This is one of those beautiful books that is hard to forget.

The Wrong Kind of Love is simply perfection. A bit of angst, a bit of lovin', a couple of characters you want to smack outside the head, a sweet six year old little girl, some humor mixed in there, and two very endearing main characters.

They say your wedding day is one of the most special days of your life, that wasn't the case for Nicole Maddox. Let's just say that her wedding day brought her more sadness than happiness. Needing to escape she ends up in Jackson Harbor, MI. In a bar, with a sexy stranger trying to put his moves on her, what could go wrong? Dr. Ethan Jackson lives for two things, his beautiful and precocious little girl and his profession. His past left him jagged and all he can give is a night of passion.

Two characters with a lot of hurt and bitterness in their heart find themselves being what each other needed when they less expected. But behind most "perfect" relationships there are always things that perhaps we can't just forgive and forget.

Lexi Ryan did an fantastic job bringing Nic and Ethan together, their sexual chemistry is unmistakably scorching, the pain they carried in their souls palpable. These two characters help each other healed when they needed it the most, they helped each other laugh again, but most importantly, they taught each other that unless you learn to forgive you'll never find peace in your heart.

Nicole (Nic) has probably one of the worst wedding days ever. she finds out that her twin sister is pregnant with her fiancés baby. This is the stuff of nightmares. The worst is she has nowhere to go so she leaves and assumes her sister's identity to escape and decides to take over a new job her sister was taking. Nic is one of Lexi's strongest female characters to date. She has a loving, kind, and considerate. I was rooting for her from the first page and especially considering how nasty her family is in general.

Nic takes a job as a nanny for Ethan. He is a doctor who has a beautiful little girl (Lilly) he adores. His wife is gone and there seems to be some unease and mystery around what happened to her. Ethan has been through heart break and loss and wants to keep Nic or any happiness at arm's length. The chemistry between these two jumps off the pages and you just want them to be honest with each other and give in.

Since this is a first book of a series, Lexi introduces us to Ethan’s family and they all seem like worthwhile stories to read. I can’t wait to read more about his brothers. I highly recommend this book to contemporary fans. It had romance, angst, humor, fantastic characters and just the right amount of heat.

The first night there she meets a man in the bar and while tipsy ends up taking him to her room at the hotel. The man refuses to take advantage of her drunken state. We all know whats going to happen, you guessed it her employer turns out to be Dr Ethan Jackson McMoody Pants.
This is the first of the Jackson brothers to get his woman. Nic ends up working for Ethan, even though the sexual tension is high. This is story of two broken people learning to trust and to love again. As we know the path to true love never runs smooth, but at least runs the right way. An enjoyable romance with plenty of heart, and lots of handsome Jacksons to look forward to.

But he secrets between them threaten any happiness they could have. Ryan is a master at creating complex characters, intriguing storylines, witty banter and steamy passion. All the Jackson men are charming and sexy, making the perfect springboard to more fun and exciting romance stories. I loved this funny, engaging, and heartwarming romance, and I can't wait to read more about the Jackson Boys!

Nic & Ethan are one of those couples that I just love together. Their "relationship" starts HOT and then turns to ice when he finds out that she's "the babysitter". Ethan's devotion to his daughter doesn't allow him to bring another woman into his life, but his attraction to Nic is unavoidable. There are promises kept and secrets revealed and undeniable attraction.

I can't wait to read the next books in this series. There were hints to the plots coming up and they sound AMAZING. I seriously can't wait.

This was basically me the entire time I was reading this book “omg omg! Eeeekkk omg omg! I love this!!” Annoying right?! But come on! I loved this book so much!!! It was such a fun and sexy book with just the right amount of naughtiness, angst and anticipation to keep you going for more. Let’s be real here for a moment here and say that this book had a lot of ” oh gosh, that is so fracking adorable!! My heart!! ” Hahaha

Ethan and Nic, their chemistry is electrifying! Ethan is broody, masculine and patient ( I kid you not, he is such an adorable dad to Lilly).

Nic is sweet, forgiving and resilient. These two together creates a relationship thats addictive and interesting.

This book starts off with a bang.. sadly, it’s one with THE biggest, most disgusting betrayal EVER (read blurb) and it continues on capturing it’s readers until the very end. Lexi Ryan has written a book that’s heartwarming and sexy, a book on secrets and betrayal but mostly importantly a book on family, forgiveness and love.

The wrong kind of love is what contemporary romances are made of- sweet and naughty. Perfect.

Note: Ethan’s daughter is so adorable! Ethan’s family? Woh… I love them!

This is my first Lexi Ryan book and I am hooked!

