I don't typically read shifter stories, but this new series may have changed that preference. Clever dialogue and an intriguing story line kept me drawn into the story and characters. The Stanton family is a an established (read rich) and distinguished family of shifters. They are well known for their money and power (but the fact they're shifters is secret). When Gavin Stanton encounters Lilah Murphy she's everything he's never wanted, and yet his visceral reaction to her clearly means he must meet her again. The twists and turns this story follows provide action, sexy rendezvous and amazing legends to decider. Following Lilah as she discovers a world she never suspected existed is fascinating. Learning about this alternate culture as Gavin unveils it is magical. Truly well written, plotted and paced I found this first book in the series satisfying while leaving me eager for the subsequent installments as soon as possible. Great family dynamics and strong characters make this a gripping tale. This is a fantasy so you have to be willing to let your imagination soar and absorb the magic that is legend - but it's a great escape from reality.

I loved this book. It was fast paced, the characters were great. It kept me on the edge of my seat, holding my breath to find out what was going to happen. As soon as I finished this book I got the rest of the series.

Second of five siblings, he went his own way in life and left the main family business, but kept the British accent, oh and the family. After weeks of dreaming about a woman he's never met, and driving the Boston streets trying to find the one, he finally finds her in the drug infested back streets.
Lilah Murphy, a curvy blonde, is trying to make ends meet not only for herself, but her sister and her mom. But she isn't having the best of luck. She just lost her temp job and wonders how she is going to move forward. An accident of puppy proportions puts her in Gavin's path. She's been dreaming about him too. But it isn't just dreams. It's all about the Beat. The. Beat. The thump, the drive, the ever present driving Beat the drove them together. She's stunned when he's taken away from her street in a made dash of squealing limo tires. That's the end of it, or so she thought.
No. She sees him days later at her new job at the Platinum Club. A high roller's bar. No bills. No checks. No credit cards. No tipping. The annual fee, too many zeros to count. While working on a planned retreat that the club was performing for Gavin's company, something happens to Lilah that makes Gavin snap, and he looses control over his beast. Will Gavin and Lilah be able to over come his secrets, his family? And is there more going on that they don't know?
This book while long, is a very fast read. You get sucked into the characters and want to know more about them and how they will get passed everything thrown at them. Gavin and Lilah were well written. I cannot wait to see what happens with the remaining Stanton siblings.

Erotic.... Exciting..... Primal...... all words that can be used to describe this book and hopefully also this series. Moving on in a world that is ever changing but always staying the same, the legends behind their ancestry and the magic that makes them what and who they are-- Fated mates was just a myth..... Or are they? I really liked the growth of the story, that it wasn't an instantaneous "hello, we're married" kind of situation-- the story takes time for the hero and heroine to really work through the obstacles-- to what end and how things happen and play out, that is for you to see on your own! I have to say, I am very much looking forward to reading the rest of the series!!

I actually purchased this book on another platform, but I wanted to post my review here as well as there. So, I bought this book more than a year ago & just picked it up. Now I regret that I took so long to read it, 'cause it was FANTASTIC! Enough twists on the shifter legends to make it different than the majority of the shifter books out there, the real value was in the strength of the story and the depth of the characters. Hero, heroine, supporting characters....all were complex and real with an emotional depth that made the story even richer. Now, I'm going to have to read all the the rest of the books immediately!

Really good wolf shifter story with its own take on "The One". They call it "The Beat" as when you meet your fated mate your hearts beat in time with each other!! Lots of hot sex, action and the usual ups and downs between a shifter and a human mate. Gavin is a billionaire wolf shifter, Lilah, his "Beat". Though things aren't quite what they seem for either of them !! I recommend this book to anyone lover of paranormal romance, and I can't wait to read Lilah and Gavib's siblings story in the next book. 5☆'s . Having read many books by Julia Kent, I was excited to hear about this new series delving into the world of Paranormal Romance with shifters.

The Billionaire Shifter's Curvy Match is a great introduction to the Billionaire Shifters Club series.
The book introduces us to Lilah Murphy, a broke and desperate female, who was relatable, and Gavin Stanton, a billionaire CEO with a secret.

Admittedly, it did take me a little while to get into the swing of the book, as I was expecting more comedy like previous books, but once the story had taken off, it had me gripped.

