Gaah! I. LOVED. THIS. BOOK! There's no other way to say it other than to shout it! Sebastian .... where do I begin?! My heart broke for him, every single freaking step of the way. I can't even .... gaaah! When he went up behind Skylar at the reunion ... my heart hurt and I had tears in my eyes! The writer took a very serious subject and did a fan-freaking-tastic, brilliant, amazing job of helping us understand what someone like Sebastian is going through. I loved this book so much I bought it, after having initially read it on Kindle Unlimited.

I loved this book because it tackled a serious issue being OCD. It was serious yet incredibly sexy and hot! Sebastian struggled so much and my heart was breaking every time. Skylar....the significant others of OCD individuals need to be a Skylar. She was such a supportive loving character. Plus the sex scenes were hot so that broke up the seriousness of the storyline. Awesome book.

After reading the third installment of this series in the anthology "Love Happens", I just had to get the first two books! I really enjoyed readings about Skyler and Sebastian. Things are so clear to me now. Melanie Harlow knows how to tell a tale that engulfs the reader. You really care about the characters because they are so real. Faults and all. I happily give this book 5 stars.

I absolutely loved this book... Could not put it down once I started. Skylar was written perfectly. As was Sebastian. But what I loved most about her was the fact she never tried to change Sebastian. She had such an open and honest love for him. Even when it was trying she still didnt want him to be anyone other then himself. That kind of love and acceptance is what made me love this book and her character even more. It is hard enough without his problems and quirks to find a love like that. But she did. Instead of changing him she molded and worked around them. Which I found to be so refreshing. I hate getting into books only to find one or the other wants to be with this person but only if they become the person they want them to be. That isnt love. I would definitely recommend this book. Will for sure be ready many more by Melanie Harlow. You picked up a new book fan and follower with this one. Great job!!

Some sort of Happy is wonderful! I love Sebastian and Skylar together. Sebastian is so beautifully deep and written with such amazing thought. Skylar at first seemed flighty to me but showed her strength and love and passion and completely won me over. Their story is unique and passionate (OMFG passionate) and was truly happy with how their story ended (even though I never wanted to stop reading it!)

I loved this book! How interesting that the male character has OCD. Apart from learning a little from this condition, it was totally fascinating to learn about a man with OCD and his process of falling in love. His struggle to deserve the love of a woman like Skylar was such a sweet and inspiring story. He was very devoted, but very troubled. Skylar felt she was flighty, but she shone as an intuitive and understanding woman. She was the perfect fit for Sebastian and it was such a lovely read to share their path to love.

Sebastian suffers from anxiety and OCD to the level that people think he is a crazy freak. Skylar is down on her luck, forced back home and living with her parents. They both needed a friend but found so much more in each other. Melanie's writing is superb and she found a way to still make me laugh during such a serious story. My heart hurt so much for Sebastian and his struggles that were portrayed so realistically. I also found joy in their journey for love. So many emotions this book that you have to read for yourself. My favorite Melanie Harlow book to date. #nailedIt

This book was so different from your normal romance read. I enjoyed the dynamics of Skylar and Sabastians story. So many people have to deal with OCD, anxiety and depression and I liked seeing it written in a book. A few times it was a little uncomfortable the thoughts Sabastian had but over all I really enjoyed this book.

As a persons who suffers from anxiety This book kinda hit close to home.. Sky comes back home after a terrible stent on a reality tv show to run into a high school friend Sebastian. Sebastian was a little weird in school but once she gets to know him she understand why he is so quirky. And just to add a little flavor he's hot and they have hot sex. Yay. Lol. This is a cute little love story.

It was amazing! The characters were well developed and I fell in love with both of them. My heart broke for Sebastian and how hard he struggled. Personally, I can relate somewhat to him, but the extremes he suffered all his life were beyond anything I've seen or been through. I can only imagine how hard it must have been to grow up being ostracized for his illness. By herself Sky was a great character, but her love for him and acceptance made her unforgettable. The ending was perfect and beautiful.

Skylar is living in her small hometown and trying to live down some mistakes she has made in her life. When she bumps into a handsome man, she learns she went to high school with him and the “it” girl remembers the shy, outsider. When these opposites come together and deal with their pasts, they forge a friendship and personal relationship that will be tested time and again. I loved Skylar and the detail Ms. Harlow went in describing Sebastian made him endearing while breaking your heart for his suffering. 4.5 stars

This was a great book. The alpha male Sebastian suffered from it and it was a struggle every day. He wanted to be better but he felt he did not deserve someone loving him because of hie OCD. Skylar was different and had her own issues but there was something about Sebastian and she wanted it to work between them. We get to see how Sebastian struggles but he wants more with Skylar and he tries because he is tired of being alone. Skylar was good because she understood him and gave him what he needed.

Great emotional love story dealing with OCD (and mental illness in general) and understanding it's effects on not only themselves, but those around them, especially in their intimate lives. Enjoyed the fun, yet complicated characters and getting into their heads finding out what makes them tick. Although there are sex scenes, this doesn't fall into the 'smut' category. The story itself moves along quickly and easily.

