There was no explanation for how the last chapter came about and no resolution to the story. I really enjoyed the whole series but the ending was terrible. EX: Shari, the back pack, and HOW did Murphy come back to Isis(!)? Disjointed...

This book provides a detailed web of deceit leading to the endtimes, adequately supported by scripture, and an ongoing battle between the forces of evil and the forces of good. The reader will be instantly involved in a well-written dialogue of the endtimes.

Tim LaHaye has a way with blending fiction into biblical prophecy. His stories are fast-paced, and hard to put down.
"The Edge of Darkness" tells of the fast approaching time of the anti-christ. This series is a must read for everybody.

Just like the Left Behind Series, Tim LaHaye does a wonderful job of using fiction to teach real bible stories. Professor Murphy continues his quest to find bibial artifacts in this 3rd book of the series. The action is great, the villians are nasty.

Very interesting and keeps you wondering what is going to happen. Great series
Tim LaHaye and his different co-authors really tell a great story using the Bible as their guideline in a fiction story.

Tim Lahaye neve disappoints! I've read & loved all his books! They're a fast read because they're fast paced. I love that there is always a moral lesson to be learned & that Tim Lahaye (& his writing partner Jerry B. Jenkins - for the Left Behind series) have made Christian reading cool & exciting!

What a let-down. This book was dull, dull, dull, in sharp contrast to the very exciting first book in the series. This book had endless boring monologues from people I didn't care about. The only one I did care about was Talon, the villain, a man of very few words.

This story was about a search for "the Writing on the Wall," mentioned in the Book of Daniel. Everything about the trip to Babylon was dull, phony, and pointless. There are too many characters that don't matter, too many wild goose chases, too much filler. The once-exciting hero of the series, Michael Murphy, has become predictable and a real snooze, just like this book.
