Bear Meets Girl (The Pride Series)

This book captured my interest from the very first paragraph. Could hardly put it down. Loved reading every word, waiting to see what would happen to the characters on the next page.. I have never read any of Shelly Laurenston's books before, well now I have become a Fan... Bear Meets Girl was my first book and it keep me on my toes. Loved it all from the first page to the last. Hope she continues on with some of the characters in the book. they tugged at my heart strings... Thank you so much Shelly...

The adjectives - funny, lively, well-plotted, page-turner - are a reasonable response for a book that provides solid entertainment value. Neither hero nor heroine are stereotypes or clichéd. Read it, you'll like it.

I have loved reading Shelly Laurenston's books since I first discovered them. Her series have been fun and exciting to read.
She makes the characters seem real and amazing. I wish at times that they were and I was apart of their world. Can not wait
for her next book to come out.

She nails the animal characteristics of each of her shifters to a "T" and sets them "right smack dab" in the middle of the crazy, funny, and just plain amazing scenarios that she creates!!! Shelly rocks!!

Another wonderful book by Ms. Laurenston! I love her tough but caring females and grumpy, gorgeous males! Add in a laugh out loud dialogue and you get a wonderful read.

I will buy anthing by Shelley Laurenston alias G. A. Aiken.

I'm never disappointed by Shelly Laurenston. The latest book in her shifters' universe brings back many of my favorites and adds a few more - most noticeably Crush. I laughed out loud many times which, trust me, was not universally welcomed at 7:00 a.m. on the #5 train from Flatbush. BTW I will adopt Crush's foster dog, Lola, if Crush personally delivers her.

Shelly Laurenston is an great writer

I am a huge Shelley Laurenston fan and was anxiously awaiting this book. I've reread almost every one of her books at least 3 times. This one, however, I don't think I will revisit. It was worth the read, but not has hysterical as her other books. I'm still a huge fan though!

I was delighted to find this entertaining & funny continuation of a much enjoyed series downloaded onto my kindle as I prepared to board my loonng flight to Singapore. The main characters have previously been mentioned in other books by SL & each new book it's like catching up with some old frends while meeting new & interesting characters. I like that in these books, a wave to old charcters as new characters & their stories are told. I wish the author had time to "check in" on all her previous characters, but thats just not how a professional keeps a story flowing (I know this is so, but dont have to like it) The book description is accurate but IMO what is important in these reviews is if the reviewer is happy to have paid the price & if the book was as advertised. Yes I was happy to pay the price, yes the book was as advertised & YES, like other reviewers I laughed out loud (lots) & on a plane you can't get away from the people who are looking at you because you're sniggering & chuckling much more than anyone else sitting near you. Is it great literature? - maybe not - is it a funny, lighthearted, well crafted, entertaining read? in my opinnion the answer has to be resounding YES
