.

And this is a good story. Keelin has spent her life sheltered to the point that she hasn't been able to live it. Bran is an alpha, but he's not physically perfect any longer, and that has held him back. Both of them have reasons for not getting involved with the other. They don't want a relationship. But that's not the way things usually work with shifters...and that makes this book really good.

I enjoyed this book a lot...just like I've enjoyed the entire series so far. Katie Reus has created a great fantasy world here filled with danger and suspense as well as a great dose of romance.

Keelin was a great mix of innocence and toughness that made her a fantastic heroine. And Bran has been so rejected, it hurts my heart. I love the two of them together. I definitely recommend this book and the entire series. And note...the narration by Jeffrey Kafer is fantastic.

Another masterpiece by Katie Reus..... Love the moments prior to Keelin moving to Biloxi and the aftermath of her attack by her crazy cousin, those few chapters was a delight to read....the way Bran was taking care of Keelin wow the man was already falling far hard for the little spitfire dragin shifter......even though Keelin misunderstood why he was taking care of her, she knew that being close to Bran did things to her. Despite wanting her independence which I respect Keelin Petronilla for, the petite blonde couldn't get a certain Alpha dragon shifter by the name of Bran Devlin out of her system and vice versa.

Keelin found herself in peril and the one man she wished she could get out of her head was the one that puts everything on the line for her....Bran thought that Keelin didn't want to mate with him because of his disability but he couldn't be more wrong, she found him beautiful inspite of his raw and primal looks....All she wanted was her freedom and in the end Bran understood that and decided to be totally honest with her and let her know how much he loved her strength.

The incorporation of the previous main characters was beautifully executed, the reunion between Drake and his parents was an aww moment...Like how they immediately welcomed Victoria into their family with opened arms.

Keelin standing up to her parents and Bran letting his future in-laws know how much he cared and respected Keelin as his equal was a reader's happy moment.....To be able to finally have Keelin's parents accept the fact that their daughter was stronger than they thought and that she found a great mate in Bran.

The dynamic between the parallel couple Bo and Nyx was unexpected and oh boy did the former has it bad for the latter... I didn't see that one coming regarding Nyx being a demigod, no wonder the demons were wary of her.....Nice touch.

Keeling didn't lose her independence after mating with Bran, the moment she let go of her insecurities, all of her walls crumbled down and she followed her heart....Bran and Keelin couldn't be happier.

How can those two traits go together? Usually you have an alpha that's all jerk with a sweet moment sometimes but Katie Reus has managed to create a truly worthy alpha hero. Bran is definitely a possessive alpha but one of the kindest, sweetest guys you'll read about also. Keelin is finally free and she loves her independence. She moves away from family, gets a job and makes friends. Bran follows her to Biloxi to court her but she's not interested. Things heat up as they work together to figure out who wants Keelin and why.

I enjoy reading the shifter series with all the different types. Bran and Keelin are both dragons from different clans and were attracted immediately to one another. Keelin was having nothing to do with this because she wanted some freedom, she was suffocated by her parents for years. Grab this and take this trip with them and the other characters.

I started reading Katie Reus with the last Dragon book which was wonderful, but Bran and Keelin's story is Wonderful, I wish my husband was as good as Bran, men like him are non-existent in our realm. This book is Wonderful and great reading.

I absolutely adored Bran. He’s all alpha yumminess and a freakin dragon-shifter! He knew that Keelin was his mate and was determined to win her heart. Keelin worked my nerves a little bit. The little dragon-shifter was determined to have her independence since her parents smothered her when she was younger. She preached that topic a little too much as I was done with it as much as Bran. When there’s a threat to her life, it becomes obvious how much Bran really cares for her.

Great catching up with the characters from the first couple of books in the series, and excited about Bo and Nyx’s book next.