The story of Gavin and Lilah was of forbidden yearning, fiery encounters and a secret so big, that it threatened their very happiness. The passion between the main characters was palpable and addictive. The 'beat' that connected them was strong and a new and intriguing take on the shifter world.

I enjoyed the introduction to the Stanton brothers, and sense the Gavin and Lilah will appear in the rest of the series.

Overall, a whirlwind romance with fire and ice. Characters who intrigued, annoyed and entertained.

This was my first shifter romance and I loved it! I had no idea that a shifter romance could be so hot!

I absolutely loved getting to know the characters and often felt like I was right there experiencing everything. I loved the way Lilah & Gavin discover each other, it perfectly set the tone for the rest of the book. This book was so much fun to read and had so much suspense and hot sexy time that I couldn't put it down.

If you've never read a shifter romance, then you should totally start with this one...plus there are 2 more books in this series.

I started off liking it ,but the characters were just all over the place.... Both seemed to run hot and cold,gotta have you one minute,can't get away fast the next.... WTH ?!?! One minute Gavin is out looking for his "One/soul mate/fated mate" and the next after seeing her and shifting decides maybe it's better to stay away... After an uncontrolled shift,but after seeing her in his club,it's all "GAVINS GOTTA HAVE IT!!! " and he does w/her in the wine cellar but the runs off for 3 weeks scared,yet again!! Come back more sex and gets her to go to the family "compound" in Montana,as a guest ? Noooo as a server for a week long,party/business conference... WTF RIGHT ?!? Serving drinks etc. most the night and day then sex where he commands her like some faux Dom. and still runs hot and cold leading think he wants me, wants me not, ( ok, sure he's afraid on how to tell her what he is) but his hot and cold act is annoying for me the reader much less Lilah the h... Then one night after being ignored and avoided for two days she's attacked by some self entitled rich loser lush Gavin loses his shite and shifts and tries to kill the guy,she then runs off home saying she's not bothered by the shifting its him lying about it that bothers her. WTF ?!?! Fear,being scared but stopping to ask questions I could get,but his lie of omission over it ?!?!? I call BS!!! I mean they'd barely know each other anytime at all especially is take out the 3 weeks he'd ran from her like a coward,they'd bare known each other any time at all and during that time all they'd done to get to know each other was have sex, I mean come on!!! You can't tell just anyone about being like a shifter or Vamp. Or witch or Fae. Etc.... Then she suddenly forgives ,something unforeseen happens,Gavin chooses her over family is he has to and just things might start to be explained, it's over... And I'm left once again thinks big WTF ?!?!? Sorry for any spoilers but this story made me nuts! I've read soo many fated mate stories w/shifters,Vamp.s,Fae,Witches even Aliens etc, and this is far f a r not the worst I DID NOT enjoy myself... Gavin did act like he could him his rear end w/both hands a da detailed map at times, commanding alpha type during sex ( of course) ( bend here,stand there,take this off,but this on,stick you .....) and the rest the time snarling and growling one sec,running scared like a coward or hiding in bed like spoiled depressed child the next and Lilah the stubborn was only slightly better.... Stop born to the point of stupidly one second, getting damp panties and doing as to,d the next... Not sure what bothered me more all their hot and cold BS or just as their finally seeming to get a clue and maybe understand this new reveal it just ends the next but I'm only giving it 3 and the 2 I really want because I know this isn't easy and I can see how much effort went into into it...
Though book 2 seems cliche from the get go,his brother Derry the man whore and her sister Jess the uninterested virgin...
Yeah virgin and the man whore thing soo Not my trope... Reverse it to virgin guy and the experienced girl and maybe ;) but as is is just way too been there she hasn't done that ....

Wolves, and bears, and cougars, oh my... Turn up the air conditioning 'cause it's hot hot hot in here! This is a fascinating start to a whole new world I badly want to read more about. There's lots of detail to keep you immersed in their world and even the secondary characters have complex personalities. I haven't seen shifters handled in quite this way before and I love it. Ancient legend meets modern science and creates an exotic marriage where anything can happen, even the perfect mating of shifter and human. The chemistry between Lilah and Gavin is explosive, the sparks fly from their very first meeting. I'm hoping this world is the start of a much larger series because I'd love to see full stories for most of the supporting cast as well. (I will eagerly devour every one of them.)

Its a new and exciting series that I can't wait to read more about. Gavins siblings are a rather interesting group.

