The strangest thing... the exact same chocolate cupcake recipe is printed at least four times in this book and the vanilla cupcake recipe at least three times. Yes, each time it has a different frosting, but it's the exact. same. cake. recipe. I've read and collected cookbooks for decades, and never seen anything like it. Way to fill some pages! That said, I adore the vanilla cupcake with chocolate cream cheese frosting at Sprinkles and cannot wait to make it at home. So I guess all is forgiven!

Lots of good recipes. Some silly ones that just have you use a cupcake and add something like ice cream. Vanilla frosting recipe turns out great. I think there are way too many pics of the author grinning like mad throughout (more than the food it feels like) so I don't want to own it (I got it from my local library).

Bought this for a friend as an early Christmas gift. When the booked arrived, I took some time to flip through it and loved the recipes/images so much that I decided to put it on my wishlist for this year too! Great quality book with some really awesome and delicious-looking recipes! Can't wait to try some of them over the holiday season.

Great Recipe Book! I purchased the Kindle edition for the Vanilla Cupcake recipe and found it had so much more! Great recipes, tips stories and lovely pictures! I will be buying the hardback version! Highly Recommend!

This cookbook is a bakers dream. Not only does it have many of the iconic Sprinkles Cupcakes recipes that my family loves but they are easy to follow and come out as delicious as they do in the store. We have tried a few new recipes too and have enjoyed those as well. This is the perfect holiday gift for all of my baker friends as well. Perfect timing!!!!

I pre-ordered this book because we love Sprinkles and always stop when we are near the Chicago location. I was excited about the opportunity to make the Chocolate Marshmallow cupcake which is my favorite at the shop! So far I have only made the Brown Sugar Praline cupcakes and they were a hit - I will be making again for Thanksgiving in a few weeks. The recipes were easy to follow and had some helpful hints included. I can't wait to make more of these recipes!

I let a few of the reviews deter my purchase. . . "not the real recipes from the shop" (I am paraphrasing), etc. . . Today I baked Candace's "Orange Cranberry Cupcakes", from a page I tore out of People magazine (which I only bought because Chip & Joanna Gains were on the cover). These are probably the best cupcakes I have ever made or eaten. I figure this recipe is worth the price of the book which I am now very eager to purchase. Thank you Candace for a winning/working recipe; I am confident your book will gift me with more treasures.

Like the other reviewers who rated this book with 1 star, I found 4 out of 5 recipes to be wrong. All of the frosting recipes are off. I made 2 cupcakes, 1 cake, 1 pudding and the caramels. The only thing I made that came out well was the sea salt caramels. I've been baking for years and have never had this much trouble with frosting. If you want to protect your recipes, then don't publish fake ones. Just don't publish them at all. It is really misleading to customers to publish bad recipes. All you are doing is losing customers, like me. And in regards to the pretty photos, am I the only one who thinks its odd that in several photos Candace Nelson is posed in evening gowns next to the desserts? In one photo, her dress is even see-through, by her profile. Is this the tone she wants to strike with (likely) a predominantly-female audience? I'm confused. Will not be using this book again and would never recommend to friends.