Amazing heart wrenching story about the life of someone with OCD. this story puts you right in the middle of both parties and how they are feeling. Shines a lot of perspective on the fact that you can still be happy and get help for something standing in the way of your happiness

I am in absolute love with Sebastian!! When he meets Skyler again after all those years... sparks fly and we the reader get to fall in love with him right before we learn that he's got a "few" issues- and it's that vulnerability that has Sebastian securing a place in our hearts...(and other female anatomy!) Geekdom never felt so goood!!??

Okay, first off...I loved this book! Skylar and Sebastian were beautiful together. My issue lies in the blatant grammatical errors. Another read through would have caught the glaring mistakes. But, please read this book. Even with the mistakes, the bones of the story are great! Recommend!!

This was my first time reading Melanie's work and I must say, I was impressed. I really enjoyed this book! I loved the way she set up the story and pulled me in emotionally. I really felt connected to the characters and what they work thinking and feeling. I actually couldn't put this book down and read it in a day. I recommend it and hope you enjoy it as much as I did. I certainly didn't hesitate to purchase the next two in this series. They are standalone but really should be read in order.

I really loved this story. It actually was so different than the "normal" read with the story of Sebastian and his OCD. I really loved Sebastian and Skyler's relationship. It was so fun, compassionate, emotional, and really sweet.

Congratulations Melanie Harlow on creating a BEAUTIFULLY IMPERFECT character. You gave our SEXY Sebastian a "real life" problem along with an imperfect loving heroine and created a Beautifully breathtaking love story. This is a story that should read by all who live with "real" partners, because whether it be OCD, ADD, Bi-Polar or any disorder.... We ALL want LOVE, and we deserve it! Can't wait for your next book, so write on!!

This book made me all kinds of happy. Sebastian was a deep, complex character that was extremely interesting. Skylar had fallen down and was looking to pick herself back up. These were two really strong characters and I absolutely loved their relationship. And, let's face it, Melanie Harlow knows how to write sex scenes. Phew. 8 stars for SSOH!!

Sebastian & Skylar - absolutely ADORE their story! The author did a wonderful job describing compulsive disorders, and crafting characters that touched my heart. Their story is fun, their banter is fantastic, their struggles are perfectly described and paced while maintaining the overall ... JOY of their story.

I'm looking forward to reading more in this series! : )

I fell for both characters. The fact that Skylar had many things handed to her growing up, but fell on her booty and was ok with that and did great picking herself up made her real. The fact that Sebastian wasn't perfect in the least and has OCD that affects him almost every minute made him real. Loved their story. The visual descriptions of the cabin and winery were breathtaking. Super excited for book 2 of Natalie.

There's something about Melanie Harlow the way she writes connects you to the characters she makes you feel as if it was you. And when you have finished the book stays with you. Sebastian has ocd and skylar is broken and feeling unsuccessful. But the chemistry between the two is electric. And I loved this book. If you want a feel good book full of romance and exciting sex scenes this is the book for you.

I completely relate to this story. However, I don't have OCD; I do suffer from Depression and anxiety, also other disorders. So I know the battlefield of the head and heart, constantly are war with other, especially the backslash it causes. The strength of love and support and dedication Skylar gives Sebastian is awe inspiring and remarkable. A beautifully written book.

Thank you for this heartwrenching and heartwarming story about Sebastian and Skylar and the troubles they had to work through in order to reach a normal. I felt sad that Sebastian had so many hang ups that kept him from trusting, but gratefully he and Skylar finally saw the light at the end of the tunnel.

Mental illness in its many and debilitating forms, needs patience and understanding from family and friends. Considering the category this story is under, I was surprised to see a story of substance along with the romance and the insight into the minds of people struggling with mental illness.

I will recommend this book to everyone who love reading story of a guy who has dark past (not just an billionaire intimidating guy who marry just a waitress, a normal plot) Sebastian is sick, imagine that the main character is sick but at the end he can have a normal life with a beautiful soul Skylar forever.

Incredible story, amazing inspirational couple. Sebastian is beautiful inside and out and Skylar was his perfect strong match. Anxiety is very real and serious and this author described it and OCD in perfection. The word compassion comes to mind after this read. This is one of the greatest books I've ever read. Thank you Melanie for sharing your talent with us.

I loved this book. The writing is skillful and the characters are well developed. There is a funny-sad quality that permeates the whole book, as Sebastian has OCD disorder. This is handled in a way that does not make the book maudlin, but instead sweet and poignant as the two very lovable characters grow closer to a future together.

This story had heart and soul. Not just another chit-chatty book, it explored challenges with humor, honesty and compassion. Both Sebastian and Skylar faced their own shortcomings and embraced a future where change is possible. Melanie Harlow crafted a beautiful story here, and I was drawn in and kept to the last page.

I've never read anything like this with someone who is OCD this bad. My first thought was Sebastian is nuts but the more I got into the story the more I understood. I love how Skylar didn't write him off. Love prevails .
