Liked this book very much. Liked the main character's subtle humor. Really liked the audio version. This is the third of the series we have read and we are looking forward to the next one in this series.

Read and enjoy. These reviews should not require a minimum number of words... more people would then contribute. Especially when you have already written reviews for the authors previously read books.

Talented, capable writer who captures both the natural and human qualities of the Oregon Coast. His climate descriptions are spot on, his dialogue is both witty and realistic and his characters are engaging and endearingly human. Garrison's angst (and guilt about his past) is as real as the rain. Great read!

Scott William Carter’s The Lovely Wicked Rain is a mystery that will keep you guessing all the way to the end, but it’s more than just that. It’s also a moody atmospheric character-driven story with a deep sense of setting and place. For fans of his previous Garrison Gage works, including The Gray and Guilty Sea, and also his Myron Vale series, this one is a must-read and will surely find new fans as well.

Again--these books are the closest thing yet to Travis McGee! But at the same time different. Interesting main character. Good smaller characters. Good male/female banter and sense of humor. When is the next one coming out?

Excellent final book in the series. i hope the author will continue the series in the future. Enjoyed the plot and the characters but still left us guessing as to what the heroine would do concerning his personal life.
