I received this novel in the time expected and am looking forward to reading it along with the other Jodi Picoult novels I have purchased. I am intrigued by Jodi's voice and the way she presents her characters. Every one of them becomes a friend or acquaintance. Her scenes and storylines are delicious. I savor every word and nuance long after I've read the book. To say I am a fan is putting it mildly.

I'm so glad my sister introduced me to Jodi and I now recommend her work to everyone.

I appreciate this opportunity to acknowledge my enthusiasm for this extremely talented author.

I've read every book Jodi has written, and always found myself completely engulfed in the multiple story lines and intricate characters. "Second Glance", however, I could not get into. I've restarted it about three times, and can never seem to progress. If and when I do finish, I'll update my review.

While clever and creative, this book is clearly not up to Picoult's usual standards. The subject of early eugenics research in the US deserves better attention than a "ghost story" full of hokey situations and events. Disappointing read.

I have every one of Jodi Picoult's books. However, I'm wondering if any author has proof readers for their books. I'm no college graduate and I would never believe myself to be a smart person, however if I had been the proof reader of her books, James Patterson books, the grammar and such found in nearly every chapter is a bit disturbing and I wonder if the authors themselves are even aware of them. With this book I highlighted each error I found. With that said one can see how Jodi Picoult books are on the best seller list. She's able to draw you in to the story as if you are on the outside looking in and experiencing the characters lives. This would have received a rating of 5 if it weren't for the errors.

This book has ghosts, romance, character growth, and family bonds. I'd definitely recommend it for light reading. It was an interesting idea but I found the main premise that the main character can't die a little unbelievable. I was also disappointed that I could see where the story was going in places. On the plus side, it did keep me up at night and spooked me out a little bit. Overall, an entertaining story, not necessarily amazing literature.

I liked Jodi's earlier books better. There were time I found this novel hard to follow. Although, I enjoyed this one, to me it was not as believable as her other books. I did learn some interesting facts I did not know about eugenics.

Excellent author. All of her stories are written extremely well and keep the reader engaged. This was just as good, if not better than her other books. I think I have read all of them. Love being able to purchase through the store.com!

Somewhat of a different style for Jodi, that being said I couldn't put this one down. I absolutely loved it! I didn't even predict the end, which made it even better. I do not give anything away in my reviews, I hate when I come across those myself. This book is most definitely worth the time and money spent!!
