Probably the best read thus far from Jeremy Robinson. He has a style all his own and if you liked the previous books then this one is better. There are some good reveals about the Kaiju history and just generally bringing that world that the story is taking place into better focus.

The latest installment of Jeremy Robinson's Kaiju stories and a winner!!! I anxiously awaited this one and as he can really bring his books to his readers fast, we don't wait as long as we could.

Jon Hudson and his team get called when something weird begins in the Tillamook forest in Oregon and they find the BFS, basically big spiders ... Then they run into a black team of DARPA and all hell breaks loose... In addition we see return characters and relationships that are evolving. The action is amazing and is edge of your seat adventure and keeps you hooked in as soon as you start reading, I read this book in a day and a half!! I loved it and is probably one of my favorites.

I wasn't much of a Godzilla/Kaiju person but my eyes have been opened with this one. If you like Kaiju here Ya go!!! Read it .. After Islamd 731, nemesis and project maigo... And you'll be glad you did !!'
You'll be hooked!!!

Project 731 is the newest addition to the kaiju stories by Jeremy Robinson, who brings in elements from his Project Maigo, Project Nemesis and Island 731 stories.

Jon Hudson and his DHS FC-P crew are called in when a report comes through of something strange in the Tillamook State Forest in Oregon. Namely, what Hawkins calls, BFSs. How these BFSs got to Oregon is on the head of DARPA’s super-secret division, Genetic Offensive Directive (GOD). GOD experiments on creatures trying to develop something to use in war. They also have possession of the Nemesis carcass, which they think is dead. But she’s not. GODs experimentation gets out of hand and the race is on to stop the BSFs before they take over the world. Fortunately Nemesis isn’t really dead but she is mad.

There are poignant moments as Jon and Maigo work out their new relationship of father/daughter. They have a mental connection that was forged when Maigo was part of Nemesis they that they are also trying to adjust to. Jon and his best girl Ashley Collins are also trying to work out their relationship.

Jeremy Robinson brings in new technology that is fascinating. His kaiju live up to and surpass any you’ve previously encountered. His creatures are truly monstrous and very imaginative. This is a full steam ahead action packed kaiju story. You don’t need to have read the previous stories before reading this one, but I guarantee after you read this story you will want to read the others.

Jeremy Robinson continues to show why he is the master of the Kaiju literary genre - and deserves to see his ideas put to the big screen. This story in particular seems almost tailor-made for Hollywood - two terrifying creatures combine, and the original form of one of them has to stop the other.

Our action here picks up not long after where PROJECT MAIGO finished up, dealing with the repercussions of that book's final battle. Meanwhile, another super secret government group is having a bit of clean up of its own - it seems some of the creatures from ISLAND 731 have made their way to the Oregon coast. These two storylines converge near LA, and LA and Salt Lake City will never be the same again.

Fans of Robinson will be thrilled - there is quite a bit here for the long time fan. Newbies to Robinson will get a prototypical Robinson story - wildly imaginative action, with humans fighting humans, humans fighting creatures, creatures fighting creatures, and just about everything in between, along with genuine character development, particularly in Hudson and Maigo. So pick this book up - you really can never go wrong with this author!

As an avid reader of thriller novels, I’ve really taken to Robinson’s work. In my opinion, he continues set the bar higher with each novel he writes. Reflecting back to some of his previous works, Island 731, Project Nemesis and Project Maigo were really fast reads for me, I couldn’t put them down. I was delighted to see that Project 731 tied these all together. The story is narrated with sarcastic humor and you get a nice first person perspective as the storyline advances throughout the book. There are developments that give some answers to things you think about as the novel progresses, but as a big Robinson fan, there are certain revelations towards the end of the book that were jaw dropping to me. Without giving any spoilers, he masterfully tied in a previous work that was long ago dubbed as a “stand alone novel”. I am now anxiously awaiting the next installment of this series, and I know that when it comes, I will not be disappointed. Well done, Mr. Robinson.

Nemesis certainly is the best kaiju ever created!!! To me that is. Her background is exciting and new and different than any other kaiju ever created. With each Project Novel, they keep getting better and better!! Project 731 is certainly my new favorite of Jeremy's work. It blends mythology, realism (in a way), science fiction, and non stop action. Not to mention humor. He puts in humor wen you least expect it which makes the novel so much more fun to read. And the twists in this book even suprised me!! Loved every page of it!! True, you dont have to read the other Project books but I recommend doing so but start with Island 731. Makes everything much more easier to comprehend. I just finished it yesterday and it was amazing!!! I deffinantly reccomend it!!! :D <3 Nemmy <3

