The motorcycle club craze has hit books and I love Sons of Anarchy. The story is very blunt, and there was no attempt to soften the criminality. This is a great thing as in reality, this is how some people live, fall in love, and survive.
What grabs you is how normal everyone seems.

Liam is Vp of Heaven Hills Motorcycle Club.
Denise is a single mother to twins whose recently out of work. Their paths cross causing relationships and feelings to form!

So glad I picked this read up! It's like Sons of Anarchy only in book form! Can't wait to read more on this series!

A nice blend of bikers, crime, & romance with a touch of erotica.

My only real complaint was the head hopping. At times the dialogue appeared to change POV mid paragraph. I found it a little jarring until I became accustomed to the authors writing style.
Destruction (A Dark Romance) (Fragile Ties Series Book 1) :: A Dark Romance (Keep Me Series Book 1) - Keeping Her :: BLAIRE: Blaire Part 1 (The Dark Romance Series) :: A Dark Romance (Disciples Book 4) - Breaking Meredith :: BEAST A Dark Beauty and the Beast Retelling

Totally Blown away I loved every part of the story. It was intense from beginning to end. So much excitement. I actually loved the criminals....scary how I was totally on their side. Fantastic story. Will be reading book two right now!

The story was very good and well written. This was my first time reading this author and I am impressed. The story was easy to read and the characters very likeable. However, I did feel like it was rushed toward the end. But I will be reading more of this series.

I have for some reason or another always liked motorcycles. This book was rated due to the facts that it showed about MC clubs. Not all of them are bad. They do have hearts. The best part was how Lauren was able to tell Liam the truth after all the years gone by and he listened with an open heart.

Laramie Brisco has recently been added to my favourite authors list. I loved this book. It is not often that you get a motorcycle club book that has a strong sense of family. I read this book in one sitting as it had me hooked and I had to know how it was going to end. I would highly recommend this book and author to everyone. I'm eagerly awaiting each new release.

I LOVED this book. From the first moment, I didn't want to out it down. I thoroughly connected with Denise; Hard life for a single mom on her own. Liam was a get character that was strong for the club, but with compassion of man. I have not read a book by this author, but will definitely read the next book. I am hooked!

I finished this book, hoping for a different ending than the one that was there, but at least I finished it. That's why the book gets two stars from me. The book was full of misogyny from the male characters, the main character is essentially kidnapped after being forced to compromise her morals and break the law. She starts out a strong, single mom, and becomes a weak, dependent lackey for her biker boyfriend's gang. The male lead is not a believable character, is a murderer, a drug dealer, and an arms dealer, but this highly-moral female lead falls for him and joins in. He puts her life in danger, and she practically thanks him for it. She has tween twins, and exposes them to a criminal biker gang. There is nothing sweet or romantic in the pillow talk. I just don't find the characters likable at all. Maybe I just like my main characters to be a little more ideal, but I also didn't care for the writing style, unbelievable plot, immature language/behavior, questionable parenting, plot holes, and unresolved questions. Who really hired the rapist? ... I just don't think it's worth picking up the sequels to find out. Oh, on the subject of breaking strong women, there is another strong female character who is also broken by her involvement with this gang. She, too, goes from being a strong, independent woman with a promising career to being "taken in" by the bikers, though under much worse circumstances than the lead. I just hate that even female writers seem to idealize weak, dependent women who need a man to make their lives work. It's great when a significant other becomes your life partner, and you can each draw strength from the other, but there is nothing ideal about one of the participants in a relationship having all of the power/calling all of the shots. I don't know about the other readers, but I want a partner, not a sugar daddy. If you feel differently, your opinion of this book may be the complete opposite of my own.

I really loved this book. It was action packed and sad in parts, but romantic at the same time!

Ahhh Liam (swoon)! I won't post spoilers but I loved loved loved a certain part of the book that involved Denise's kids. The way he was with them was so sweet! Denise is an awesome character, even though she's been through some really tough times in her life, she is really strong and a very devoted mother.

If your interested in romance, action and an awesome biker hunk then this book is a must read!
I'm seriously on the edge of my seat waiting for the next book "out of darkness"! Well done Laramie Briscoe!

I tried really hard to like this book but finally gave up at 65%. Call me old fashion but IMO, a basic characteristic of a "hero" is respect, i.e. don't just sit there and watch you dad use me as a punching bag and don't call me your b_ch...

A very different theme to a romantic novel, good versus evil, with themes of faith and fate. Well written, keeping my attention until the very end. Set up for other stories in the series to follow. Action and mystery, possibly a good book (or series) to make a movie from.

Ok...thats the only thing to describe this story. I am getting into the MC era but this was at best not even close to good for me it was just a story that didnt really keep my interest. But another reader might enjoy it so do try.

What an awesome story. I loved the badboy and the struggling mom. I enjoyed how the author took you on a journey and did such a great job of making you feel what they went through to get to their happiness. Look forward to reading more. Highly recommend.

Good story line if you like motorcycles and motorcycle clubs. VERY strong language, that I felt was not totally necessary. I just hope future readers do not perceive all clubs in this light because after all this is fiction.

I never expected such entertainment out of this book! The subculture of motorcycle gangs has never once interested me, but this story is exceptional. The men are delicious & the romance is hot. I may be reading more of this genre.

Certainly a different type of romance than I've read before but it sure does keep you entertained ,on the edge of you seat, and a new view on the brotherhood of motorcycle groups. In the end, I can honestly say I enjoyed it.

It was a little confusing at times because their was a lot of different point of views, so I spent some time rereading. It was a pretty good book. It was written well and everyone likes a bad boy biker

A good MC read. Strong characters that kept me interested. I'm a huge Kristen Ashley fan and not many can hold theirown against her writing. Laramie Briscoe did, especially if her writing grows in the follow up books.
