What a wonderful book! I appreciate the descriptions of the history around the projects and the professional advise on use of wool. The pictures are very well done and offer details as well as larger pictures of projects. One day I hope to do this level of quality work with my penny rug projects. Inspiring!

Visually, the book came together beautifully. The pictures are helpful in seeing the projects from different perspectives, both the flat images and the pictures of the projects in a decorative setting. As a non-stitcher, I enjoy the stunning visuals as well as the author's discussion of her inspiration coming from early American antiques(also pictured) and her discussion of color choice. An enjoyable read for stitchers and non-stitchers alike!
