As other readers of the series have said there was less action in this book. However the stutter in GA's dominance was refreshing and gave the author the chance to prompt us the readers to consider the push-pull of a strong military. Nice depth woven into good science fiction.

Another great one from Thomas DePrima. This one has lots of action in lots of different areas. All the stars are back except for the sisters. We've got Jenetta Carver, of counse, Capt Gavin, Lori Ashraf, Trader Vyx. Adm Holt, Barbara DeWitt, the Raiders, Vertap, her Mum and sisters-in-law. Not much on her sisters. DePrima should write a couple of books about them. There is naturally a new enemy and am old one coming back. And there is a new Jumaka. There are a few threads that are left unfinished for the next book.

I couldn't stop reading. Dang, I wish he would write faster.

This addition to the Galaxy Unknown was verbose and yet seemed light on content. There is a logical advancement of the existing storyline but I feel there could have been a deeper exploration of some aspects of events in general and two subplots were barely touched. But it's still a good read!
Cursed Command (Angel in the Whirlwind Book 3) :: Castle Vroman (A Galaxy Unknown) (Volume 6) :: A Galaxy Unknown: (A Galaxy Unknown, Book 1) :: Milor! (A Galaxy Unknown Book 5) :: The Sunday Times bestseller everyone is talking about

Each book builds nicely on the earlier stories. A very idealistic military organization with no budget problems, but satisfying nevertheless. DePrima adds a nice new challenge to each volume and the heroine achieves another victory, and you can't help but cheer all the way.

The story continues and still a pleasant and captivating story. Read it in 2 days. One would think that with so many sequels the story would get old but no.. Was really hard to stop reading even when my eyes just woudn't stay open.

Another excellent addition to the series. Although nothing is really new, everything the author excelled at in earlier books is present here, and I enjoyed the read. You can't ask for more than that. A few questions were left unanswered, such as the final fate of the poor human captives, but I guess we'll find out more in the next novel.

Fast paced with interesting twists and turns. The enemy is insurmountable then.........
Anyone who is a fan of sci-fi with a story line that has a heart should read the entire set.
When will the saga continue?

This was not my favorite book of the series (Castle Vroman is my favorite). The battle sequences were much less detailed, less strategic, and a whole lot shorter than previous books, but still a good book in the series. I eagerly anticipate the next book.

Another outstanding addition to the "a Galaxy Unknown" series. Once again Mr. DePrima has given us an interesting and entertaining story. New readers of this series should begin with the first book to get the full enjoyment of the story. OK, Mr. DePrima, your fans await the next installment.

A good book and like all other Galaxy Unknown it was a pleasure to read. However, this one in particular felt a little laid back. The chalange to the GA didnt feel as life threading as the others in the series and while I do like the good guys winning I feel it would be interesting to read the GA being knocked down a peg or two within the galactic community and our heroine not be able to have an answer to fix right away but rather have to find a solution that would take more time and possibly cause more damage before it gets better. Admiral Carver can't be invinsable but she always seems to find a way. It might be time to giver her a no win situation and let her pick the lesser of two evils. That's my two cents anyways.

Being involved in a family is what good stories are made of. I have enjoyed all of what I've read so far with out finding fault or criticism. I want more books so if Thomas D. Writes more his audience will grow.

Have been waiting what seems like forever, though it was indeed worth it. Only a couple things I would have like to had seen. Some sort of dialog with the new enemy, and for it to had been longer. However I can not wait for the next installment, my wait starts all over again now, should of milked it for another day or so. Thanks TJD! :D

I like these "space opera" books by DePrima, but he has begun to express his personal political views which disappoints me. It doesn't matter to me which viewpoint is taken, the author's personal political leanings are not appropriate in tomes of this nature. Just tell the story and leave out the propaganda. It's a good story.
