Breach of Power (The Action-Packed Jake Pendleton Political Thriller series Book 3)

If you like reading action packed thrillers, then you have to read this book. Might I suggest you read Chuck Barrett The Savannah Project and The Toy Maker fist to keep it in sequence. You won't be disappointed believe me.

This is by one of those authors who (apparently) must think that it entices the reader to be about to reveal a key aspect of the story - but to then go off on a tangent, leaving the reader wondering what's about to happen or be revealed......I just find it an extremely annoying trait!
There's a minor scattering of grammatical errors and sometimes the chronology is out of whack.
The author CAN write but has a penchant to wander off the plot and unnecessarily describes character's backgrounds, or the local history or scenery, or whatever....
Many of the scenarios beggar belief and would bear no resemblance to reality - BUT: if you can ignore them you may enjoy the ride.

So exciting to have another Jake Pendleton book to read. Always exciting, never boring and certainly not predictable would describe the action of one of my favorite agents in this latest book by Chuck Barrett. Keep them coming, Mr. Barrett!