WOW!! This series is going to be a must read for me, these characters are pure gold!! The Jackson Brothers and even the Jackson sister are a multitude of snark, hotness, and solid entertainment!! This one had so many feels, twists and turns, and romance for days!! A sweet and sultry 2nd chancer, I giggled repeatedly as they danced around their mounds of baggage and walls the size of skyscrapers. I completely adored their slow burn, their attempts to fight the undeniable attraction simmering between them, even though the secrets were building to keep them apart. The vulnerability of these characters attempting to rebuild their lives was enchanting, and I fell in love right along with them!! I thank the Author for providing a copy to review!!

This book. So. Freaking. Good.
So good in fact that I read the entire thing while in the middle of moving. I propped my kindle up and kept flying through the pages while blindly opening boxes. I couldn’t stop reading! There’s just the right amount of angst to keep you on edge but not wanting to ripped your hair out along with some serious heat and adorable sweetness. It’s the best of everything in Romance wrapped up in one magnificent book!

My heart hurt for Nic so much. She was put through one of the worst betrayals I could imagine, but her resilience and strength shine bright. One of the most kindhearted characters I’ve ever read, she’s also incredibly real. She knows herself well and continues on shining her beautiful light throughout the world no matter the circumstances. Ethan has the brooding down like a professional, but for very real and very understandable reasons. Nic was just what he needed in his life and together they’re absolutely incredible.

I loved this book. I love every book by Lexi Ryan and this one did not disappoint. Nicole's sister commits the ultimate betrail. Nicole finds out on her wedding day and decides she needs to leave. Nicole takes off and decides to take over the job her sister was supposed to do. Bring in Ethan and his daughter and you have a match made in, well...

I love this story. I loved what an amazing job Lexi Ryan did with the subjects in this book. It's hard to handle a topic such as this, but Lexi does not disappoint. This book is beautifully written. It sucked me in and wouldn't let go. I love when a story does that. I can't wait to see what Lexi has in store for the future of this series, but I hope we get more Nicole and Ethan!

What a fantastic new series!!! I am loving these characters. These Jackson siblings are going to be such interesting characters to read about. The wonderful bond they have & their sweet mother helped make this book such a wonderful read. Ethan & Nic are such sad people separately, but they are great for each other. I hated Nic's sister soooo much. Nic is such a sweet, naive young woman that I didn't think I would like her character as much as I did. This is a sweet love story with steamy chemistry & who can't help but fall for a sexy single dad!!! I mean seriously aren't ur ovaries swooning to read this story?!?! Lexi is a wonderful story teller & I'm so excited for the rest of this series. Highly recommend this book.

He and Nicole fight their feelings, and they have a delicious push and pull that is mesmerizing. The Wrong Kind of Love is a poignant and sexy romance with laugh-out-loud humor, heartrending moments, sizzling interludes and unforgettable secondary characters. I can’t wait for the next book in the series, Straight Up Love.

I loved this book. Every once in awhile we get a female lead who is a hot mess. In this case, it is Nicole. She has her world turned upside down, when her fiancee gets her sister pregnant and she finds out at her Wedding!! Nicole takes her twin sister's plane ticket and job in Jackson Harbor, Michigan. to get away from her life.

There she meets single dad, Dr Ethan Jackson. Widow and single dad, he needs her help because his mom is off to Europe. Small town living, and hot single dad equals one hot book for me! I loved this one! It was a little crazy with all the drama between twin sisters, but I still loved it! I can't wait to read more in this series!

Lexi Ryan sure knows how to write some great stories.. and she did it again with the start to this series.. I would give this book a 4 stars and highly recommend to others. Her writing has become and addiction for me and I can’t wait for my next fix!!

One night of fantastic lust and some heavy petting will turn the lives that Nicole and Ethan have into a whirlwind... But when one night turned into a Job and secrets will they be able to shelter the storm that is brewing or will it all go up in flames?

I really enjoyed this book because it was happening in my home town in Michigan. I thought of what could happen and then had a total different twist to it. This is a 5 star must read book. You will not want to put it down once you start reading it. Cant wait for the next book in the series

Oh my.......Awesome, Passionate, Drama, Sexual, Happiness! A Awesome love story between the two main character's in this story! Ethan and Nicky were made for each other, Ethan didn't want to be involved, he had lost his wife to death, they had Lilly their daughter. Ethan was to afraid to get into anyone else! Nicky found out on her wedding day that her husband to be was secretly involved with Nicky twin sister that was pregnant with his child, so Nicky ran off to another place where Ethan's family lived and ended up taking her sisters job as a nanny! Please read! One of the best stories I have read in along time!!! ENJOY!!!