Loved this book! Lilah is struggling in life living in a crappy apartment with his sister just trying to get by. She then gets the opportunity for an amazing job where she sees the mysterious man from the Limo. Gavin was a goner from the moment he sees her and knows she is his. They try to fight their attraction but can't and they have some hot and steamy encounters. But can she get past his secret? Read and find out! I was given an arc for my honest opinion of this book and lemme tell you it's amazing!

The writing duo known as Diana Seere has definitely smacked the ball clean out of the park with Book 1 of the Billionaire Shifters Club. This book reaches out and grabs you by the throat and doesn't let go until the HEA is realized.

I read a lot of shifter romances; trust me when I say that this shifter romance is unlike any I've read before. With this book, you have a fully-developed storyline with very believable characters. I really liked that the author gave the reader a better definition of the shifter legend of being mated or finding "the one" we've all heard so much about.

There was a depth to these characters that had been missing in some of the prior shifter stories I've read.

Diana Seere's debut story is great! There's something magical about bringing people together who are destined to be. Two strangers who have an undeniable connection that can't be destroyed, no matter the situation. Gavin Stanton and Lilah Murphy, are an unlikely pair, until fate intervenes. These two are so explosive together they were burning up my kindle. The chemistry Diana Seere gives these characters was phenomenal. I can't wait to see what she has in store for the other characters.

I enjoyed meeting the first members of this powerful shifter family. I feel the writer developed the love story beautifully. I cared about characters and the outcome of their happiness. It’s always good writing when you hold the characters in your heart and root for them. Well done!

Between the beat and the mine mine and her/him's there is a great deal to gain from the history of the Stanton family. I can see that this book is probably the basis for the ones to come so we learn about how/when answers while seeing the struggle Lila and Gavin go through. Plus just enough to keep us wondering what is next to come.

Looking forward to reading more on this family and their own love story.

The Beat is a new one.

Insecurities, legend, ignorance and rules keep Lilah and Gavin in a whiplash relationship.

And the siblings don't make things any easier.

I really liked the Lilah and Gavin individually. They are both strong characters and both family oriented. It is a case of insta- love/lust, which can be frustrating for some readers, but I was enjoying the ride so it didn't bother me. I also liked the secondary characters and am looking forward to their books.

After I finished the book and reflected on it, I realized there was a lot of questions left open. <spoiler> At th end I still didn't really understand why the Beat/One was considered a myth and what was different about Lilah. Also, she seemed to have some clairvoyance, but that wasn't really delved into either. </spoiler> and it didn't seem to fit her character that she would be hearing his voice in her head and not even question that.

Overall, I enjoyed the story and am looking forward to Derry's story next, and I hope There is more explanation of the paranormal parts aspects.

What a very fresh and new shifter type story. Somewhat chance meeting and the two are instantly attracted. She’s human but keeps hearing a voice in her head saying him. He’s always heard rumors about “The One” but never truly believed until he met her. The author does a great job telling the story in a very poetic way. I love all the twist that happen in getting them together. Well written and very entertaining to read.

This is a very different shifter story. I mean, really different. The whole feel breaks from anything traditionally shifter and is told with an ancient voice that sounds as if it's whispered into the the very minds of the characters. This is no sweet insta-love story of fated mates. From the start, I was drawn into a group, a culture, centuries old shrouded in mystery.

These 5 siblings are part of an ancient family steeped in secrecy.This book is Gavin and Lilah's story. They are drawn to each other by a phenomenon from deep in the past known as The Beat. Unlike modern day shifters who each have a fated mate, this is something so rare it's almost the stuff of legend.

There are so many mysteries presented here. Instead of never wanting this book to end, I just wanted to read as quickly as I could to see them solved. And yet, they aren't all solved. How am I supposed to wait for the next in the series? This is not left with a cliffhanger, but I can see that each book will build a clearer picture of this world.

The distinctive secondary characters are introduced in such a way that from the time I first met each of them, I already wanted their whole story. Gavin and Lilah have made an intriguing beginning! There is also enough drama to say their happily ever after was not all a smooth ride. You will enjoy them as a couple and as the series continues, I think we will see them among the Stanton family in future books. Looking forward to Derry and Jess meeting.

