Callie's mom gave the ultimate sacrifice to the man she loved, and carried that secret to the grave. Fast forward thirty one years later and that man is trying to make amends and wants to get to know his daughter. His stepson was trying to pave the way for the reunion, he did not bargain on falling in love with Callie. I love Dylan and Callie together. This is a light good read by the fireplace during this holiday. Love it.

This was the first time reading this author and the characters were well developed. The story was great and it moved along well but there were times when the story needed a break to change to another character or a switch to a different part of the story.

This novel grabbed my attention from the beginning. A father she never knew she had. His stepson out to charm her and keep her from causing her father any trouble in his political position. The stepson soon becomes a love interest. The heroine and hero start out without any problems, but before long, there's a glitch in the romance. This is. On my keeper shelf. To some readers this might be concerted tame, but there's enough meet on the book to be a very good read

This is so today politically that I wondered if it wasn't more than fiction. On her mother's death Callie Taylor learns that her supposedly dead father is the very much alive presidential candidate Senator Warren Sherbrooke. When Senator Sherbrooke receives a letter stating that he has a daughter by a past lover. Sherbrooke's stepson, Dylan Talbot, a bachelor and billionaire gets Senator Sherbrooke to let him handle the situation to avoid bad media coverage of Callie's revelation.

Callie Taylor is a schoolteacher just getting over the death of her mother when she learns that her father is alive and the famous politician, Senator Warren Sherbrooke. Senator Sherbrooke sends his step-son Dylan Talbot to "check" Callie out and make sure she is truly his daughter and will not harm his political ambitions. The rest as they say is one for the books. I love romance novels and this one did not disappoint me. I recommend it to anyone who loves a good romance book.

This book and series have so much potential!!! The characters were interesting, but the writing needs some work. Too much "head hopping" (switching between characters each paragraph, describing their POV and/or feelings and such) and some times WAY too much writing about every thought (Callie's constant internal dialog and questions), and some typos/grammar. So I skimmed over some paragraphs and moved on. In the end I really liked the book, found myself interested in the characters and will probably read another in this series, but not all four.

I enjoyed the book very much. It was a believable storyline that was well written. I hated when it ended because I wanted to know what happen for these two later. I can't wait to read her next book in line. Thanks Christina for a wonderful story that takes me away for a little while to another life with other problems and ways that life might be.

To find out after all these years, that her father was not dead was such a shock. Now Mom was dead and Dad wanted to meat her. Did she even care? Mom had lied to her, her entire life.
Great book, I could hardly put it down. No cursing, box explicit sex scenes.
Highly recommend.

This, for all intense and purposes, was kind of realistic in it's plot. Ok, the English Adonis coming to your door under any circumstances is... fairy tale-ish, but hey! it's a romance novel. I couldn't put this down. And I didn't go screaming into the night wondering why the protagonists didn't TALK to each other. (You know what I mean). BTW Ms. Tetreault It's Jane AustEn not AustIn. Austin is a city in Texas. It kind of bugged me when Callie was such a huge fan and it's spelled wrong. I highly recommend.

A billionaire and a teacher falling in love? Doesn't seem likely. Can they make it together.? This books keeps you wondering. Meanwhile Callie copes with learning about her teal father, wealthy presidential candidate, an overwhelming experience. A good read

I really enjoyed this story. The reason for 4 stars is I think there was just too much intimate scenes especially as the author talked about what they were thinking all the time about each other. It just didn't seem realistic that not long after they first met he was ready to take her clothes off. I bought the second book in the series after receiving this one for free. It definitely wasn't as good as this one. I will try more by the author since it seems she's just starting out according to her website.

I truly loved this book. Dylan and Callie's story was so great and inspiring. I can't wait to read more about the Sherbrooke family and see how things turn out for everyone. I know happy endings are still to come. Dylan and Callie had a rough to of it but I know that their love for each other will rub off on the rest of the family. I sure hope Sara comes around and accepts Callie as her older sister. Thank you for bring alive such a great family can't wait to read the next book.

I was actually sad when I read the last chapter. It was that good. The characters in the book drew me into reading a book faster than normal. It was very well written and I plan to read the next book by the author. I hope that she plans to write a sequel to this book. The reader will be drawn in immediately. Although the plot is far fetched the author has a way to write in a matter that is indeed believable. I loved this book!

Very good reading. After the fact that Callie was the daughter of the almost President and there was a romantic interest in the step son and Callie, the story got very interesting. Okay, Sara is the half sister who becomes the sister-in-law, etc, the story made me pause to get
family and their relationship to each interesting.

A delightful modern day romance. After her mother dies, a young teacher finds out that her father isn't dead (as her mother has lead her to believe all her life), but is actually alive, wealthy, and running for President. The big surprise is that her father has a stepson that is absolutely gorgeous.

Good easy summer read although totally predictable. I'm just wondering why no one questioned the fact that the main character was essentially romancing his step-sister. They two main characters share siblings and the guy was basically raised by her father since he was a small child and thought of him as his father. I find it shocking that no one thought that was just a bit ewww in the book and glossed over it.

I liked it...short and sweet. Oh Dylan!!! What can I say ...we all want one like him.Very charming romance ,I truly enjoyed. I just don't understand why people take stars away over misspelling or editing mistakes...seriously? What matters is how beautiful the romance is.It is so irritable to read remarks like that on reviews.enough already. I hope I get to read some about Callie and Dylan in Jake history.

Commonly used ideas in a romance novel, but handled a little differently.Could have used a few more scenes between the two sisters with Sara not being a brat, she's way to old for it ,but the Jake interaction was really nice. You have to read the book to find out about the romance. The scenes from the second novel were a true teaser,I now have to get the next in the series

I truly enjoyed this story because I could feel Callie's feelings. Her truth her honesty her vulnerability. I
Over Dylan. I liked how he had a lil struggle with his past and it wasn't dwelled upon. I would recommend this book and I am looking forward to book two. Thank you

Callie Taylor finds out after the death of her mom that her father is alive. She meets her dad plus her step-brother who makes her feel at home. She faces many challenges but comes out on the happy end. Yes, there are typos, but the book is good reading. Just overlook the mistakes and enjoy this book!

Terrific story. I loved it. I am writing this review several months after having read the story and it still brings a smile to my face and an itch to get it out for another read. This sweet love story with just a bit of conflict, families can be such a pain sometimes, is terrific. I highly recommend it.

The Teacher's Billionaire holds the reader's attention with credible complications in its story of a romance between a lowly teacher and the son of a billionaire political figure. The reader is drawn to the modest and virginal teacher and the highly principled scion of a wealthy and powerful couple..
