It was very entertaining to read this book. The kind you don't find any more. It is a clean love story. You will enjoy each chapter and it will end exactly the way you hope. I will recommend for young girls or old ladies like me.

Just loved this book. so looking forward to reading her next book. The characters are so real and have such great senses of humor and the sarcastic remarks just kept me laughing the whole way through the book.

Cute, funny, charming and just delightful. This is the sort of feel good story once found in women's magazines. Perhaps a bit of a challenge with the British slang but well worth the effort. It will leave you smiling.

I enjoyed the light yet comic material. It is nice to read a book where the heroine is a normal, slightly overweight woman. I enjoyed the British wit and humour. The descriptions of the locations and the characters in the book were well written. If you enjoy British humor and a quick read with a happy ending, you will most likely enjoy reading this book. I am looking forward to a second book.

Very satisfying balance of comedy and drama, light-heartedness and hearbreak. Ms. Watts neither allows her characters to wallow in despair nor to enjoy their love affair without everyday realities impinging. Such a nice change from absolute drama or silly comedy that isn't balanced!

I adore this read! I usually stick to older, classic tales, but decided to try something different and am so happy that I did. I could not put this book down. It is an easy read and I think I would have like a little more character exposition; what happened to Mable in the end? Overall, I loved it and am excited for the next in the series.

Claiming Victory is an absolutely charming romantic comedy! Victory's eccentric father wants to get her married off, much to her embarrassment. When the big name actor Noah Westbrook comes to town her quiet world is turned upside down. Beverley Watts creates wonderful characters in Noah and Victory's fairy tale love story. Looking forward to reading the next book in the Dartmouth Diaries Series!

If you enjoy reading romantic comedy, you will love this one. The plot is well crafted and the characters are memorable and charming, the kind you wouldn't mind hanging out with. The romance between small town interior designer, Victory, and Hollywood star, Noah is pure delight. I was thoroughly entertained from beginning to end. Can't wait to read the next book in the series!

I really enjoyed this book. I can envision the Hallmark movie already. It was just the right balance of romance and comedy. The characters were very believable and colourful. I would definitely recommend this book.

This book is al adjectives! Too much description in every. Little. Detail!! Not enough dialogue!! Four pages to describe a house and walking up to it, yup, I scrolled forward to the end after 26%! Even the end was long and drawn out!!! Omg, save yourself and pass.

Don't miss this one. I am completely gobsmacked. (I don't know what that means, but I like the word.) I intended to read it over the weekend, but couldn't put is down once I passed the 25% mark.
Ms. Watts has a well contrived plot, and she developed the characters beautifully, especially Tory (Victory), a young British lass with a low opinion of herself and a father that's sure of everything.
Tory finally believes something good is going to happen for her, even though she sees herself as fat and unattractive. When the worst thing imaginable happens, she falls back on her two closest friends to pull her through the crisis. No alerts on the finish here. It's a good read.