I don't read shifter romances often but every now and then, there is one that catches my attention. Well, this first book by Diana Seere was one of those, I was quite excited when I got my hands on it. The truth is, expected it to be funnier but in any case it didn't disappoint. It was interesting, definitely hot and a fast read. I quite liked the characters and I was rooting for them the whole time :)

Gavin and Lilah are quite an interesting couple. coming from two completely different worlds, it is difficult to fathom that they can have anything in common, that their attraction and feelings are something more than a passing fancy. In truth, no one really believes it, even they themselves. But with every second spent together, things change. And where once there was only attraction, in matter of simple weeks and months, it grows to love. A love that spreads like wild fire.

I have to say that I really love Gavin. He is definitely Alpha and dominant, even if he is not the oldest brother in the family. He is incredibly HOT, smart, ambitious and he built and empire of his own, which is definitely something to be admired. And when you look into those baby blues I can only imagine how easy it is to lose your train of thought. I mean, especially the way I envisioned him during the whole book (check out the picture on the right), he is definitely someone I would love to spend some time naked, wherever he decides it's best - in the forest, his limo, the club, the wine cellar. He just needs to give me that smile and look at me with those enchanting eyes, and I am all his :D

The only thing that I didn't specifically like in the book, was towards the end. I was left somewhat confused by it and not very clear on what exactly happened. I hope it will be cleared in one of the next books. In any case I can't wait to pick up the next one in the series. I am pretty sure it will be quite interesting :)

Wow -- I had all but sworn off shifter books forever (because it seems to me that writers confuse "alpha" with "total jerkwad") when suddenly one of my favorite rom-com authors co-writes a new shifter series. I had my doubts but I really like this writer a lot, so I gave it a chance, and boy am I glad I did!

This is the story of Lilah, a broke 20-something with a huge stack of bills doing her best to make ends meet. She's offered a very mysterious job waitressing at an exclusive secret club and even though it sounds a bit sketchy, the money is too good and she's too broke to turn it down. After a chance meeting in her neighborhood with handsome, wealthy Gavin -- who, it turns out, belongs to this very club -- they're attracted together by forces so powerful they can't even understand what's happening to them. But Gavin has a secret Lilah may not be able to live with, and Lilah can't afford to screw up this job by having a relationship with a club member against company rules.

As I hinted above, I've been avoiding the shifter genre because the whole alpha thing just turns me off. Yes I like (love, really) a guy who can take charge, but so many shifter heroes are just rude and domineering and refuse to take no for an answer. They often make me go, "you're not the boss of her! No means no, dummy!" Etc. This book, I thought, walked that fine line fabulously. Gavin was for sure a strong character accustomed to getting his way, but he treated Lilah with respect, like she was her own person -- one who might tell him "no" and he'd honor her wishes. Lilah, for her part, was a great character. Yes she was really struggling to keep afloat, but she didn't need a man to come along and rescue her; she was holding it together on her own.

I guess the other thing to know about this book is that there is a metric boatload of sex. Sex early and often. Sex sex sex. Now, I am not complaining! But it's not everyone's jam, so, be forewarned.

Recommended for just about any type of paranormal/romance fan.

Gavin Stanton is a billionaire in his own right as well as his families wealth that was accumulated over the centuries through his grandfather and father and he and his three brothers as well as one sister twin to the third brother they live part time in Boston and have a ranch in Montana where they can roam freely they made sure that their private lives are kept quite as possible all these years until Gavin started having dreams about a woman The One. The legend says that the wolf will not be in control of his body until he had mated with his fated mate, when Gavin saw her the night that his driver almost hit a mutt in the lower part of Boston where most people have not seen a limo around very often but Lilah Murphy comes running out of her apartment and he realizes that he has found his mate and for some unknown reason when she sees him she wants to be with him in a way she has never wanted to be with any other man. She doesn't understand it but she cannot stop herself from wanting him. She has just gotten a job at one of the most classy and expensive clubs in Boston and she doesn't want to lose her job but Gavin can't stay away from her nor she him. It may be a hard time for Lilah and Gavin because he is keeping a secret that could destroy their relationship and his whole families life. This a beautiful romantic suspense. This was an excellent foray into shifter romance by this pair of authors. I was held captive until the very last page. There was no way I could put my Kindle down until I finished Gavin and Lilah's story. I loved the characters, family expectations and drama, and the fierceness of Gavin and Lilah's connection and love for one another. I enjoyed the pull of "the Beat" and how insanely hot the sex was. Gavin's complete loss of control both mentally and physically seemed to elevate each time he was in Lilah's presence. And her reaction to him was just as strong and uncontrollable. It was only a matter of time before his true nature would be revealed. But how was he going to explain it or what was happening between them? And would she accept him for who he was?

