Its always fun to see the author take us into new worlds and adventures. I love the fact that the author is skilled enough to tell a great story with action and romance, without having to resort to best being vulgar or profane. I can read these at home or work with no worry . Keep them coming!!

I thoroughly enjoy this series. The author moves the action along well and he keeps adding unexpected curves into the storyline. As usual the repartee and interactions between the characters adds a great dimension to the stories. Can't wait for the next installment. Thank you Jamie.

Jamie McFarlane's story telling evolves and improves with every effort. His characters in this series have become familiar friends as the story unfolds. The pacing of each tale make it difficult to put the book down. Captain Liam and his crew react to life's curveballs in interesting yet familiar fashion as their adventures continue. Authors frequently tire of a story line as time passes and many just switch to a different track. I hope Jamie McFarlane holds this muse for a few more installments. I can promise I will be among the first readers of subsequent efforts. Well done!

The author has developed a fun set of characters that keep the reader up at nite trying to finish the book. I hope the author gets a lot of people trying out the books so he will be inspired to keep the characters moving forward.

This is one of the best books in the series. Unexplored territories just when I was starting to tire of the story line. Impossible predicaments are handled creatively and "believably" within the plot. He's left it open for the next book and I can't wait to read it.

OK, I am not the most sophisticated critic. I either like or dislike a story and I have been enjoying the heck out of the Privateer Tales for a year or so and couldn't put Blockade Runner down, I picked it up on the 2nd of January and finished on the morning of the 4th.

This is a great series!! Jamie McFarlane does it again in this book.. live his writing style.. he keeps the action going but also gives good in depth explanations of the technology and philosophy of the galaxy's and characters he's developed in his books without going overboard and making it boring or confusing like some authors do lol... if you love good realistic characters and a good sifi story this is a must read book and series!!!

Jamie McFarlane writes great science fiction with humor and style. His Privateer tales never get old or worn, even though there are now 11 of them along with a bunch of side and back stories. Characters are interesting, dialog is crisp and the first person narrative moves the plot right along.
This story, about our intrepid crew's discovery of an over-bureacritized Confederation of Planets, and a lost human colony living on a wild west type planet takes the ongoing battle with the Kroerak to a new level. It really spices things up, so to speak, when a new secret weapon is found.
Its a romp and a quest and a coming of age for two teenagers all wrapped up in one. Read this book. Read the series. Oh, and read read Jamie's paranormal fantasy series too. All good, fun reads.

I like this series, but I liked it better in the beginning, when it was a person among their life happen, rather than the "You are the only person who can save the human race, nay the galaxy from this evil menace" style it's grown into.

Another great book in the Privateer Tails saga. This series brings me back to the days of my youth reading the Heinlein juveniles. Is this series targeted at teens... not at all! Both my wife and I enjoy the series an we each have five decades under our belts.

This continuing story about the Loose Nuts Corporation is one of adventure and combat. They cannot help getting into trouble almost everywhere they turn. The fun is the way they get past the trouble and turn it into an advancement. Great reading.

Eat your chilly spicy people, it may just save your life. I hope there's another one coming. They just found a home and I hope they get to explore it. Plus, there is something wrong with one of the new alien species they've met. Could they be responsible for the bugs attacks? Need more!

One remains convinced that the series is worthy to stick with. Although slow in spots, Liam and his crew continue to carry my interest. Only next book will truly tell whether the series should go on or rest on its laurels.

I deeply enjoyed reading the adventures of Loose Nuts Inc. Tabby, Liam, Nick, Ada, Marny and others work to do the right thing and I was rooting for them the whole time. Great fun to explore a new Galaxy with them as well. Looking forward to the next book.

While many series trail off and lose focus after the first book or two, Jamie McFarlane is expanding his characters and world to keep the stories improving book after book. These are fun, energetic jaunts across a down to earth (or mars) future that is still plausible sci-fi.
