Richard Scarry's Cars and Trucks from A to Z (A Chunky Book(R))

Cute, small book for toddlers! We got this book for our one and a half year olds. They liked it. If you don't mind a small book this is great. Probably a good little thing to take in the stroller or car. Richard Scarry is pretty classic at this point and the illustrations are cute.

This teeny tiny board book was the perfect size for my two year old grandson who is obsessed with cars. His favorite book is the full sized Cars and Trucks and Things That Go. This little book was "just right" for his little hands.

Very cute book!!! I was expecting the pictures to be extremely tiny like some reviews complained about but that's not the case at all. I think all pictures are perfect for this little book! Happy with my purchase!

Of the eight toddler books I recently ordered from the store, this one impressed me and my smaller reader the most. Be aware that it's the size of a silver dollar, which makes it appealing to a one-year-old. It's also a durable cardboard book, yet it manages to squeeze in all 24 letters with accompanying pictures. One page was hopelessly compressed, and of course there's no word starting with "x" that won't introduce the child to the perversities of the English spelling system. Still, the child stands a chance of learning well over half of the letters--providing this nano-sized item doesn't manage to get lost in a day or two (the reason for deducting a star).

My 2 year old absolutely love this book. He totally gets the humor of corn cars and pickle cars. Small, sturdy, just right for little hands. My son wishes the book had wheels itself and zooms it around as if it did. Our copy has the letters H and I, along with all the other letters of the alphabet, so I don't quite understand what the other reviewer was complaining about.

Cars and trucks in alphabetical order!!! Who could ask for more?? To top it all off the characters are all Richard Scarry's beloved animals. This is a thick book for young children. My children loved Richard Scarry, so now it's time to pass the memories on down to their children..

Small size makes this great for travel. Fun pictures that go a long with the whimsical nature of the book. The A to Z format really lends itself to ad libbing so I often will make up other cars to keep things fresh. My young son loves it and I'm definitely not yet bored of reading it to him.
