I always find Fern Michaels books entertaining. I do wish she would let the poor woman wear sometjhing other than pearls. Also, I think revenge as pretty much run it string. But that being said, I always enjoy her stories and hope she keeps writing.

I have been reading the sisterhood series in order. I have to say that when I finish one, I can't wait to move on to the next. Each book so far has been exciting and keeps me reading until I'm finished!

I kept reading through Chapter 8 hoping this book would improve but it did not. I got the impression the author was male with a very low opinion of the female gender. The men in this book, although not leading roles were "father figure" types while all the female characters were "Brats." I had to finally put the book down after the girl fight scene involving every stereotypical "Girl Fight" adjective available. Please do not waste your money. I would ask for a refund if I could.

When I first read the information on this book and saw what Mitch planned on doing, I thought, "Stupid man!". As it turned out he's not only stupid in deciding to do this but also cruel, power hungry and generally disliked. A bully, in short. A clever bully in the ways that he has been covering his tracks. He has been saving up files of information on people, some of which are false ones and that would ruin many lives. He admired J. Edgar Hoover, so that should give you a hint or two. It wouldn't surprise me at all to find out later that he had something to do with people getting killed so that he could move up the chain of command a lot faster. The "payback" that the sisters give Mitch is very creative and Priceless.
Being on the of of the mountain, their place of sanctuary was well written. Because although they are safe, they were also getting restless and missing home. That's when nerves start to fray and emotional upsets start coming out and causing fights. Makes sense. But as you can see, they do get called out after a while and take a huge risk by going home for this one assignment. Prison time is hanging over their heads if they get caught in the U.S. But they are in for a surprise as they pick up some unexpected "helpers" as time goes on.

I liked how Fern Michaels explained how this book came about, because she kind of thought originally that the book before was the last. I'm glad that it wasn't the last and that she found a way to take it into a little bit direction. I can't wait to read the next book. I've already got it lined up to read next.

Fern Michaels' newest addition to the Sisterhood series opens with the girls taking it easy at an idyllic hideaway in Spain. Much to their delight, they are soon given another mission--they must sneak into the US to thwart Assistant Director of the FBI, Mitchell Riley from framing Judge Nellie Easter and Attorney Lizzie Fox. District Attorney, Jack Emery and karate expert and dogo owner, Harry Wong, are two new members of the Sisterhood--referred to as the "American Vigilantes". The brains of the organization, Charles Martin, has the group, in disguise, enter Washington DC, bent on exposing the corrupt and immoral Riley.
The vigilanties work their magic, through Charles' guidance, while Jack and Harry assist them. The men know they are being watched, but are able to complete their assignment, and knock the arrogant AD Riley on his figurative butt.
Ms. Michaels' "Sisterhood" series are written to stand alone, though after reading one, you will want to acquire them all. This page turner is suspenseful with a dose of romance and humor.

Another fun read from the Sisterhood. This is the beginning of the follow up series to the Sisterhood series. The sisters are now fugitives and located in a mountain hideaway. It takes some adjusting for everyone, being in such close quarters and adjusting to the loss of everything (and everyone) they had to leave behind. Before, Charles and Myra made the plans and the "Sisters" came for a visit but maintained their own lives. Now they are all in 100% of the time. Pesky reporters, Ted and Maggie are back too, as well as old favorites. Can't wait for the next one!

fern micheals came through again in her latest installment of the sisterhood. hide and seek started out a little slow but quickly picked up speed and held your attention especilly when other people were involved who had helped them to "escape" and of course the sisters all came through with saving their accomplists and the innocent wife and daughter of the "assistant" fibbie director. can hardly wait for hockus pockus to be released to see how many of them continue espceially maggie and lizzie. i would recommend this book to my friends, my husband even reads the sisterhood series and he's as anxious as i am for the next installment of the series.