The heart wrenching moment when his wolf was revealed and the pain they both felt during their separation was so palpable. I longed for the moment they found each other again, and it was beautiful! I liked how the family dynamics played into the ending and Asher's anger and complete denial of what was happening. It's going to be interesting to see how Asher responds to this new knowledge in the future. I'm looking forward to the rest of the books!

The Billionaire Shifter's Curvy Match is a book boyfriend fantasy. This book is full of steamy, fan yourself, seriously, or eat chocolate when you read the erotic, sexy scenes in these books. Lila starts out like any normal woman who is seriously struggling as many of the people in the world. She is trying to help her mother and her sister; her only family . Then all of a sudden she gets a dream job where she is dressed up beautifully every day but sworn to secrecy because she is a server at the very exclusive Platinum Club. Her first day she runs into, Biotech billionaire, Gavin Stanton. Gavin feels an instant beat and Lila instantly starts to feel something too. They are fated but what does that mean? Will she lose her job over this instant attraction or secret meetings? Lila and Gavin go through such a whirlwind of a romance but will they have a HEA? Gavin's Family secret could get out by him being with a human. Lila can't even share her excitement being with Gavin or the job with her sister. You simply have to read this book and meet them all! This book caught my attention right away all the way to the end. I loved all the secret moments they had and the information they uncover together about themselves. All the characters in this book come to life and I really did either loved them or hated them. I'm ready for the next book The Billionaire Shifter's Virgin.

OMG! This book caught my attention from the get go and dragged me right along to the end. In fact, I got a little impatient and speed read to the end and then reread the book again it was that good! Gavin, a billionaire wolf shifter was looking for the "one". The "one" who was only for him. She saw him and felt this uncontrollable urge to be with him. He found her in an unexpected place and with one glimpse of her and a few words heard out of her mouth, his wolf was out of control. He had to have her! Lilah, was tired of her life, of trying to make ends meet, pay her bills and get on top of her debt. Out of the blue she was given a job where she met Gavin and recognised him as the one she wanted to be with but she couldn't work out why? He is forbidden to be with her and to give her up! Would Gavin bow down to the pressure to give up the "one" who was destined just for him or would he fight for her and what they can have together?
I really, really loved this book and can't wait for the next book in the series to come out. A definite must read for lovers of shifters. I received this book in advance for an honest review.

The Billionaire Shifter's Curvy Match is an amazing shifter book. It has a different twist since it incorporates the possibility of magical things happening once you meet THE ONE!!! I am not into spoilers so I will only say that is was intense, fast and that I truly enjoyed reading this book!!!! I read it in less that 24 hours, putting aside everything possible in order to get to the end of the story. The plot is page turning and the characters, both Gavin and Lilah are out of this world!!!. They have strong personalities and they get caught in a whirlwind affair with incredible sexual tension!!!! The book was just right, not too long, right to the point and I truly can't wait to have the next one.
And there will be a next one. Asher, Gavin, Derry & Sophia (twins) and Edward make up the Stanton brood and we are introduced to all the Stanton siblings while we enjoy the mating of Gavin and Lilah. Truly can’t wait to get my hands on the next books that will offer the stories of each one of these siblings!!! Must read!

The Billionaire Shifter's Curvy Match is the first book in the Billionaire Shifters Club series. The book blurb adequately summarizes the plot, so I won’t rehash that. I will simply say that for a book with so much explicit sex, the authors did a fine job developing both the lead and secondary characters, and I genuinely liked most of the characters. I also appreciated their humor.

I didn’t notice any significant editing or formatting problems. My only complaint is that I wish there was a little less sex and a little more plot. The plot felt a bit thin to me, and also quite predictable. We’re teased with hints of magic, myths, and legends that could lead to a much more intriguing plot, but the mystery that’s suggested toward the end of the story isn’t developed, at least not in this book. Perhaps it will be developed in a subsequent book.

I enjoyed this steamy paranormal romance, and I look forward to reading the rest of the series.
