While I normally enjoy Nicole Edwards books, this one had sections missing where one person would be half way through a sentence and someone else's sentence would back up to it. This made these sections incomprehensible.

I love the characters that Nicole Edwards has created in the Club Destiny world and McKenna and Tag are great additions to this mix!
As the scandal and lawsuit that has been plaguing the Club Destiny owners and members escalates wildly and creates a media frenzy, Tag Murphy- Club Destiny's attorney and journalist McKenna Thorne begin an intense flirtation that leads to infatuation that neither one of them want to acknowledge or encourage. Tag has sworn off ever becoming involved in any relationship that would include his heart and McKenna has been burned so badly, she is not interested in putting herself out there again to be crushed.
The chemistry is hot between these two as they dance around each other and when they do finally connect, it's absolutely explosive! (Verrry smexy!)
All of the previous characters are active in this one and I really enjoyed Luke's growth (He is much more comfortable with himself than he was in Temptation)
This book started slower for me than the previous books in the series and had a bit of a different feel to it and - wow - concluded with quite an unexpected bang (so to speak)!
Club Destiny fans will enjoy this addition to the series!
I'm rating this on the Goodreads scale of 4 (I really liked it) and on the the store scale of 4 (I liked it)!

Can I just say Nicole Edwards has out done herself yet again. This woman is a amazing author who's books draw you in until you feel like you are a part of the book. Her character's are all interesting and keep you on edge. You'll never know exactly what to expect, and I assure you, you won't be disappointed! Both of her series, Club Destiny and Alluring Indulgence, fit together and flow together perfectly. This doesn't always happen with spin off series's, and yet Nicole does it fabulously well. *Clapping for this brilliant author, because well, she deserves it*. Before I review this book let me say that if you aren't Facebook friends with Nicole or her husband Colt, you are missing out. She updates her page often and her husband always has interesting ;) things to share. They truly make a wonderful team. Now on to my review of Infatuation (Club Destiny).

First just let me say I needed a fan for over half the book because it was so HOTT!! That's right, this book got an extra "T"!! As I like all of Mrs. Edwards' books so far, this one like all the others kept me glued to my kindle. The two main characters Tag and McKenna were two of my favorite thus far (in the Club Destiny series) and I just loved them. I loved how possessive they were but didn't hold the past against the other, even when it came back to haunt them. I liked how you caught glimpse's of past characters and could still feel their love for one another and got to see future characters and a glimpse at their personalities and future's (hopefully)! Which of course left me wanting more!! *SPOILER* When Tag proposed... I about cried! It was the sweetest thing ever because even though it was in his point of view... You could tell McKenna was nervous about that article and the last thing she expected was for Tag to propose. I loved how Tag would give her the "control" she thought she needed but knew before she did, she didn't really want the control she wanted him to have it.

This book was just WOW! Read it.... You won't be sorry! More than likely, if you haven't read anything by this amazing author you will be hooked and adding a new favorite to your list. Do read them in order though.

The next book in this series can't come fast enough!! I'm chomping at the bit!! Good thing the next book in the Alluring Indulgence comes out soon... Zane... Should be a very interesting and steamy read!! Since we somewhat got a glimpse in Zane's life while reading Kaleb, you understand what I'm talking about!!

Please do not read this book until you have read Conviction, Temptation, Addiction and Seduction - the prior books in the Club Destiny Series.

Infatuation tells the story of Tag Murphy, a man introduced and showen intimately in early books. In this book, we learn about the man behind the killer body and professional lawyer persona.

Infatuation picks up where part of the story line from Temptation leaves off, with Tag as legal representation for the law suit related Club Destiny legal issues. As you may remember, the lawsuit related privacy issue was caused by a member speaking to the press and Luke and Logan McCoy's desire to keep their club private.

This case brings Tag face to face with McKenna Thorne, a journalist covering the case. Tag has always been content with the nontraditional aspect of his prior relationships, something again you see in prior books.

The connection between Tag and McKenna was tangible. You feel it instantly and the more they interact the more Ms. Edwards builds this connection.

Though this book focuses on the developing relationship between Tag and McKenna, it continues to move the Club Destiny timeline forward; I truly appreciated how well this was handled.

It really worked for the story, given that Tag is the Club's attorney, it made for a layered and engaging read.

I truly loved seeing Luke, Cole and Sierra. Their relationship continues to evolve and you see glimpses of vulnerability, questions of how things would work. I thought this was also so well done, their love and continued committed to each other were always present. It was lovely and felt real given the nature of their relationship!

There was also some crossover with Ms. Edwards Alluring Indulgence series, this was well done and will make you want to read more Nicole Edwards.

The evolution of Tag as he comes to terms with his emotions will endear him to your heart.

This book has a nice amount of action, yes the hot kind but also the story action that make it a world that will stick you and keep you wanting more.

The epilogue was so well done, it added another piece that warmed my heart and a piece that made me say, "when is book 5 in Club Destiny being released!?!"

We were given an ARC copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.

Infatuation is book four in the Club Destiny series and tells the story of Tag and McKenna. Tag has ended his participation in the McCoy’s bedroom and has his sights set on McKenna. McKenna is the owner of an online site dedicated to alternative lifestyles. Sam believes McKenna is just what Tag needs even if he REFUSES to admit it. Things get heated between them when McKenna is granted access to CD to promote it on her website. We also see a bit of Mr. Travis Walker from Nicole’s AI series and even learn a naughty thing or two about him. There’s not much to say that I haven’t said before, this is a great series and NEVER disappoints.

- “Ok, forget that question. I’ve got a better one for you,” Tag said seriously. “How many dates am I going to have to take you on before I get to know what color your bed sheets are?”

This book’s focus couple could be my favourite although with each new book to the series I found myself captivated by each couple or threesome.
There is just something that touches my heart regarding Tag an McKenna. Maybe it’s that both were so caught up in not allowing themselves to commit to feelings and a relationship. For both wanting control which to me came sometimes be an illusion at best.
Nicole Edwards weaves Infatuation with her flare of steamy, sizzling, just plan hot, fan needing sexual scenes and the complex plot of jealousy and greed. All this keeps me the reader wanting more making me turn the pages until the end and hoping to pick up the next book quickly.
