Again, our one year old grandson likes turning the big chuncky pages. He likes the animal sounds, but there's not many animals in the book for the money. The touch and feel sections are a little better than the trucks book. Overall, not too bad.

Bought this used... it was in awful, awful gawd awful condition!!! Sooo bad it didn't make noise at all!! They should have thrown it in the trash!! Yes, that's how gawd awful condition it was!! Bought Noisy Truck and Noisy Dinosaur books.. used... and they arrived in barely-used condition AND they worked!! This shouldn't even get a star, but it's the lowest setting here...

Mine also arrived with a dead battery. I don't have time to find a tiny phillips head, open it, figure out what
battery it takes, drive around to find it and reinstall. So the book is useless because of lack of quality
control by the maker. I mean how hard is it to put in a brand new battery before shipping/??

I would like the book if it wasn't misprinted. It has two rooster pages and I'm missing the pig page. I would like to get a replacement that is correct. The second page makes a pig noise even though it shows a rooster.

My 18 month old daughter loves this book. She likes to hear all the animal sounds. She was a little spooked at first because tbe sounds are so life-like but she got used to it. The pictures are real animals not drawings or cartoon figures. I took away one star because she did find it hard to press the buttons for the animals. It's a little tough to pin point the spot on the circle and her little fingers aren't firm enough on the buttton.

I gave this book two stars because I like the concept of the book, meaning touch/feel and sound of animals. However when the book arrived, the sound of the animals are so low that there is not use in even using it. It may need a new battery, but I shouldn't have to buy a new battery for a new book. Another thing that I didn't like is that the book was only about 4-5 pages. For the price they should have included more animals. I'm sending it back only because it half way worked

This book is adorable. We had a similar one that my daughter was pretty rough with so I was in search for another. She seems to like this one just fine and I like it too. But mine came with the corners worn. Which my daughter will eventually see and probably try and peel it up worse. For a new book I expect better.

Nice that it's touch and sound but like most of these books it's kind of skimpy, more touch or more pages would be nice. The touch patch for the horse could be better too- it's not like horse hair and the material is such that my 15 month old can pick it out, soon there wil be no hair there.
That being said, she still really enjoys this book for about 15 mins at a time.

We love the book because the touch and feels are realistic and the sounds of the animals are soft volume. The kids enjoying sitting and touching the animals. When the cow makes the mooing sound, the kids crawl right over and sit while we stroll thru the book.

My 8-month-old loves this book! She can't push down the buttons by herself yet but she loves to look at the pictures and feel the textures. There was a little scratch on the top of the spine, but I expected it to be in worse condition for the price. This is a great book!

As a book its not bad.

But what I realized after accumulating a stack of books is that kids want to play.
They are more into socializing than staring into books and I-Pads.
Kids have energy which they need to let out , investing in a good game (doesn't have to be age specific) can be more beneficial to your child than a stupid book.

Feed them right , treat them well , love them and keep your fingers crossed

We've had this book for over a year now and the sounds still play, it's a very sturdy book and the battery lasts long. My son is about 2.5 now and he doesn't care for this book anymore, but when he was 1.5 he loved it. We had some of the other books in this series from when he was born and he enjoyed those too, they were his favourite books when he was a baby. It did take him a while to be able to push on the book hard enough to make the noises himself though, probably around when he turned 1, give or take a few months.

My son loves loves loves this book. We have to read it over and over and over, all day every day. The only complaint I have is that a baby/toddler cannot possibly press the button to make the noise; you have to press the button very hard, exactly in the right spot, in order to get it to play. He gets frustrated because he can't do it himself, and I get frustrated because I have to press it every time. Otherwise, it's a great book and he really enjoys it.

My mother-in-law purchased this for my then 20-month-old to enjoy on a long drive. He loves animals and making noise, but this book never really held his attention for more than a minute or two at a time. I think if he'd been 6 or so months younger, he would have been much more excited about it as that was when he liked the other "touch" books we have. But I won't knock it much for his lack of interest as it is a good quality book and the sounds are real animal sounds (versus a person saying "The cow says 'moo' as some toys do). Actually, my dog walked over the book one day and made the rooster sound and I honestly thought my neighbor's rooster had somehow gotten into my house. :)

My daughter loved animals and the sounds that they make. This is a really fun book for her. She enjoys the pictures, textures and sounds. Actually reading this book is not my favorite story, there just isn't any good flow to it. Most of the time I do old MacDonald or make up my own story. My real complaint it that the buttons are too hard for her to press. She is almost 2 and I have to push the buttons for her most of the time. She is a very independent kid and wants to do it herself so it is frustrating for her not to be able to do it. It is an enjoyable book because of the pictures, textures and sounds but not one of out favorites.

