I found this book very helpful. I've been continually asking myself why more people do not buy from us having gone through our sales system. We spend a lot of time qualifying people, talking with them on the phone and/or swapping emails. Our closing ratio is not bad, but I believe should be a lot higher based on the problems people come to us with and our proven solution. Ryan's book resonated with me from the start; his framework makes perfect sense. Ryans gives us the theory behind his sales funnel process and then walks us through how to implement it. I've decided to use his book to completely rebuild our sales funnel and I'm looking forward to seeing the results...predictable, consistent slaes over a sustainable period of time!

Another marketing book... Guess what, this is The Marketing Book! It contains the crucial element missing in ALL other marketing books. I mean it. It shows you how to meet prospects exactly where they are. I am so happy I got it. In fact I got it because of the reviews it had, I had no idea that it would answer the only and most important question...

I first heard of Ryan while listening to a podcast where he was promoting this book. I liked what information he gave so I proceeded and bought this book.
This book gives you an idea how you can implement his ask formula in your business. And approach is just brilliant!
I read a lot of marketing materials in the last year so I was kind of sick of reading the same information over and over again, but Ryan definitely delivered something fresh and most importantly, actionable strategy that I will be able to use in my businesses.

I find this book is very informative and useful for online marketing strategies in any field.
Although I have a solid experience in online marketing, this book has taught me how to create sales funnels that convert.
Highly recommended.

This book is clear and makes you want to implement the wisdom. In addition, Ryan's account of how he overcame adversity and made life changing decisions is just plain inspirational. Many nuggets of what it takes to succeed are in those stories. Read this book if you want to make your business ideas work!

Sevreal years ago, I was working on an offline-to-online-to-offline campaign. I thought, "Why can't the online user experience be more like a CONVERSATION?"
I sought the help of several online marketing "experts."
Useless.
Later, I came across the work of Dr. Glenn Livingston. He had the answer, but I was neither bright enough, nor diligent enough, to pull it off.
Finally, this book bridges that gap. The core method drives "interaction," encourages introspection in the customer, and serves up valuable intel in the process.
Simple? More or less.
Easy? Could be.
But it will take some effort.
For the smart entrepreneur, that's a GOOD thing, as it's the most reliable barrier to easy competition.
Take advantage while you can.
The first half of the book explains the genesis and development of the core idea. Not a bad read, but could have been shorter.
"Get to the point" readers might miss a thing or two by diving directly into the second half. So you might want to plow through it before getting to the "how to" steps in the second half.
A solid 4 stars.

Book is an excellent blueprint for anyone wishing to start an online business. Ryan uses his background in neuro science to mold a strategy that makes you think through how and with what your will serve your intended audience, and thus gain success.

You sell people on their problems, not on a products features. But the internet can't read your mind. Your problem isn't the same as the problem of a friend. This book helps you read the minds of your customers so you can help solve their problems more efficiently. Totally great idea!

A lot of first hand information on how to develop an email marketing funnel using the question and answer strategy to find out what your customers really want. You can also get some inspiration from the author's personal journey

Brilliant formula that I'm looking forward to trying out soon. Takes the best thoughts from so many brilliant internet marketers and rolls it into one smart funnel system. Lots of meat and potatoes to absorb and take action on!

This is a great book.....it's practical and gives examples on how to take your business to the next level. I relate so much to Ryan's story about the high lows of building your own business and the joys and pains of working for a big corporate

The techniques Ryan shares have helped me build rapport with potential and future clients. Best of all, our opt in rates and conversions have significantly improved. No fluff or generalities, but good solid methods and techniques. You'll make more than double the cost of the book. Get it.

Ask is written to get you mobilized. Ryan Levesque tells the story of his big why then gives you the details of how. He breaks down the process and shows you how to know each of your customer and speak to that person's specific needs. It's a formula that requires commitment, but then, what doesn't? Read it.

This book is a fantastic step-by-step about discovering and delivering exactly what customers will buy. As if it was not enough, the author explains another step-by-step on how to follow up with both buyers and non-buyers with well engineered email sequences. I definitely recommend anyone to read Ask.

I really enjoyed this book. Not to mention I got the audio version because I'm on the road every day. I like that this book is not the typical Internet Marketing book. It takes a little bit of a different turn. I don't want to give anything away but I definitely felt like I got some great value out of it.

Ryan's formula is scientific and yet technical. Most would be skeptics but those who have used his formulas now are believers... IT WORKS.
So those who are curious, go for the book and try out what he has to say...and if you don't understand, ASK.

This book was simply amazing.
I found the style in which the stories are writing extremely powerful and it's also helpful to understand how seemingly unrelated life experiences were used to come up with these ideas.
I've found it super insightful and already implemented a couple of things into an upcoming product launch that gave us more intelligence on our target market than we've ever had before....
Fantastic!

A paradigm-shifting approach to ecommerce. 4 out of 5 stars because some of the process feels oppressively "sales-ey", but perhaps it's simply my fear of the unknown talking. I'm looking forward to considering how the concepts covered here can help me grow the business with which I'm involved.

The book is interesting to read, both the first part of the personal story which the author shares, and the second methodological part. The book also, obviously, serves for marketing purposes of the Author's agency, but nonetheless presents interesting concepts.
Definitely worth the time I took to read it, and I might also implement some of the elements the author suggests.

As an online marketing consultant and business owner, I’ve read more than my fair share of all hype / zero content marketing books. So much so, that my BS detector starts to go off whenever I hear about some new, supposedly “revolutionary” approach to this game.
Which is why I was so pleasantly surprised when I read “Ask.”
I first learned about Ryan Levesque’s work through email marketing guru Andre Chaperon, and what stood out first was his high-achieving background. The dude is SMART. He studied neuroscience at Brown University, then worked both at the NYSE and several big-name investment banks before ditching it all to master online business.
And in “Ask”, Levesque combines this numbers-based, analytic approach with solid psychological principles AND (most important in my opinion) years and millions of dollars worth of his own testing and actual practical experience.
The end result?
You get “Ask” - the unconventional (yet simple) blueprint to discovering both exactly what your customer wants, and exactly how to sell it to them.
(Or what I call “Ethical Mind Reading”)
And Levesque walks you step by step through exactly how to leverage what you discover - to create more customers and more profit, often with little or no additional cost. You get word-for-word email scripts, sales funnel sequences, and other examples to “swipe”, all while learning Levesque’s entire approach to rapidly scaling your business, the right way.
With the step-by-step instructions in the book and (excellent) online bonus area, this is a resource I see myself referring to again and again as I apply this “Ask” formula for my clients and myself, for years to come.
And at just $10 dollars, grabbing a copy of this book is an absolute no-brainer. I can’t recommend it highly enough.

Ryan Levesque has written the book that has been missing from every online marketer's toolkit! The information provided is nothing short of brilliant in that not only does he describe the Ask "formula" but the psychology behind it and believe it or not...the HOW to implement it. Unlike most books that for the most part repackage the same advice repeadtedly, Ryan has created something completely different...or counterintuitive as the subtitle describes it.

I've been lollygagging around in my business, trying to find ways to really streamline my funnels. They were never quite right. GET THIS BOOK. I've read it twice, and as suggested in the book, I'm going through it a third time to begin tweaking what I've already implemented asap. The bonuses are amazing and was a pleasant surprise too!

Ryan's entrepreneurial journey is very inspirational. As a budding entrepreneur, the story of his highs and lows hit home. Then in Part II you get to the good stuff. The exact formula to build a business that not only survives, it thrives! No fluff - after reading many business books, unlike the others I just couldn't put this one down.
