I watch Bill sometimes but not everynight on TV. Even though I am not a regular watcher, I had already heard all the opinions in the book. There was nothing new and nothing entertaining. Gave it a 3 star because it wasn't offensive or anything, just boring. Wish I had kept my money.

After reading "A Bold Fresh Prince of Humanity" which was excellent, I was disappointed in "Pinheads and Patriots". This book was simply a rerun of his shows. I am hoping his new book about the Killing of Lincoln is better.

In answer to your invitation in your book 'Pinheads and Patriots' to rate Mr Obama's status-

I will regrettably have to choose Pinhead.

I'm not that concerned about our current economic situation; Greece is much further down the economic cellar stairs than we are and their country is still a viable place for the inhabitants. We have a lot of creativity yet to unleash on the problem, once we recognize it among ourselves. Your taxes are not really in the 50% bracket yet, just as mine are not technically in the 36% bracket. Thank God we are able to provide work to our accountants.

Healthcare remains a problem, and Obamacare (not quite here yet) is a poor joke. I've put up my own healthcare plan georgewashingtonhealth.com, to take advantage of the future big harvest of premiums. At least I'll keep my subscribers out of jail.

If Connecticut wants to elect a Wiccan as their representative, who am I to comment. Life is strange, and stranger every day.

However, when Mr. Obama took the job and was sworn in to his duties, he did accept a duty to keep our populace safe and alive. I don't think TSA is up to the task, and I don't think a blue ribbon fact finding commission would be the appropriate response after [Houston? Seattle? Mobile? San Francisco?] is gone. I don't think we are prepared to live in the world we are living in, and we are not making preparations, and that is directly in Mr. Obama's job description. We have no one else who can take that responsibility. Not Juan Williams, not George Soros, not Whoopi Goldberg...only one man. He has all the tools at his disposal, and he is playing games on his BlackBerry.

Honestly,

A good, fast read, fun and interesting. At the same time I was expecting more in depth critical analysis than he gave me, so in that sense I was left wanting more. If you want good entertainment mixed with O'Reilly's cutting style you will like this book a great deal.

Bill O'Reilly is an objective analyzer of facts and news; therefore, I felt the book would be the same....and it was. Not only did he analyze the current politicians, statesmen etc. but brought out faults and positives of past historical individuals who were famous....and then captioned them either "pinheads" or "patriots." I liked the analyses he gave of each individual. Very interesting and objective!

Bill is indeed a patriot for writing this book. One may think that Bill leans to the right but if you really look at what he says he speaks from the heart. He has has no problem condemning one ideology or the other. He speaks for what's right and what is wrong and I must say I do come from from a conservative point of view. That's what makes our country what it is and separates it from the "progressive" ideas that many countries have taken on and have a result of deteriorating them to a welfare state.

Not a typical book on politics that some would expect. Very entertaining, easy read. Whether you agree with his P&P picks or not, you will still love this book. His complete interview with Obama is truly complete. Even the ugh, ugh, ughs are in there.

Hooray for Bill ! This book is very interesting and informative. He is truly a man of integrity. (Integrity means loyalty to the truth). His metaphors are so picturesque, they are almost an art form. "Pinheads and Patriots" is definitely a good and worthwhile read.

As usual, Bill O. writes another enjoyable & fascinating book. Lots of insights into people, politics, modern culture -- all without sounding high-faluting. And plenty of chuckles thrown in along the way. My husband & I both loved it.

The book is easy to understand, honest, and love the no spin. Good review on past presidents. Concerning ObamaCare, I just wonder why no other news channel has told the public the details of it, like this book. Lots of quirks for lots of states. No wondeer it was signed into law.

Once again I review a good conservative book knowing that there will be pinheads who will attack any review by someone who likes a conservative writer's offerings. It is a waste of their time as I never read the comments made about reviews of mine and the store knows not to send me alerts about comments made. Now to the real patriots who care and who are literate. Most radical libs are not. So sad. Now possibly their little hearts are racing as they read this and they are frothing at the mouth. I'll say no more about that as those folks are already up to their necks in drool.

