Saiya does her best to help out her friends, but when someone is kidnapped, she will do everything she can to help save them. However, when a spying mission goes wrong and a Dark Elf discovers her things go from bad to worse, and she must figure it out before it is too late.

This book was really interesting. I enjoyed the heroine a whole lot. She was brave, fierce, and extremely awesome. Add in a pretty awesome hero to the mix, and you've got a great Urban Fantasy. I really thought this book was good, and I wouldn't mind reading more about these characters.

Saiya was such an amazing character - she never backed down from what needed to be done and was aware of her own faults. I thoroughly enjoyed this book and wouldn't be sad if it turned into a series of some sort :).

I really enjoy this author. Her books have great dialogue for the most part and hit great moments of “right or wrong” type situations. I love reading them!! Perfect feel good story with a bit more to chew on:)

I eas not familiar with the author when I came across her book and will be seeking out more of her work. The character development was solid, and I appreciated that it gave even minor characters some depth. There was just the right amount of action, intrigue, and romance. In fact, I wouldn't mind revisiitng this world and it's characters.

This was a perfect Saturday afternoon book. I really enjoyed the heroine’s spirit, her sense of loyalty and code of honor. The hunky dark elf was the perfect foil for her as she tried to save the day.

Don't waste your time on this book. I usually love Helen Harper but not this time. She doesn't develop the characters. There's very little description to be able to imagine the scenery or the people. I never feel a chemistry between anyone. Nobody was compelling. It was just a thoroughly incomplete story.

After falling in love with the slouch witch series, I've been eagerly waiting for more books. She does not disappoint.

The book description says it's a stand-alone, but I'd be thrilled to read more from this goblin filled world.
