I always enjoy Nicole Edwards books and this one was no different, I have been dying to find out what happened to Jared since he first showed up in the A.I Series and we finally get to hear his story.

Jared is a single dad to Derrick his four year old son! He was amazing with Derrick and I loved their relationship. Jared wasn't really looking for a relationship, he has enough on his plate at the moment without adding a woman to the mix! Jared was definitely another hot cowboy, he was just as loveable as the other Walker brothers!

Hope was apprehensive to get into anything with Jared, she's been burned before by single dads and didn't want to go through that again! I understood her reasoning to an extent but there were times she really p!ssed me off!

Derrick was one of my favourite people in this series and I wished we would have got to see more from him. It would have been great to see how he built a relationship with Hope.

While I really enjoyed this story there were a few parts that I felt went on a little too much, I set the book down for a little while but once I picked it up again I got right back into the story.

I love the fact we get to see so much of the Walker family again in this book and keep up with all the sisters of the Dead Heat Ranch as well, the fact that these two series overlap is something I totally loved.

Jared is a crossover novel incorporating the Alluring Indulgence series and the Dead Heat Ranch series and I loved it!. I really enjoyed catching up with previous characters from both these theses and it was fun to read about new characters as well. The storyline was fun! The idea of this family reunion because It certainly would need to be a big production to get all the Walkers together!

I enjoyed the characters. Derrick was so cute!!! He was such an important part to the story. Jared was so sweet but so alpha at the same time! Couldn't ask for a better book boyfriend! I admired Hope. She was a strong female character, who suffered a few broken hearts in the past but was able to take a chance with Jared, and it paid off!

The story had some drama and angst, along with several hot and heavy scenes. I could have used a little more drama surrounding Jared and his ex-wife. There was a lot there, but I wanted more. But overall, I really enjoyed the story! I thought it was well written and flowed nicely. The point of view switches characters several times, but I didn't have a hard time following. You don't need to read other two series, this can be read as a standalone. But I do recommend reading the other, just because they are fantastic!

Another wonderfully written romance from Nicole Edwards! One wishes Coyote Ridge were a real place, filled with over 6 foot tall cowboys especially with the last name Walker! Jared is a single dad who has moved to Coyote Ridge to help out the family business after his cousins decided to open Alluring Indulgence, a sex resort in their small TX town. He's escaping his past in El Paso and trying to move on with his life when Travis Walker asks him to coordinate a Family Reunion for over 100 family members at the Dead Heat Ranch not far from Coyote Ridge. One thing he doesn't need or want in his life is a woman but Hope Lambert isn't just any woman. Both are hell bent on staying away from one another but the spark between them may prove to be too much to resist.

I love Jared's interaction with his son. My hatred toward the ex-wife is real. The heat is off the charts, the suspense is well written and you will want to throw something at his ex. I cheered for Travis Walker playing white knight. In short, I fell in love with Jared and Hope and the entire cast all over again. I can't wait to see what Nicole comes up with next!

Another fantastic read from Nicole Edwards. She manages to create fresh and romantic reads every single time and ones that you will want to return to and series that you want more from.

Hope is closed off from love, dedicating her life to the running of the family's successful ranch. When Jared's family decides they are going to hold a family reunion there and Jared is put in charge of the event it becomes a test of wills to see which one will hold out the longest as the electricity between them sizzles the air around them.

Jared is the hottest single dad around, determined to do the best for his cute as a button son, Derrick. Derrick steals the show with his cuteness. Looking forward to a future with him after the hell he went through with his ex, his ex has other ideas.

I loved the fact that we got snippets of other characters throughout this book, which shows that this is in fact two big families standing strong together. With a strong, sassy, independent woman in Hope, a strong, sexy and amazing man in Jared and a cute as a button son in Derrick, this is pure awesome from start to finish.

