Another awesome dark Romance by fawn Bailey. Has a twist I didn't see coming. Loved it! I defiantly recommend reading the book.

Wow........you will so need to read the prequel to this story, then let the games begin! Fawn has taken us down dark paths.....yeah, they just get darker and darker! I was at the edge of my seat the entire time I was reading this book. Just when you think you get it......twist......and then ok, I think..........nope.......there is a turn.....what a wickedly wonderful mind this author has! I sooooo love it. If you love dark.......you will not want to miss this series, or this author!

Fawn has outdone herself again. I am in love with this book and cannot wait for the next. Fawn writes with such passion and feelings until you find yourself immersed in the book. I couldn't put it down, loved it.

Wings was a deliciously dark read that captivated me from the very beginning and kept me riveted until the end. This book took me on an intense and twisted ride I didn't want to end.

From the prequel I was hooked and had to know what happened to Ophelia, Max, Ryker and Kain. Ophelia was incredibly strong but years of captivity have changed her. When I started this book I thought I knew where the story was headed. What I wasn't quite prepared for was to be sucked into this amazing story and to have my feelings all twisted around. Initially I had my favorite character but in Wings Kain made me question that and took me by surprise. He was the quintessential antihero. He is such a complex and multilayered character and I can't wait to learn more about him throughout this gripping series.

Wings was the phenomenal beginning to a series I am eagerly looking forward to. I always enjoy a great dark read and mafia romances and Wings was all that and so much more. The characters are compelling and the storyline is intense and hooked me from the first page. I can't wait to see what new twist the Gilded Cage series will take next!

I thoroughly enjoyed this master-piece. Fawn Bailey certainly never disappoints and I cannot wait for the continuation of this series. I highly recommend it to anyone who can see, appreciate and value the love as something more than just butterflies and pink roses. This is hard, dark and emotional, something that throws you into unknown and brings you slowly but firmly back up. The heroine is being rebuilt, but the man, too, and everything is not what it seems. The line between love and hate and good and bad is really thin, and I don't know better proof than Fawn Bailey's books. Ophelia is so much more and shows all kinds of feelings, and Kain but also others (don't want to spoil it further with other names, lol) experience so much powerful feelings that you would never think it possible for them. They are well-developed multidimensional characters that make you think they are right here next to you. I will definitely be reading this as whole complete series at least 10 times more.

Ophelia remains Kain's "dolly" for 5 years. Kain totally broke her; now she does anything her "Master" tells her too. No matter how much he hurt her, she remained compliant knowing she was not going to get away. Kain vows he will keep his "dolly" forever; he being the only person too have her totally as his. Even though Ophelia wants to get revenge against Kain as she believed he killed her entire family. she soon realized that she would not win against him.

The twins, Max and Ryder, also have not had an easy time since Ophelia was kidnapped. although Ophelia remains Max's future bride she wants to be close to Ryder. Ryder denounced his family. Their Father will not soften up to the idea

There is never a dull moment around Ophelia; there is definitely an abundance of hot steaming sex. It is a definite must read

Ophelia is a mafia princess through and through. She met the Marino brothers, Ryker and Max, when she was 5 years old and she felt an instant attraction to Ryker. However her father, decided that she is going to marry Max. In her 18 birthday an evil descend above them. His name is Kain.
Now at the first book, after the prequel we find Ophelia at her captor’s mercy. Max finds himself in an underground fight club, where he’s forced to fight. The whole situation makes him change and vows to kill Kain. Kain is so complicate, I couldn’t quite understand him at first. Moving through the book, I couldn’t decide which one is worse: Kain, Max or Ryker?
Well I didn’t see that twist coming at the end. I just can’t wait for the next book!!!

I am loving book one of this new trilogy. Certainly lots of twists and turns and quite early explanations. It is not much of a love story yet but shows great promise. Who will eventually gain Ophelia’s heart is of course to be determined in the remaining two books. Something that did surprise me though was how, so far this trilogy is a lot tamer with its level of “darkness” than the Rose trilogy was. I expected my emotions to be put “through the ringer” but this wasn’t the case. Any mental or physical abuse inflicted on Ophelia was skirted around. I didn’t fully connect with her angst and her state of mind. Having said all this though I do recommend this book and can’t wait to see where this is all going.

"Wings: A Dark Mafia Romance (Gilded Cage Book 1) was riveting with heroine, Ophelia caged for five years by demented and sometimes fairly nice but very possessive villain, Kain. This story drew me in... into the darkness of Kain while we learn early on the tale what Ophelia's father made him witness... his own family death so what more can we expect beside that silver cage which she lived in and was trained to be his 'dolly'. The years moved fast and just as soon as you are learning Kain's dark ways and Ophelia's signs of Stockholm syndrome ... BOOM, she's rescued if you can call it that from one cage to another.

Dang! What a MEMORABLE storyline and I can't wait till Book 2

WHAT THE HECK! This book...HOLY POPSICLE! I stayed up all night just to find out what was going to happen...Fawn Bailey knows exactly how to feed my dark romance needs! This is a continuation of Feathers. It starts where we left off. Ophelia has been kidnapped by someone who wanted revenge on her father.

As we read the book we see the man who kidnapped her change her from the bratty princess we met in Feathers into everything he wants her to be. Into everything he needs her to be. There's so many sides to this villain throughout the book. At times my heart ached for him. Other times I was warmed by how he treated Ophelia. Other times I was ready to freaken piss my pants because he made me forget he was a villain for a second and I let my guard down only for him to you know start acting like the insane villain he is...MEHN I LOVE HIM!!!! Scared of him...but LOVE him?

Ophelia is an odd ball but it is expected after everything she went through. After everything Kain did to her. After realizing that she was not going to be able to escape him she starts conforming herself to be Master's perfect little doll. 

When they finally get comfortable around each other, one of the Twin Hunks, Max comes to her rescue. Problem is Ophelia doesn't want to be rescued. What's worse is Max isn't the shy sweet guy that we met in Feathers. Kain also isn't one to let his possessions go. 

This story has some insane plot twists...one specifically that had me ready to throw my kindle and curse Fawn out at 3am! I can't wait to see where this story goes! So ready for book 3!

Heck Yeah!! This book absolutely blew my mind!! I'm still thinking about it!! It was one surprise after surprise and I freaking loved it!! Kain is really starting to grew on me, at first I was like hell no I don't like him but after reading this my mind is changing. Oh and little Miss Dolly isn't as innocent as she acts. I believe in the future books we will see some of her inner devil come out to play! There was so many twist and turns, I was like no way this is happening. Freaking awesome!! This is one of them books that keep tpu on the edge of your seat and begging for more!! I'm definitely begging for more!! Can Not Wait for the next one!! Job well done Isabella!! Mind Blown!!
