Good. Would have been great if the woods scene wasn't so long. I felt like I was there weeks with them. A lil twilighty when the babe was born… but all in all I enjoyed this book.
Thank you D.D. for entertaining me ;-)

I LOVED this series, and I was not disappointed by the conclusion. In fact, it was better than I expected or could hope for. I fell in love with every character in each of the previous books, and this was a wonderful revisit to every one of the love stories and families of the series, while being completely new and exciting. I love all of Dannika Dark's series, and this made me want to re-read all of the Mageri and the Seven series' books.

Thank you for a lovely conclusion. I'm super sad, totally satisfied, and hoping for more.

I love this author and this series of books. Every book was an adventure which pulled you into the story and the family. I am looking forward to starting another series and can't wait to see what else Dannika Dark writes.

I just finished reading One Second and it was awesome! If you like Shifters you'll love the Weston Pack story. I can't believe this was the conclusion to the Weston story but Dannika did an awesome job as usual. Thank you for sharing your talent with us.

Tears, smiles, laugh out loud and heart pumping adrenaline were in abundance in this book. What a fabulous wrap up story for a brilliant series which has been great from book 1 to book 7. Brilliant, can't wait for the spin off books

Another paranormal romance? Yes. Typical? No. Thoroughly enjoyable plot, characters, twists and turns from Seven Years straight through to the last word of One Second. Full of love, romance, suspense, family, feuding, friendship, hate, fear, tears and laughter. Highly recommended series.

A wonderful conclusion to a phenomenal series! I love that the series ended where it began, with Austin and Lexi being the main focus of the book, and with the rest of the pack and the other fantastic characters making an appearance. Although I'm sad that this series has reached it's end, Dannika wraps up the series flawlessly. I will truly miss this group of characters who have weaved their way into my heart.

Gahhhhhhh, what a series! One Second was a perfect ending to such an awesome series. Everything was tied up nicely, no loose endings, and I think that that we might even get a spinoff with the younger bunch. I'd love that so much, I am so not ready to be done with the Weston pack, there is still so much that can be done. The feels had me in a headlock in this book, I'd go from happy, to tearing up, to laughing, to biting my nails, to on the verge of a breakdown, it was a rollercoaster ride for my emotions for sure. The battle throughout the book was pretty epic and definitely had me on edge the entire time. I lost much sleep with this book but every minute was worth it. My only hope is that this is NOT the last we will hear of the Weston pack, they are far too awesome and I need more already.

This book wraps up the series beautifully. There is tension with the pack war and the waiting before it starts. The characters continue to make you want to stay with the book. Read this series from the beginning.

Outstanding finish to a great series. I laughed, I cried, and sat on the edge of my seat with anticipation. I wish other authors would not drag out their series past the time when the readers and authors themselves loose interest.

Enough action and suspense to keep you guessing. Wrapped up lots of loose ends especially with a particular couple of characters.....wont spoil by saying which ones. Overall a great ending to the 7 series..hoping there will be some off shoots to the series as i still want to see what happens to Cole/Church and Prince packs.

“Sometimes ordinary people are destined for extraordinary lives.

This book deserves all the stars! The Seven series has always been one of my favorite series, with each book better than the last. But One Second truly outshines every other book as it is easily the best in the series! I purposely read this slower than normal because I never wanted the story to end. The Weston pack has had a special place in my heart for so long now, and I just never wanted to let their story be officially over. However, it is, but have no doubts that Dannika Dark delivers an excellent, fast-paced story that will leave you on the edge of your seat.

“If you keep thinking ahead, you’ll never appreciate what’s in front of your face. We have more time together; that’s all that counts.”

This novel goes back to the beginning with one of our favorite couples, Lexi and Austin. Told mainly from Lexi's POV, we see a stronger alpha female than the very first time we were introduced to Lexi. Sure, she grew with every book, but I loved being able to read from her perspective again to see just how much she has matured and developed into this amazingly strong woman. Nevertheless, Lexi is still a bit unsure of herself due to events we learned in previous books. Obviously, Lexi was extremely affected by her previous miscarriages, but I really appreciated that despite the fears she had, when Austin said he was all in, Lexi was willing to give pregnancy another shot. Her character has always been very realistic and relatable to me, but I felt that we were reminded of how human Lexi still is. And to me, this isn't a bad thing. Lexi's humanity was one of the aspects of her character that I loved. I also loved how much Lexi stepped it up and was that alpha female in this book. With a war brewing and then coming to fruition, she realized that she needed to find her courage and fight for everything and everyone she holds most dear.

“Family isn’t who you share blood with but who will bleed for you. It’s the people who love you through your tragedies and stick around.”

Another part of this book (and series in general) that I enjoyed is the small moments with the Weston pack outside of all the chaos and war. This is where the beauty of Dannika Dark's writing lies, as she reminds the readers that even though there is craziness (and let's face it, some pretty bad luck) surrounding the Weston pack, they are still a close-knit family that cares about each other. They're incredibly open-minded and as loyal as can be. While reading, you can't help but want to be apart of their pack/family. The entire pack would easily die for each other and respect each other in ways that other packs don't. Most importantly though, regardless of what might have happened in the past, if they need each other, everyone (and I do mean everyone) will come together and unite against the common enemy.

"I used to curse all the bad things that had happened to me in life, thinking they were punishments. I didn't realize that each tragedy and stroke of bad luck was simply a stepping-stone to the life I was meant to live, toward the people I would cherish forever."

A lot of little plot lines that you didn't think had much significance played a major role in this story. I loved that Dannika Dark brought all of these little things back, and didn't just "forget" about them like some authors do. It shows that every aspect of the story is important to her, while also showing how much she cares for her characters and telling their story. This made for some very action-packed and extraordinarily tense scenes, but it was oh so good! I was on the edge of my seat, not knowing what direction the story was going to take, and who would make it out alive. There were many moments where I was left with my mouth hanging open because of the twists and turns that Dannika Dark introduced.

I highly recommend reading this book if you are a fan of the series. The finale certainly won't disappoint, and as soon as you're done reading, you'll want to go back and read the entire series all over again! Thank you Dannika Dark for giving us this amazing series, and I can't wait to see what you write next!

Happy reading :)

This finale was everything this hot, imaginative and memorable series needed to end amazingly, after running full throttle and balls to the wall! This bumped into my top ten all time favorite series and notable characters (and I read hundreds of books per year)