I was excited to buy this book but disappointed upon seeing what it really looks like. The touch and feel areas are not very soft and pleasant to touch they are rough and synthetic feeling. The main problem though is that although the book appears thick there are actually very few pages in it, the rest of the thickness comes from the back of the book which is just this thick filler page of nothing. It's quite ugly looking in my opinion and ruins the whole book. Also, the pictures scratch and chip easier than some of the other books i bought... this is a good idea but in truth its a dud. Thankfully i only bought this one from this series and didn't waste too much money.

My daughter got this for her first birthday and she absolutely loves it! The touch sections are great because they're all different textures, not just the same faux fur every time. The sound is a little hard to activate so Mom has to do it, but I have a feeling that I will be grateful for that as time goes on. It's a great book and I can't wait to get different ones in the series.

Noise, noise and more noise is what parents and toddlers will hear with this fun book of animal sounds. Pat the cow lives in a barn with her spotted calf. Cows like to eat grass and they also love to MOO! Noise is just a part of this colorful teaching tool that offers real photography along with cool texture spots on all of the animals featured. Young readers can hear the sounds these familiar animals make and also touch and feel them too.

This sturdy board book will teach children to play and explore with these familiar animals. Parents and teachers can use this tool to inspire other games and really get little ones interacting and learning. Board books are also great for teaching toddlers how to use a book.

My baby loves this book! But unless I'm crazy or missing a page it only has 5 sounds not 6 which makes me chuckle every time I see the cover.
Moo, baa, cockadoodledoo, oink and neigh. What a rip. ????
It even plays all FIVE back at the end.

This is a great book, the only reason I only gave it four stars is that the buttons are too hard for a one year old to push, however this was the first sound book and she loves it even if the button are too hard for her to manage.

My two year old got this for Christmas nearly a year ago. She loves it, but up until recently she was not really able to push any of the buttons on her own. Its cute but the buttons take a little effort.

Very cute book but our 15 month old was terrified of the loud animal sound effects. There is no way to adjust the volume. It would be a great book if your baby or toddler isn't afraid of sudden, loud noises.

This is the first thing I bought (at Walmart) for my baby when I was pregnant. I started reading it to her now that she is 3 months old and she loves it! The pictures and sounds capture her attention.

We owned and loved another Tiger Tales book so we thought we'd give this one a try. It's a shorter book, but the animal sounds make it fun and different! Farm animal sounds are easy to teach even the littlest children and the photos are clear and colorful. A great addition to any kids collection.

My daughter sure loves this book! She has been learning all her animal sounds with it. It has bright, pretty colors & a realistic sounds. Her favorite is the back page that makes all the sounds with one touch. The touch feature is easy enough for her to do all on her own. I would definitely recommend this.

This book is amazing at teaching my 16 month old twins what animals say. They are now saying moo and baa. This book has gotten so much use I need a new one because the binding has been torn apart! But well worth buying another one because they love it so much! The book still makes noise even tho it is beaten up!

I gave this book a two star because within an hour of having it home the binding fell apart. However it is a wonderful book that my 2 year old absolutely LOVES. I guess a little duct tape will fix it up. But, it's the principle. the book was purchased from Walmart

The noises and pictures are great, but the textures are disappointing. The roosters 'feathers' are literally just a small bit of embossed paper (not raised, not anything other than a tiny bit different feeling from the rest of the page.) I mean, really they have feathers in craft stores for cheap. The horse feels like matted up dog hair (have you ever even felt a horses mane, book makers?) the only thing my baby likes to feel is the cow.

Great book, and my 18 month loves it. I think a huge misstep is making the buttons so difficult to find/push. Our daughter is used to being able to play with her touch/sound books herself, but we have to push these buttons for her. Maybe not a huge issue for some, but disappointing to me. I'd prefer her being able to explore the book herself.

My 2 year old son was given this book as a gift for his birthday. Overall this is a very well illustrated book and the story is simple very well thought through for younger children. This is a delightful book for any child to sit down with an adult and read through. The one thing that is regrettable about the book is that the sound buttons require a solid amount of pressure to be applied to activate the sound. A little frustrating for my 2 year old when he wants to do the sounds and cant press hard enough to activate them. Overall still very good.

Too big for my 9 month baby. Binding is not strong enough. Did not last for more than 2 weeks.

Sound and touch are actualy good. I think even for a 3 year old kid, this would not last for long..