Now to the book. It is not, in my opinion, O'Reilly's best book. For me that is still Culture Warrior and Bold Fresh.... is close. If you have followed the show for many years then the opinions are not necessarily new. It is familiar territory and still a fun read. The only part boring for me was the Obama interview which I have seen twice. Twice too much as the Big O gets excused for a lot of things. Bill could have been tougher. Other than that it was great with only two mistakes.

In one it is written that while a good president, Dwight D. Eisenhower did not get involved in the Civil Rights movement. Not true. It was Ike who in 1957 sent troops to Little Rock to enforce the integration of schools. I remember well as I was virtually on the scene. That mistake is often made by the slobbering mainstream media and I am surprised Bill fell for it. Kind of like JFK wrongly being given credit for our entering the space age when Ike started NASA in 1958.

The second error is one many make and that is in the ranking of presidents. Abraham Lincoln is said by Bill to be our best president and George Washington a close second. Sorry Bill, this Virginian can't agree. As a history and government teacher for 41 years I have to put Washington slightly ahead of Lincoln. After all, George set the tone for how the office should be run, something Abe would have been lost without. Then again I guess I am entitled to disagree with a Yankee fan. :)

Now, I need to close as those pinheads who read this far are in cardiac arrest finding that this writer is a social studies teacher, a one time liberal who was involved in the Civil Rights movement, writing today as a proud conservative. Hope they know how to dial 911.

Once again, Bill delivers with his new book, Pinheads and Patriots! A great read. He definitely is in touch with "the folks". I look forward to his next book! Bill O'Reilly is a patriot in the purest sense. Thanks, Bill!

Order processed quickly, received promptly and in good shape, thank you. An interesting read, Mr. OReilly shows his competency in American History and as usual, comes across as one who cares about our values, culture, and just doing what is right with common sense instead of "hiding" behind the law! God bless Mr.O for his work and efforts for the Americans!

pinheads and patriots it is one of those books I wish would have gone on longer. my second favorite book of his, the top being culture warrior. straight to the point whether you agree or disagree always backs it up with facts.. Bill O'Reilly is an outstanding political author. I've read many more politically sophisticated books. but you must buy the book and place it in your library of classics.

As always, Bill has outdone his last book which was excellent, bold and fresh. In this writing, he gives a good history of President Obama's achievements up-to-date whether they are pinheaded or patriotic. Also has some good historical facts about famous people that are interesting. I hope his next book starts off where he left off with President Obama and brings us up-to-date on the facts. One can always get straight forward facts from Mr. O'Reilly and the public should appreciate that we have such a person on the airways.

It has always amazed me that liberals continuously attack O'Reilly, it really shows that they have never watched him. For the years that I've watched The Factor, I've seen O'Reilly go out of his way to be fair to both sides. He always has liberals like Alan Colmes, Marc LeMont Hill and Kirsten Powers on his show. Now to the book...

The book, Pinheads and Patriots basically takes a look at the P&Ps in our society. He rates people as a Pinhead or a Patriot based on the things they do. According to him, the label is dynamic, you are not bound to one forever. He calls out both Republicans and Democrats, and labels them. I enjoy that he gives people credit where credit is due. I hate it when either a Democrat or a Republican does something Patriot worthy, they are attacked mercilessly by the talking heads on the either side. Yes, O'Reilly does have an opinion. The Factor is not a news show, it's an opinion show, like Hannity or Beck.

This is a good book, if you enjoy political books you'll enjoy this one. 4.5 Stars, rounded up to 5.

"Pinheads and Patriots" is a wake up call to those who bury their heads in the sand and expect that History will correct itself when Pinheads continue to play the game of real Patriots. Bill O'Reilly hovers in the No Spin Zone, always at ease seeking the truth while maintaining an amusing tone throughout the book.
I highly recommend it.

This purchase arrived in a very timely manner. Never any complaint there. The book is by a favorite of my spouse and was a gift for her. I'm sure she will enjoy the read and I will probably read it as well.
