Absofrickinglutely one of the best books of 2016 and that's saying a lot!!! Rachel Van Dyken is one fantastic author, this one has it all, sexy, humor like laughing out loud humor, and love. Characters are so darn awesome that you want to be them!

I really enjoyed this book. Rachel Van Dyken is one of my favorites and I can't wait to read the next book (which I will be starting after this review!) Ian is very dreamy. I just love Blake, Lex, and Gabi. Awesome book and worth the read!

I really loved this book. I loved the banter between all of the characters, the plot and the little graphics that came up were cute. (cheesy but cute) I'm excited to read book 2, I think Rachel has planted some seeds as to how this ones going to go!

I loved this book. It was hilarious and flowed awesome. I highly recommend it. My kindle edition had really messed up the print of the text messages in the book so hopefully that's not an issue for everyone. The story itself was worth 5 stars - I just decided it was like a bonus to challenge me to decipher the texts;)

Oh my Gosh! Loved The Matchmaker's Playbook. So much fun!
RVD has a way with writing great dialogue between friends. It's always so much fun, full of sass and super sexy.
Ian was Superman but Lex, he sounds pretty "super" too.
Looking forward to #2 in the series.

I really loved this book written from the male POV. The characters were really fun and it was written such that you could get to know them immediately. I found myself giggling out loud and eager to turn each page. I look forward to the next book in the series!

If you love cocky smart gorgeous guys, you will love Ian. Told from the guys POV, is just one of the things that makes this book so amazing. While reading it you will always have the side smile going on that will have people wondering what you are reading. Tell them! Rachel has done it again with her witty characters, that make you wish they were real people you can hangout with.

This is definitely one of my best reads for 2016. I loved every minute of TMP from Blake & Ian's crazy love story to Gabs & Lex's humorous antics. (Btw pease tell me the next book is about them)! I'm glad I chose it for my first RVD read. Can't wait to read more.
Happy Reading!!

Enjoyed every minute. Bought the audiobook accompaniment and thoroughly enjoyed the story. Not sure what the purpose of the little moving pictures periodically. I missed most and probably won't bother going back to check them out.

Another great book by Rachel Van Dyken - the story was different from anything I have read and I really enjoyed it.
After I started reading the book I learned it was being made into a movie; now I'm looking forward to seeing how it will play out.

This book was different than I expected. The characters were in a younger age group than I thought and was told from Ian's POV which was somewhat immature at times but I found it funny & a great read. I look forward to the second book about Lex & Gabi!

Absolutely loved this book! Ian... Hot, Sexy, Witty, and Charismatic. Where has he been!!! Loved the chemistry between him and Blake. Loved Blake's take no sh*t attitude. Lex and Gabi... Supporting cast almost as good as the main characters. Highly recommend reading!!!

Rachel Van Dyken has done it again!!! I loved Ian and Blake. I can't wait for the next book.... I do hope we see more of Ian and Blake in the next book. If you're looking for a book that's funny yet has enough romance, then this is the book for you. Don't pass it up very good read.

the store rejected my first review. I have no idea why, because they don’t tell you or allow you to ask. So I’ll say this. The book is full of mature content and words, if that’s not for you, best steer clear.
Edited review:
I know people love this book, and I read it because of the upcoming movie. I kind of wished I would have just passed over the book.
First of all, these people are college students? Really? I know it's been a long time since I was in school, but I don't know any college students that could pay a love coach $200 a day for their services. That would buy a heck of a lot of Top Ramen.
Also, I'm not sure the writer has spent time in the Pacific NW. It's cold here. Shoving people in the water, even waist deep, is mean, even in summer. And women don't run around in pieces of spandex, because, cold! If they are in a sports bra and running shorts, they also have their Columbia fleece on. Not a big part of the story, just annoyed me.
But the story...
Why is it okay for men who do anything with a pulse, tell women everything that is wrong with them? I get that these men are supposed to be helping these women be the best version of themselves. But that isn't found in a pushup bra, or bike shorts the right shade of pink.
Then there is the easy manipulation of the men these women want, and the endless patting themselves of the back, on the part of Ian and Lex, for being so smart about the human condition.
Also, in my many years on the planet, I have found it is the women who teach men how to kiss, not the other way around.
Of course, predictably, when Ian fell, it was hard and he became a bundle of insecurities. Buddy Lex was there to kinda help, but also be a jerk. When he called Blake a b**** and slammed the door in her face and she "predictably" came back anyway, that was a whole lotta nope!
Generally I complain books wrap up too fast, but this one seemed to go on forever, and it needed an epilogue?
The author has an easy flow and writing style. I’d considering trying her again. But the characters in this story were repulsive…and a little compelling all at once. Not sure if I will bother with Lex's story.

As much as I loved the video clips, my vision of Ian did not fit this guy. Yes he is hot but the description of him is way more than the actor I saw. Blake was perfect though.