Few authors can link a great story together over the course of a series with sequels. But it takes a great author to tie together multiple series across many books and keep it simple and great. Robinson does it to perfection here in Project 731. A sequel to the amazing island 731 and yet also a sequel to his kaiju books Nemesis and Maigo and also somehow amazingly a sequel to one of his earlier works Raising the Past! I may have had a harder time now explaining it than Robinson does at creating it. I can guarantee you that Jeremy Robinson will forever be listed amongst the best action thriller writers of our time. In this current notch on his belt of proving to the wold he is amazing, Jeremy seamlessly and beautifully brings a bunch of characters together into a wonderful tale of action and adventure. And even though he is combining several stories he never gets convoluted or weird. The book is pure easy to read fun from start to its climactic and insanely cool finish. Again Robinson shows his deft ability to have the humanity of the story shine through even in the shadow of several 300 foot tall monsters. In the end this book is about family and friendship love and revenge. (And I still gotta admit I love the idea of a walking roaring 300 foot tall vengeance fueled monster). You won't want to put this book down because it quite literally never stops the adventure. It's pure adrenaline and excitement. It's got a great satisfying ending that doesn't disappoint and promises more fun to come! I personally cannot wait to see what Mr Hudson and co. face next. And if the ending is any hint it's going to be out of this world!!

Jeremy Robinson outdid even himself with this book. I had forgotten how much fun it was to read a Jon Hudson book. Reading this book was a blast and I loved all the previous books but this one outdid them. Combining Island 731 with Project Nemesis was genius! As a fan of all things Robinson/Bishop, I was smiling ear to ear with all the Easter eggs thrown around that you might not catch but to true fans could see a mile away. If you are looking for a great Kaiju book, look no further, if you are looking for a fun and funny book to read, it's right here. You won't be disappointed, Nemesis is this generations Godzilla.

Jeremy Robinson’s Kaiju Thriller “Project 731” is seriously great entertainment. Third in what is now an unforgettable series of novels focusing on “Nemesis” the “First American Kaiju”, Project 731 combines all the elements of the first two books, Project Nemesis and Project Maigo with the characters and elements of a completely different standalone novel, Project 731. The result is a giant monster, sci-fi thrill ride of epic proportions.

Mr. Robinson’s extremely prolific library of thrillers has led him to a form of “world building” common amongst great fantasy and sci-fi writers. This world building is starting to come to a head of steam within all of his “Project” novels as he combines characters and elements from many of his previous works. It is clear by the end of Project 731 that the author has ambitious plans to bring more of his various storylines together in what is sure to be an Epic mash-up (or smash down if you prefer) of science fiction, alien invasion, military special operations, mythology and of course most of all, Kaiju, the famous Japanese “Strange Beasts”, better known as the giant monsters of lore. Robinson’s “Nemesis” has taken her place in the pantheon of these famous monsters alongside Godzila, Rodan, Gamera, Mothra, King Ghidorah and all the rest.

Excellent Kaiju story. The entire series is so very good. I hope to see more in this series. Nemesis is a great character and had such a personality. I hope someone with Hollywood movie connections can share this story and series with someone important. These would be the next hit at the theatres. Even better than I ever expected. I'm a Jeremy Robinson fan forever now. Getting ready to start the Last Hunter series!! Keep going Jeremy, I want more Jon Hudson and (Maigo, Colli
ns, Lilly, Action, Dragon etc!!!!!)

Rollercoaster ride of thrills and excitement await any reader! Project 731 (A Kaiju Thriller) is extremely fast paced and a page turner! For readers who love to feel immersed into a story. A breathless pace that has the reader scurrying to to try and keep up with the characters and the monsters! Yes.. MONSTERS!! No other author can fill your imagination with vivid mental images of what could be.. if a mad scientist were allowed free rein in a laboratory! hehe

And another really good book by this author. Answers a lot of questions from the first 3 books. Some serious stuff happens in all of them, but this ones explains the where and why's. Hope there will be more, but need a break from all the action. And the monsters! Not that I'm scared or anything. LOL. Would recommend to anyone who loves a little sci-fi, action, wacky characters, good characters and sub-human ones.

My inner nerd is going nuts over these books. Why Hollywood has ignored these I dont get it. I guess they want Marvel and Spiderman to be there saviour whatever. Give me Nemesis over Robert Downey Jr anyday. The only complaint I do have though is the books are a bit short. I want a 500 pager. 400 would be fine lol. Thats how good these books are.

Project 731 was my Creature Paradise and Kaiiju Heaven. Jeremy Robinson never ceases to amaze me with his intuitive, action packed, imaginative Kaiiju Thrillers and this new installment in the Nemises series is my absolute favorite. I love the combination of Robinson creatures seeing new Kaiiju and old favorites. Get this book for the ultimate Robinson fix :)

A fun, vivid romp for anyone who enjoys creature features in general, not only kaiju-oriented. J.R. writes in a clear, streamlined, action-ready prose that is perfect for those times you are in the mood to embed yourself in a well-told sci-fi story. Better still, his writing has improved since his early volumes, making me look forward to every subsequent release.

Another winner for Jeremy, This book took off from the start and did not let you slow down. I could not put this book down! Kaiju and more Kaiju with the FP-C coming in to save the world again, with a new added touch of the Black Guard are they good are they bad?? This a great book to pick up and it will not let you down...
