Yes it all wrapped up nicely, although a little too quickly at the end, I found the first half overly filled with non-stop silly conversation. Found it hard to connect with the main character at all. Will try another teacup novella and see if it's just this first one or the writer just not being my cup of tea.

Lovely, inspiring story. I hope to read all in this series. So pleasant to read interesting tales of people who sincerely care for each other and are willing to forgive and forget when that is necessary.
Most ages will enjoy these "Teacup" books.

The book just wasn't sophisticated. It's a fantasy about two friends who decided to open a tea room and all of the romances and friendship difficulties that happened leading up to business opening. I think there are so many better books out, such as
"Cutting For Stone" which leaves the reader thinking about it long after the last page is read.
The Story of Art :: Tom Ford :: Pandora's Star (The Commonwealth Saga) :: A Zombie Survival-Horror Graphic Novel - End of Days :: Push: A Novel

This was a silly little book that was too simplistic for words. There was a religious theme in the book which I like to know about in advance. None of the reviews really talked about that. Characters has very little dimension and everything came to a too tidy, wrapped in a bow conclusion.

I had a blast reading this book, despite the multiple retellings of Emma that already exist. This one was interesting even though it was somewhat obvious the outcome pretty early. I don't often reread books, but this one I might. It was just a lot of fun and sweetness. Also nice for once to incorporate Christian principles and God in an Emma takeoff. Well done!

The storyline revolves around two college graduates who will soon embark on life's journey. The plans God has for them and the life lessons learned that the writer, Diane Moody, is a natural, at the richness she brings to her characters. Her characters step up to the plate and take on the responsibility of maturing. This series builds and I am ready to meet a couple who will handle a new relationship. I would recommend theses for a homestudy. Because they're short enough to read

I enjoyed reading “Tea With Emma.” The characters seemed authentic. The pace made for an enjoyable read. Finding Christian fiction that I want to read has not been easy for me. I look forward to book 2 in the series.

After reading the third in this series, I realized that I have five of them loaded on my Kindle...so I went back to the beginning. This first story is another sweet read. I love how the author uses the teacups as her inspiration. Lovely.

Diane Moody has become one of my favorite authors, right up there with Beverly Lewis, Lorain Snelling, & Jan Caron to just mention a few. These Teacup Novellas are an absolute delight. I wish there were more than 5.

I really enjoyed this book! It was inspiring and was also a catalyst for my own memories that are associated with special family keepsakes. I also appreciated that God was woven into the story, especially showing the character of forgiveness, healing, and hope.

This was my first Diane Moody novel but it certainly won't be my last. I enjoyed this sweet story so much. I thought the characters were well developed and the plot moved right along considering there wasn't much room for finely defined product in a novella. Ms. Moody more than accomplished her goals. I am a new fan!

This was a great story and lasted longer than the usual novella lengths. I really enjoyed the story within a story being a different angle than usual for a writer to take. I also was really glad to see the recipes at the end of the story combining two of my favorite hobbies cooking and reading into one great insight of the author. Can't wait to read the next installment to this continuing story. This was a good clean romance that I would recommend to anyone to read and enjoy.

Refreshing! A quick and enjoyable read. I really a good cup of tea and stories about people who also enjoy tea, and everything that goes with the tea, are a delight. This one also shows God's love to and through the characters, making it extra pleasurable for me.

I love pretty tea cups and feel delighted when using them. That is a part of this story, but it a fast moving story of relationships that kept me reading. It is funny, sad, entertaining, and I loved it.

I enjoyed the simplicity of this book. It is really nice to read a good story that isn't filled with sex bad language and violence. I really loved this story and look forward to book two which I already have on my kindle.

The book started a little slow and the writing seemed a bit amateurish in the beginning, but the story drew me in. I liked how the author resolved the situation between the heroine and her best friend. I only gave it 4 stars, because it was as if the author threw God in as an after thought. Is this a Christian romance or not? It was hard to tell. But overall I enjoyed it and would recommend it to other readers.

The book was really great for a lazy Saturday afternoon. Gentle romance, mistakes, love, family, flirting, etc. All of the parts that needed to show a really gentle and lovely book. It really brings back the ones I read with pleasure years ago. I truly recommend it to all. There is alot of humor and love for family. Enjoy:)

Predictable plot, all characters have been met before, everyone is beautiful and the happy ending for all happens just as one hopes. Cute, sweet, with little depth, this is the perfect light read for when you need to relax and don't want to think too much

The beginning seemed a bit contrived for me with two young ladies acting as if they were teenagers. I kept reading and the story line became more believable. It was a nice story. Light reading without much brain work.

Love conquers all. Two best friends lose their friendship because one thinks she is a matchmaker and destroys
a budding relationship. But when boyfriend comes to confront interfering friend the relationship is rekindled and the interfering friend finds a match. Enjoyed.

Loved how this novella mixed the spiritual relationships with God, of the main characters, with the light-hearted humor of developing life-changing friendships........including the ups and downs of developing healthy relationships. The touch of Jane Austen intertwined with tea cups and dreams was so much fun!

I really am enjoying this series. The stories are short and sweet, yet exciting and fun. I like the continuing romance of the "author" at the beginning and end of each book. It surely makes you want to go right on and read the next one!

I found the concept of the stories about each individual teacup to be a charming idea. This because I have at times seen an old object, and wondered at the interesting stories it would relate of its travels were it able to do so.
The characters were likeable and there was a humor in the storyline. This book was the perfect light, cozy read to relax with before bedtime.
A happy ending for everyone except the poor neglected kitten. The feline should have been rescued in time, since that creature's unnecessarily sad ending didn't really seem to fit the genre of the story.

I really enjoyed this first book. I love the story within a story. I wished they were longer so the story has more time to develop and the characters can get more fleshed out. Otherwise, great story. I also would recommend the others.

Oh my! Such a delightful morning I have just spent. After a day yesterday of sadness and pain, I decided to give myself a gift of reading a good book -- yours. Thanks to Jeanette, my FAVORITE sister-in-law, I came to know Diane Moody's stories. Your delightful creative ways won my heart and soothed my former pain. Yesterday's confusion led me to your soothing story. I can not accept the new path. I like to rely on God to direct my path, and sometimes He puts the reins in another's hand. So you took the reins and I'm looking forward to the adventure He has in mind for me. Thank you, Diane. I anticipate more of your stories, teacups in hand.

Delightful read. Reminds us that we need to allow others to make their own decisions rather than try to control others as well as follow some of our own instincts. Life is not as it appears on the surface.

A quicker read than I was looking for...storyline based on a memory stirred by a teacup. Novella too short to develop the characters. Since I like everything about tea, scones, authentic English tearooms, and teacup collections, I enjoyed the setting/premise but wonder if all the teacup stories could have made one in-depth novel.
