I rave about this book in positive ways & share with everyone. This was a replacement book as a doctor! kept my book loaned to him. It arrived timely & in great condition. Great to have it back for research & continued growth.

Personally, this book goes hand in hand with The Fatigue and Fibromyalgia Solution. It's like killing two birds with one stone. With the results that I got,I felt a ' great weight coming off my shoulders'.

I read roughly three "health" books per week. It is my hobby. All of the books by Steve Sinatra are excellent, but so far, in my mind, this is the best! Dr. Sinatra writes clearly and succinctly. He is easy to understand. And, after reading a "gillion" health books, I think his answers to some of the problems addressed in the book are light years better than those presented elsewhere. This is a must read!

Dr. Sinatra presents vital information about how to maintain heart health. While the biology can be daunting, the nutritional information is clearly presented and is done in a way that can be immediately implemented.

I generally do not review books, and will offer a simple explanation at best. This book was suggested by a nurse friend, and I highly recommend it also. I was so impressed with the information I purchased one for a nurse practitioner friend. Information is given in easy to understand language, with suggestions on what supplements to take for various disorders, for example, heart disease, metabolic disorder, congestive heart failure, etc. There in a indept discussion of the various supplements suggested as well as for the cardiology disorders discussed in the book. Dr. Sinatra gives case studies from his own practice. Anyone interested in learning more about their heart and how to better care for themselves will benefit from this book. The information may seem technical at first, but it is written in a style that will be understandable for most people. I could barely put it down and read it in three days. Very informative.

I purchased this book after hearing about the supplements it touts from my personal trainer. I have no heart problems or issues, just want to maximize fitness. Good book, good for more than 'fixing' cardiac function. There are some sections that got more technical than I wanted, but for the most part it is clear straightforward. I recommend it for anyone who is interested in understanding how to optimize cardiac function: for exercise (like me) or for heart conditions--as well as for a multitude of others. Dr. Sinatra lists multiple protocols at the back of the book for use of the supplements for people with different goals: heart issues, diabetes, fibromyalgia, anti-aging, athletics and more.

While I am sure Dr. Sinatra is a very progressive and good doctor but I was not crazy about the book. A lot of antidotal stories, or that's how I perceived them. I am in the third chapter and I still don't know exactly what I should be taking as far as supplements are concerned or how they would help me if I did. I know Dr. Sinatra is a proponent of certain nutrients but please give me enough information to keep me interested. I am getting a lot of stories that sound the same. So far the information I am getting I can find on the internet without reading the book. I read a lot of the self help books on heart and cholesterol and I find this one to be one of the least interesting. Also I find the fonts to be small and difficult to read.

I first heard of Sinatra on the "Pat Robertson Show" and he was discussing foods to avoid and had hoped that there would be a list of these in book which there was not, he did do a good job of making this in laymens terms, really would have liked the foods to avoid for the body list.

The information is presented in a persuasive manner with various medical research studies and individual patient stories as support. At times the amount of information seems excessive.
The Kindle version did not render well on my iPad.

This book is a valuable resource and a great explanation in simple terms of what's happening in our cells, particularly heart cells and how understanding the mechanics of cell energy is key in heart health. A nutritional analysis showed I was deficient in the very substances that are key to healthy heart functioning and could well be what is underlying arrhythmias.

This book is more technically sound than I expected. It provides hope for those of us with a chronic energy crisis. Energy at the cellular level may be just what we've been missing. I highly recommend this information for potential renewal of vitality.

A comprehensive and informative compilation of critical cardio vascular data that all people, especially the health challenged should reed and heed. I can vouch for the preventive measures recommended in the book and am a healthy advocate of his teachings.

The author was thorough in presenting his viewpoint about heart problems and what to do about them, although his diagrams were difficult to follow--so I skipped over them. While this book was informative and helpful for people who have heart problems, it was disheartening to have him try and sell his product as being the only one that was effective to help potential patients. I loaned it to a neighbor with heart problems, and she was interested enough to give the products a try--although she didn't order from his company.

I actually ordered the wrong book, but it arrived in excellent condition. This book was very limited in medical scope for my interest and read more like a textbook. Joshcsbooks did offer to refund my purchase price if I wanted to return the book. I did later purchase Dr. Stephen T. Sinatra's other book, "Reverse Heart Disease Now", which is of much more general use for excellent suggestions for alternative food and supplements for heart disease. Dr. Sinatra is an experienced heart surgeon offering very reliable advice.

After hearing Dr. Sinatra on NPR, I immediately ordered this book. Unfortunately for me, it is packed with so much technical information I found it difficult and a little boring to read.
Although he sums everything up in the last chapter with guidelines for everyone from couch potatoes to elite athletes to people with heart disease, I wouldn't recommend buying this book unless you are truly interested in the bio-chemistry behind his recommendations.
