This is the third book in the Club Destiny Series. Ashleigh Thomas is a young successful author of children’s books. But what most people don’t know is that she also uses a pen name & is also a successful author of adult erotica. She decides to move back home to Dallas to be closer to her family. Her Grandfather is Xavier Thomas, owner of XTX. Alex McDermott works for Xavier & has been infatuated with Ash for YEARS! He is twelve years older than Ash & the first time they met she was only a teenager. Little does he know that Ash feels the same way about him & that is why she avoids him at every turn. Alex is sent to her new home to install her security system & she agrees to go out on a date with him. They agree to spend more time together to build a friendship. Ash is hiding more than one secret from Alex. I really liked that their relationship wasn’t rushed & they really took the time to build on something special. Unlike many other male characters in this series, Alex is only domineering in the bedroom. We also get to see the friendship between Ash, Sam & Sierra bloom. This is also the first time we are introduced to the Walker Brothers from Nicole’s Alluring Indulgence Series. LOVED watching as Alex pushed Ash’s limits  Alex still supports his ex-wife, Jessie & has been trying to get her out of the abusive relationship she is in. Jessie knows if she’s in trouble she can call & he’ll be there. BUT what have we learned?? Secrets come out & they almost always hurt the ones we care about. The epilogue was one of my favorites from the series….so far. IMO Alex was even sexier because he refused to share Ashleigh. I was definitely left wanting more of their story. I think there’s plenty more to explore for them both. Even though Alex refuses to share, the sex was still HOT! These characters are different from those we’ve met so already & I really like them both. Looking forward to the rest of the series.

The more books I read by Nicole Edwards, the more addicted I become to her books. This contemporary romance is a great blend of down-to-Earth, responsible, reasonable, successful characters and romance, both lustful and sensual -- because sometimes romance is about tender, soul-deep loving and sometimes romance is about unbridled physical wants.

This is the third book of the Club Destiny series and centers on two characters who have known each other for ten years, but only now have come together to act on the love they have had for each other for those ten years. It is quite possible that other readers may have a challenge with the fact that our heroine is a 28-year old virgin, but I find it a breath of fresh air! A nice change to what is becoming the norm.

Ashleigh Thomas, moving back to Dallas to be closer to her family, now finds herself much closer to the one man who she has been in love with since age 17 and he, then age 30, began working for her grandfather's company. All this time, she hasn't known of his feelings toward her. She has another secret, though. She moonlights as an erotic romance author -- her family only knows that she writes children's books filled with talking barnyard animals. To her pleasant surprise, she quickly finds herself in his arms and his bed – hoping he’ll fulfill some deep, dark desires she has always written about, but never experienced for herself.

Alex McDermott has spent the better part of a decade trying to convince himself to stay away from Ashleigh. In the beginning, their 12 year age difference mattered. Now, ten years later, that age difference is not important. And, when she moves back home, he finds out that he’s no longer willing to resist the overwhelming desire she instills in him. Of course, he has a secret too. He won't let that secret push Ashleigh away.

Surprisingly, I find this third book to be the best in the series, so far. Not that I didn't enjoy the first two, mind you. Simply that I felt Alex's and Ashleigh's story more deeply than the others, so far.

I volunteered to listen to the audio version of this book through Audiobook Jukebox in exchange of an honest review. This audio book is 8 hours and 45 minutes in duration (a mere two-day listen, it was that good!) and narrated by Ava Erickson and Patrick Leigh. As with all of her books, the narrators performed their parts well, and the production team, likewise created a quality final product.

To say that the fireworks explodes is not really accurate in the description of the sizzling scenes between them. And of course there is more… Alex is plagued with a past commitment and both of them have their doubts. Yet as I read through the pair seem well matched with the help of their interfering friends keeps bringing them back together.
Like the other Club Destiny books this book is HOT, hot, hot, needing some cooling off time. What I like most though is that Nicole Edwards continues to involve past characters telling a complete story, not just focusing on the erotic. With each new book in the series she connects the characters lives together helping the reader to see how everything is connected. What this does is it makes me want to know more and read the next book very smart, Nicole.

Oh, Ashleigh what have you been hiding? A secret crush, a hot night from the past, a not so secret pen name, what's underneath your children author facade or all of the above? Let's not forget Alex who has a few skeletons in his own closest! Can they put aside their secrets and act on the attraction they have been fighting for years? I so enjoyed their ride, this was a little less scorching hot then I usually find her books! Nicole Edward's book are usually so hot, take cold shower hot read, so I was a little disappointed in the lack of kink but that truth or dare game was pretty damn steamy, ya I'll forgive her!! I'm pretty sure I'll read that part over and over!! I was extremely happy to get their story, and get to know author Ashleigh Thomas, since we often hear about her. I can hardly believe I'm almost caught up with her series, on to the next book! Seriously, Don't miss out on this series!!

This one still has the hotness that Nicole likes to bring to her stories but with really good dose of unrequited love. The truth or dare games were entertaining and a nice link through to the end. I liked that Ashleigh and Alex were not as 'out-there' as the other couples but stilling willing to push their own boundaries. I think I would have liked more of the emotional story. I know that isn't quite Nicole's style but this story needed a little something more and that, for me, would have tipped the story over into a higher rating. Alex was carrying around a lot of baggage but it didn't quite connect with why he stayed away from Ashleigh for so long. As always, the sex is hot. Damn hot!

I thought this book was great, I loved the characters and how the story unfolded. There was no high drama but it went more in an the direction of nicely written naughty erotica, which I enjoyed reading. I liked the story as well, and although I was interested in knowing what amazing experience the H had, it was just mentioned in passing, in fact he did not come across as excessively promiscuous, quite the opposite. I am glad I stayed with this series and continued to read the books, dare I say it, they are getting better and better. I would recommend this book to others who like Jasmine Haynes style erotica books.

FINALLY! About damn time Alex and Ashleigh get their act together! Loved how Ash demanded that Alex shows his real personality. And it's funny to see how she's interested in Sam and Sierras stories, but finds out it's nothing her style.
I never thought Truth or Dare can be so hot! I really wanna play it with this group of people :P

And is it bad when I say I can relate to Sam and Sierra a lot? Insatiable beasts released by the men in their lifes! SO HOT!!!! But then again no wonder with such HOTTIES!!!!

I love finding a series with several books in it! I also love that you can choose whether you want to continue on with the series or not. Of course, I really love this Club Destiny series! I have enjoyed each one and as soon as I am finished with one, can't wait to start the next one. This book was very sexy (as they all have been). Great series!!

So 4th book down....and I am beyond addicted!!!!! I've read that Book 6 (Captivated) is gonna be out sometime this month (March) I hope I don't have to wait too long ;) Now on to Infatuation....heavy sigh....I must read slower!!

Sigh. Younger woman crushing on older man who finally realizes that she's a sexy woman he can't live without? Oh yeah! Right from the start I loved this book. And that game of Truth or Dare? OH MY GOD! This is by far the hottest series I've ever read and I can't wait for the rest.

great books characters are believable i felt like the books didn't stand on their own you really needed the other books in series to put the story together there could have been more back story to the characters that being said i did enjoy each book in the stories and would read them more than once
