Ainsley Booth is an adept writer, who brings her characters thoughts and motivations to life in simply fantastic ways. I enjoy being swept away in the plot and emotions of a book. This was terrific. I didn't want it to end!

Great story! Suspense, romance and hot, hot sex! Loved the build up and these guys are totally hot. Enjoyed the story line and am going to read the next in the series as I'm hoping Tag gets his happy ever after. Cole is just sigh worthy and who could resist him? On to the next book!

I fell in love with Hailey and Cole and absolutely loved their story. I am officially an Ainsley Booth fan. I go to download Booty Call and guess what? It's already on my TBR list! Guess what I'm reading next. I'm so excited.

I absolutely love love LOVE this book! I have read it at least six times. It is hot, it is steamy and their connection is awesome. This author uses vivid details, she doesn't use the same lines over and over, so it stays fresh.

I really enjoyed Cole and Hailey. He is hot, even though his job is shady. I like that the heroine doesn't have to know everything about his job. She is not demanding that way. Lots of surprises. Well written.

A scorchingly hot read... Love, love, loved Cole he was very much your big bad Alpha and I couldn't help but love and swoon for him.
Other than that I liked the plot, it was dark and full of suspense.
I can't wait for the rest of the Horus Group boys to get their story - it's gonna get hot i bet ;-)

Holy Love Stories! The whole story was great and fun but I loved part 3... and attachments :).

This story of Hailey and Cole is different and wonderful. New twists are told by this author and the story if fun and adventurous. The ending before the real ending was a bit abrupt and I'm guessing might continue someday with the other three books in this series. Worth the read.

Great story line. I loved the 'love hate relationship' between the two lead characters. there was an interesting plot twist towards the 70% mark of the book. I would love to see a sequel, or standalone book featuring one of the other male characters of this book.

I have never laughed so much while reading a book as I did while reading this one.Thank you so much for the laughs,I hope I see more from the author like this, it made me laugh so hard I was in tearsI highly recommend this book.

I really loved these people. This couple where dirty, cute, funny, did I say dirty. It is a really good story that keeps you intrigued through this whole book. Great writing. I would love to have a big guy like him. Get this while you can at 99¢ it's worth so much more.

Loved it! Who would've thought that these two would get together. Seemingly different but yet fit perfectly together. Cannot wait to read about the others of The Horus Group. I bought this as a complete story. I hope I can do it with the next couple as well.

This was a funny, drama filled ride, that keeps you on your toes.

Never mind the seriously freaking hot cover. And then the title, jeez, someone hose me down and I hadn't even read the blurb yet. Then I did and I knew I was in, all the way.

And boy was every penny worth it.

Cole Parker is a Grade A. Jerk. Just ask Hailey Dashford-Reid, who has to put up with his cold reserve, gruff ways and angry glares but it's merely a front to resist something he can't have and shouldn't want, though Hailey believes he just dislikes her, a lot. However, for Cole, Hailey is the paragon of virtue and what is decent--something he knows he's not and can never be. His desire for her is forbidden for more than just one reason but the harder he tries to resist, the deeper she gets under his skin. As one of four partners of The Horus Group, a firm that does a little bit of everything, from patrolling the dark edges of a dangerous world to body guarding the rich and powerful of Washington, DC, Cole's latest task is helping to keep the various members of the Dashford-Reid clan, an ultra rich and powerful family, from screwing up and their sick deeds from spilling out into the world. But whether it's due to good fortune or bad luck, his focus can't stop roving over Hailey, the daughter that wants to lead a normal life, away from the chaos and messed up world she can't escape.

First of all, Ainsely Booth is a fantastic writer. Her 'voice' is fresh, subtly sexy and masters the male personae that some can only try to mimic. Her rendering of Cole Parker is by far one of the most intriguing and well-written male characters I've come across other than Caleb from the Dark Duet series by CJ Roberts. He's tough yet with just enough softness to all that hardness that I was swooning over left and right. He never got overly sentimental and gooey but was vulnerable when it came to Hailey. His progression from resisting her to being madly in love with her was hot, seductive and fun to read. Hailey was likable, funny, smart and touch in her own ways but for me, Cole steals the show in every way. You'll read it for him.

The overall plot was really intricate and intelligent. Ms. Booth's ability to stretch that out between three parts took a lot of careful restraint and detailed plotting to ensure that each part ended with a specific cliffhanger. The dialogue was witty and the interactions between all the characters was well-executed. Oh, yeah, did I mention the sex scenes? Really steamy, h-o-t, super sexy sex scenes. Day-um. The only flaws were some editing issues, such as there being 2 chapter elevens in Part 3, and missing punctuation throughout. There are two bonus shorts at the end of the book that are cute and sweet as well as hints from the author to the next books in the series.

I have been one of those readers that USED to snub serials but they are the future and when done right, it makes me want to read more of that style of publishing. Ainsley Booth will convince you to go to the dark side like it did me and it will leave you breathless. I am so glad I came across this series and I'm DYING for the next ones to be out already. I usually don't like paying almost $3 for a short story but I think I might just pay whatever she charges because this series is just too good to miss. Seriously--read this series!!!!
