The Rime of the Ancient Mariner (Macmillan Collector's Library Book 1)

Short sweet and to the point. Different to the length found in other epics but still an epic nonetheless. If you want a brief overview of the story listen to iron maidens song by the same name, though be prepared to listen for around 17 minutes.

I remember reading this as a young student growing up in Essex, England, UK. What fun it was to find it listed on the store. It arrived in great condition. Reading it again was a pleasure and brought warm memories of a time forgotten.

I was expecting something a little bit ... thicker? Its quite literally about 18 pages long! Oh course if I had any idea what this book was about Im sure I would not have been surprised. But yes very fast delivery and a story Ill treasure.

Though the poem and artwork are great, I am disappointed with this edition. This is not "A Dover edition designed for years of use." I am disappointed to find that this book does not have a sewn binding that opens flat. Apparently, Dover is not making them like that anymore.

This book is wonderful. My family has owned an original since before I was born. It has been a treasure. My sister now owns that copy and the binding is failing. Even though this reproduction is slightly smaller than the original, the graphics are very clear. I am now freed from coveting her copy.
