I loved this book. Started two weeks ago and have lost 8 lbs. My
IBS is gone. The first couple of days were the hardest, but after that I c a n look at bread and truly pass it up. I want to lose 10 lbs a month.

awesome eye opening book, i had trouble loosing weight in past and didn't know why, read the book, quit wheat and fructose's and in just 2 days the munchies went away, could feel my body running more steady, no roller coaster ups and downs. The first week i lost 2 lbs without any extra exercising or starving myself, weight is still coming off 4 weeks later, it did slow down some but i am down 5 lbs now. This feels so nice, never was able to give up Mtn Dews until now, don't have any desire for one, no sugar cravings, foods are tasting sweeter so i dont have urge to sprinkle any sugar on anything. It is a bit of work on finding foods to eat as i was eating all the wrong foods. But i am sticking with this, feels so good, thinking is clearer, patience is better with things. I am currently rereading the book a second time as there was so much to grasp. It is a life changer. Thank you Dr. Davis !!

Wonderfully informative book. By following the instructions I was able to see my stomach flatter than its been in years. I had tried so many things before. The change in my diet not only helped flatten my stomach more but my constant irratable bowel problem was cured.

This is a fabulous book! Filled with solid information, and if everyone would read it and apply his recommendations, we would all be much healthier. I have been off of wheat now for slightly over 2 months and have already seen improvements in my health ... I look forward to more! I will never go back to eating wheat!

Life changing - for the better. Although a serious health tome, Dr. Davis' charming wit and great writing make it a surprisingly easy read. It teaches us bread lovers the shocking fact that whole wheat increases blood sugar to a higher level than sucrose! No, no, it can't be true! You mean that's why I gained 50 pounds without even trying?

After catching the last half of a promotional talk by Dr. William Davis, I immediately ordered his book. I read it cover to cover and couldn't wait to get started on this new grain- free lifestyle. This book is both eye opening and a bit frustrating. Eye opening because it sheds some very practical light on the pathetic situation we have put ourselves in. It is frustrating for the same reason. That said, this book was very liberating and certainly inspirational. It is a must read for anyone with an open mind who is willing to put in a little effort to regain maximum health. Beautifully done!

I liked this book better than his first 'Wheat Belly' book, because it went into more detail and provided more science as to what happens in the human body when these substances are consumed. In short, he backs up his conclusions with convincing evidence.

This book is amazing. I had already read the previous Wheat Belly book, so when I knew there was a new version out, I had to get it. It grabs you from the very first page, making it compellingly clear why we all need to STOP eating grains, not just wheat. By page 40 or so, I had eliminated all grains from my diet, gotten rid of all food in my house that included grains or GMO's. It was in this book that I learned that white bread has a higher glycemic index than wheat bread! Imagine that. After I started eating the non-grain way, I stopped having reactions to food of any kind. (I used to sweat and/or get the shakes about an hour after eating a sandwich on wheat bread for example.)

I have already employed just about everything in this book one way or another. I had been what I would say was 90-95% gluten free for a couple of years. Whenever I cheated, I would pay the price. I'd known about the issues with other grains but was too lazy until now to do anything about it. I am now curing my acid reflux issues and I am feeling a definite difference in my health and fitness performance levels. I have been cooking 90-95% of my meals from scratch forever. Now I am even more selective about ingredients and looking for clever alternatives to work around the grain ingredients that I have thrown out. The section on agribusiness and the grain industry alone is enough to make you boycott grass grains, the health benefits could almost be secondary. I highly recommend that you read on a tablet so you can look up a lot of the biochemistry references. It will help give you a better understanding and bigger picture.

The best advice and very informative! Life Changing for those committed to making drastic health changes. You will feel younger, lose weight, and lose many other annoying symptoms that are the beginnings of many chronic disease. Type 2 diabetics have an opportunity to reverse their disease and decrease or eliminate the medications they are taking. Visit Dr. Davis website to learn more and definitely buy this book along with cookbook for many ideas for food. Its a major lifestyle change in terms of what you will eat for the rest of your life but if you care about where your health is leading to, you can make these changes. Once you begin to feel the freedom from grains, you will not want to go back. It cured my migraines most importantly, but I have also experienced increased energy, eliminated my joint pain & deep bone pain, cleared my sinuses as well as my foggy brain feeling and I just feel much more motivated on a regular bases. You have to get this book!

I have gotten so much healthier since reading and following Dr. Davis'es nutritional suggestions. Between the 1st book and this follow-up book, I have reduced my weight by 64 pounds, gotten rid of the pain of arthritis, lowered my cholesterol, eliminated nerve pain, eliminated acid reflux, and other delightful benefits. I have more energy, am happier and very grateful for all the positive changes.

Could have just said..."Eat organic gluten free" but he just says to stay away from all grains and seeds. I did love discovering coconut flour though!

Very informative and it makes you think twice about our food and where it comes from. I have been following this
concept for about a month and I do feel better with no urge for anything with wheat, etc.. It is more of a challenge
for me however, for I must adhere to a non-dairy diet as well.