I was hesitant on reading because of course I have my favorite already I mean who wouldn't love Travis. Anyway my book buddy said I had to read so I did and fell in love all over again with the walker clan. Who wouldn't love a family that sticks together like the walkers. It also didn't hurt that Travis was in this one as well. Great book though highly recommended for any nicole edwards fans because as always she's an amazing author. If you haven't read any of her books go and start now and then talk about them with your book buddy like I do.

Nicole has done it again!! I absolutely loved Jared and Hope's story. Jared was just amazing, he was strong, sexy and so very caring. Hope was just as amazing, she was strong willed, independent, loving and caring. I also loved seeing the other Walkers and hearing from Hope's sisters. This was one amazing love story, even with all the doubt and drama from outside sources. I can not wait to see more of both of these families.

Not since Travis has a Nicole Edwards' book been this amazing!!! Jared had all the things you come to expect from Nicole Edwards, love, heat and family. The harder the two forces pushed together,
( Jared and Hope) the more intense and heated the story got. You have to love the cuteness of one 5 year old Derrick Walker throughout the story. If you love Nicole Edwards' stories, this is the one not to miss.

Jared was a really good read. It certainly flowed well and I was gripped start to finish but I didn't quite get the spark from Jared and Hope that I have from previous couples from her books. This was still a feel good, warm hearted read and I look forward to the next book from Nicole.

Nicole Edwards always delivers heat, and Jared is no exception. I loved the AI series, so it's fun to see so much of the Walker family in this Dead Heat/Coyote Ridge crossover. When some series go on or split off, it becomes too much of a good thing. But I'm not convinced that could happen with this group. Keep them coming....

Another great look into the Walker family. I loved getting glimpses of the rest of the family. Hope and Jared are a great couple that have both had their hardships when it comes to love. But when they come together, it is hot!! Get ready for more Walkers and the girls from Coyote Ridge!

Another great read by Nicole Edwards. I have read ALL of her books and she has yet to disappoint. Her full story lines, great characters, and steamy love scenes produce books that just can't be put down. I have been patiently waiting for Jared's story since he was first introduced in the Alluring Indulgence Series and then to have it combined with the Dead Heat Ranch Series was brilliant.
Jared Walker, do I need to say anything more, he is a Walker even if he's a cousin. He's tall, built, handsome and wears a cowboy hat. Another alpha male that makes you quake in your boots. This alpha male has another notch to pull at your heart strings. He's a single dad with the most cutest kid ever as his son.
Hope Lambert, the oldest of the sisters of Dead Heat Ranch. She practically runs the ranch and is such a strong, stubborn, amazing woman. She loves her family and it's so hard not to have your heart go out to her for all that she's had to endure but when Jared knocks her off kilter you know it's gonna be a fantastic book.
A fantastic book it is. Without giving too much away, this book has it all. Steamy love scenes that leave you hot and bothered. Totally love we get a glimpse inside the AI Resort. Angst with people from the past. Family at it's greatest and I totally love the cameos that Travis makes in this book. Truly what's not to love. The Walkers are my favorite and this spinoff series is just as good. You can read this as a standalone but you'd benefit from reading the AI series and the first book in this series, Curtis; but it's not necessary because once you read this book I have no doubt you'll go back and read the others and you won't be disappointed. Happy reading!

In this cross-over story, we meet Jared Walker. He recently divorced his crazy ex and after a turmoilt relationship, he moves to Coyote Ridge with his son. Being a single parent isn't easy but he tries to make it work. The eldest Walker, Travis, gets Jared to be in charge of the Walker reunion and he meets Hope. Hope hasn't really had an easy life and works very hard at the Dead Heat Ranch, alongside her sisters. When Jared and Hope meet, they feel an instant connection. An attraction that neither expected to feel. Although it starts as something very casual, they can't help but feel more... Will they put their hearts at risk or will their stubbornness keep them apart...
Sometimes you just can't help who you fall for, even when you aren't looking, love can catch you by surprise...
