The storyline is kind of predictable but the characters reactions are real. Her relationship with her mother is sad but many people live that type of life. Sadly many rape victims blame themselves which makes the experience even worse.

This book should be a reading requirement for all young adult girls before going to college. This author wrote the important things that can and do happen and the choices you have. This is written in the perfect way in a not so perfect world. Encore.

I liked how this book shared one persons inner struggle. Not only with the rape, but finding out who she is and what she wants to stand for. This was a wonderful book with intriguing characters. I enjoyed reading this on my flight home from vacation.

This book is absolutely amazing and I cannot wait to read the next. This shows strength and courage with a girl who has been thru so much. But in the end she is stronger and has the love of her life standing beside her. Absolutely amazing author. A book you must read!!!

I really enjoyed this book. It focused on an issue that is often taboo in today's society. I love how Leigh Anne and Knox accepted each other's past and was able to work through it together. Good job Ms. Cannon.

Young college woman has had problems at college and has to come home and stand up for herself and not doing nothing like her parents want. A very brave woman standing on her own two feet. Enjoyed this book.

This was good but predictable. It felt like I have read this book before when I haven't. I really disliked LAs mom. That women has some issues. But I did enjoy LA and KNox together and they made the book worth reading for me.

I enjoyed reading this book. The characters, most of them, were relatable, the storyline interesting. I applaud Sarra for bringing her story to do many hopefully in spring other rape victims to do so as well.

This was a wonderfully written story that accurately depicts the struggle rape survivors have with the question of telling or not. I found it to be very emotionally engaging and I look forward to reading the rest of the series.

this is a great story about true character and overcoming heart breaking injustice. I found the excessive use of the F bomb to be more of a distraction than a benefit to the otherwIse well written story.

I really enjoyed this book, "the trouble with goodbye" by Sarra Cannon. As I was reading I would lose track of time because page after page there was so much interesting details and I could stop reading. I can't wait to read the next 3 books in this series. I love the ending and how it shows young women to push past your boundaries and to fight for that you want. As well as to believe in yourself. Amazing work Ms. Cannon.

Not my usual genre, but this is a compelling, deep story about how the past can catch up with you even when you try to run from it with everything you have. I found the whole book spellbinding and hard to put down. We know from the very first chapter that the main character, Leigh Anne, is hiding something when she comes back to her hometown after a prolonged absence, but what she's keeping back is really a powerful story in and of itself. When you combine that with the romance she begins with the new man in town, Knox, it creates a kind of perfect storm for the secrets that are coming back to haunt her.
I don't want to get into spoilers because I think they'd truly spoil what is a beautiful, gripping and moving book, but suffice to say that the Trouble With Goodbye is a really powerful tale that's definitely worth a read.
