Amazing characters that are fiercely loyal to one another. They are unbreakable which is why you can't help but love them all. Lucas and Andrei are so steaming hot together and wickedly funny...I can't wait to read more about these men and how each find their soul mates

I was expecting a kinda charlie crochetesque read and I wasn't super interested but figured it would help pass a monstrous commute. I was wrong, happily so. This book had its own POV and original characters and dynamics. And the action wasn't forced or nonsensical. And the love story was hot and believable

And riveting. This story is filled with action, suspense and an intriguing involvement of characters that is unbelievably dynamic. I thoroughly enjoyed the interactions and the way the author brought all of them together.

Whew, what a ride. I started this book with little expectations because this is the first book I've read by these authors. I was pleasantly surprised to find I could hardly put it down. I was high on intrigue most of the time. The main character, Lucas, is simply wonderful. I mean who doesn't love a alpha male, with commitment issues. Lol! Lucas Vallois, a handsome self made millionaire, that is always in control of everything and everyone. He has his business and his best friends which are his family. He dates women when it's convenient but prefers men. He doesn't do relationships, ever. Then his life is threatened and everything changes.

At the insistence of his friends, he agrees he needs protection and in walks Andrei, his new bodyguard. Andrei Hadeon, an ex MMA fighter who works for Lucas's friends security company. Tall, dark skinned and very handsome, Andrei, if asked would have said he liked women and was straight until he met the new body he would be guarding. I loved the richness of all the characters in this book. All of them are well developed, but left enough room for more to be revealed later on in the series.

I love the close bond between Lucas and his three friends, Snow, Rowe, and Ian. They were more like brothers than friends. This book was really good from start to finish. I highly recommend it and gave it 4.5 stars.

This was a great romantic suspense story, with the perfect blend of romance, heat and nail biting twists and turns. The characters are complex, intense, scarred, surprising—and they (especially Lucas) put the alpha in alpha male. It was a great start to the series and I can't wait to read the rest.

HOLY MOLY. Lucas and Andrei are amazing. The book was awesome. This story has amazing character development and I really stink at reviews but read this book!! Cannot wait to read the rest in the series!!

I Wonder when, or why, while proofing the text, the editor/ beta reader managed/ignored not to correct the spelling of ' LUCAS' ' ? It was spelled incorrectly for page after page. I do not think that this spelling is a regional affectation. Lucas, Lucas' Lucas's! Seriously! Poor plot, poor character build...simply written to assuage a particular crowd, and weak constructed at that.
