This book brings you in from the very first page. You always are wondering who is behind all this and it doesn't make sense til the very end. I couldn't put it down. It was extremely interesting and engaging. A good quick read. Will read another book by this author for sure.

This book is gripping from the first line till the end. Ali finds that her life is turned upside down after one night out on the town. She goes to the bathroom only to discover that who is looking back at her from the mirror is not who it should be. When Ali's brother Ben gets her to the hospital she learns that she now has facial blindness. Every time she looks at someone their appearance changes never looking the same. Ali is going mad thinking she has done something horrible because she can't remember anything from her blind date. She starts retracing her foot steps over the next week and a half and learns things about people she thought she knew and loved. Only to find out they are not who she thought they were and neither is she. This is a gripping book that will keep you on the edge of your seat waiting to see what could possibly happen next.

The story was interesting and the personalities involved with the story were interesting. I would love it if a sequel came out so we could have her story after meeting her father and how it was going to be with her husband. Was it Ben?☺
Absolutely gripping crime fiction with unputdownable mystery and suspense (Detective Josie Quinn Book 3) :: Crime Thriller (McRyan Mystery Thriller Series Book) (McRyan Mystery Series) :: The Three Deaths of Magdalene Lynton (Detective Ngaire Blakes Book 1) :: Stone Fox (Harper Trophy Book) :: What Have You Done

I almost stopped reading after the the first couple of chapters. It didn't seem to be my kind of book because it seemed to be too much sex. Soon it became apparent there is much more to this story than what may or may not have happened on a first date. A mystery with many sub plots ! Couldn't put it down !

Ali is having a birthday, but things are tight in their house. Dad has lost his job, but he tells Ali he will get her anything she wants for her birthday. She writes out a list, including an ipod. Mom and Dad have been discussing something all morning in hushed angry tone, but not loud enough for Ali to know why.
The guest show up, dad has an errand but when he comes home he has no presents and the police are on his tail. Her father along with 2 other men have tried to hold up the post office and a woman was killed. Although her father was not the shooter, he got a long prison term. Allie's mom eventually has to move and changes all their names for a fresh start.
Then she gets ill, so their Aunt moves in and eventually mom passes away.
Now Allie lives with her friend Chrissy, having recently split from her husband. Chrissy talks her into a blind date. The next morning she wakes with a bleeding head, and no recollection of the events of the previous evening, she can't even recognize her own face in the mirror. The head injury has caused a rare disorder and she can no long identify people by their features.
Chrissy unfriends her on fb and never comes home, she has no idea why.

OMG this was such a thriller. The twist and turns of this story had my head spinning. I was locked in from the first page. A great story , imaginative, sad, and horrifying to a large degree. If you love a good mystery you won't be disappointed here.

A little too unbelievable. Horrible things are happening to this person and she won’t go to police. BUT, I needed to finish the book to see how it ended and that alone makes it a good book for me.

WOW WOW WOW , can Louise Jensen keep up with her writing style? So far I have read everyone of her books, they are just great. This one starts out with , what happened to Ali ? You could had to read this book to find out. Every chapter kept you wanting more. Don't want to name names, the end just puts the cherry on the cake. How can you not enjoy her books , they are so good.
