Sometimes you need a break from the thrillers and who dun its and a nice story is just what the doctor ordered. This is a reader's book, a book for people who read for pleasure. If you liked The Storied Life of AJ Fikry, try this.

A very different book, but that added to the interest. I enjoyed the in-depth development of the characters and, anyone who has lived Ina small town, will appreciate the town's accurate discription. A dedicated reader will enjoy this book.x

I enjoyed The Readers of Broken Wheel Recommend. I chose it for a book club that will discuss the book this fall. One of the plot turns was a little puzzling to me as to why the author included it; on the whole, however, I enjoyed the book.

I liked this book and found it very well written. Of course it was about two of my favorite things, books and bookstores. I just found it a bit slow to develop, but I enjoyed getting to know the characters and their many quirks!

This book was an enjoyable read. It was lighthearted, at times humorous, but a bit too predictable. The characters were somewhat cliché. The bookworm is a mousy young woman; the town's eligible bachelor is a melancholy hunk; the gay partner of one of the residents is drop dead gorgeous, which causes all the women who visit the town to lament the fact that he is gay. The author's depiction of small town life was pretty accurate and the mad cap schemes of the townsfolk entertaining. Being a bookworm myself I enjoyed how the author interwove other books and stories with the town people. I recommend the book if you are looking for some light, easy reading.

One minute you’re laughing at the individuals began to evolve in the book. The next minute you feel their emotions, fears and uncertainty. The author wrote this book so you could become a part of this town of Broken Wheel. In the mood to curl up with a book on cold fall evening? I highly recommend this book.

Not profound, but fun. Not unpredictable, but satisfying. Populated with likeable (mostly) characters and with enough plot twists to maintain your interest, at least most of the time, this is a nice, easy read - a good way to while away an afternoon.

Great book! Sarah was such a likeable heroine, as is the town of Broken Wheel. I didn't want to stop reading it not did I want it to end. I recommend this book to anyone who loved The Storied Life of A.J. Fikry.

This is a very interesting book with an unusual story line. I was never sure where this was going and looked forward to picking it up every day to see what surprises were between these pages. Due to the small town location and cast of characters, it often reminded me of Fannie Flag's books and I enjoyed listening and observing them as I turned each leaf.

I have recommended this delightful read to all of my friends! Please get busy on translating more of her books! The development of characters and the humor won me over from the beginning. I can't wait to read more of Katarina's books.

The simple story captured my attention from the first page to the end. Lovable characters that felt like family and friends. The real bonus was the book and author list. I will recommend this to all my book buds.
