The Golden Line was an amazing omegaverse story that only Addison Cain can bring us. It was compelling, addicting and so sexy. I couldn't get enough!

I loved the connection between Omega Morgaine and her alpha Simin. Their story was sexy and intense while also straddling the dubcon line like this author does so well. I loved the details the author provided to set the scenes ranging from Morgaine's nest to the alpha ships.

All in all this was a fantastic first book in the series and I can't wait for more! 4 stars! ~Ratula

All Hail Simin the best alpha in omegaverse land. So ok I might have a small case of hero worship going on. My oh my that male should give lessons to the other alphas in this book. Simin is as fierce as you would expect but loving with Morgaine. He actually put her needs above his own. And believe me after all that she went through she needed an alpha just like Simin. I can think of a few alphas I am hoping get their just desserts as this series continues. If you love an omegaverse storyline this one should absolutely delight you.

Recently I have grown out of the paranormal phase. Seeing as nothing had really caught my eye. But seeing as I have heard great things about this author. I decided to give it a try. I’m glad I did. I was engrossed in this book. Every word, line, chapter had me on the edge of my seat wanting more. When we reached ‘those parts’ I wanted to make phone calls and see who was available to relieve an ache I had. Not only was this book riveting but I cannot wait to read more of what this author has in store for us. - By Vanessa

Morgaine had no choice this time when the alien Alphas visited her village this time around - she couldn’t hide from them any longer and too much was at stake.

Now at their utter mercy and control, she is in for an even more real fight for survival. She has no idea what is in store for her, but there are Alphas who are willing to put everything on the line for her, a mere Omega.

A captivating intro to a fabulous brand-new Omegaverse series from one of my favorite authors of this genre!

Addison Cain has done it again. Yet another fantastic book in the Omegaverse world!

This is a fantastic story of Morgaine's journey in finding out that she is the Heidron Simin Gralloch kor'yr. A definite must read to find the lengths Simin will do to earn Morgaine's trust and to make her his. The story is incredibly well written, with great chemistry and some hot scenes! You have to read this book to read Morgaine's fierceness self and Simin's being all Alpha and gentleness!

Having read literally hundreds of books about alien romance ( and scrapping more than half at less than the halfway point for grammatically incorrect, unoriginal tripe) I loved this book. Fantastic delivery by the author of this first installment in what I hope will be a series well worth following. Thank you, Addison Caine, for such a good book. I am excited to see what comes next. While I wait for book two, I plan to read more of what you already have out. Thanx again!

Perfect. Another story that completely kidnapped and enslaved me. Addison Cain did it again. Her steamy dark omegaverse stories get better and better, I didn't even know this was possible. How is it possible to perfect perfection? Addison Cain, your work is beyond amazing...your stories suck me in and break my heart when I'm done reading because I know I have such a long wait until you finish another masterpiece. Please don't make us wait long for another omegaverse.

I really liked this one.
It felt realistic, I mean come on, a girl gets kidnapped and her mom branded, if she had fallen all over herself for them it wouldn't have felt real.

The ending was decent, kind of abrupt, but still okay.

It's the love and care that the Alpha put into his Omega that made my heart swell, it felt like real love, not some selfish assumption that alot of these types of books make the Alpha's out to be.

Man!!! After the first couple of chapters I wanted the girl to slit her own throat. Yeah it’s dark. And the end ... it was a happy ending... it was pretty decent plot. But way too much playing with “certain fluids” it wasn’t needed and was kinda gross. Made me think people were kinda funky smelling. I kinda wanna read the next one but not if he’s gonna play in his jizz and some of the naughty scenes were a bit silly and I had to reread

Another take on a new Omegaverse world by none other than the Queen of Omegaverse, Ms Addison Cain. I don't know how she does it, but all her Alphas are unique even though they share the general characteristics of an Alpha. In this story we see a more empathetic, compassionate and dare I say sweet Alpha. I loved the way he gained his Omega's love and trust after her horrific experience with Alphas from another planet. Highly recommend this book!

This book was interesting from first page. You couldn't help but wonder what will happen, and everything you think will happen doesn't, and makes you cheer.

Addison Cain did amazing job with this book, and I loved it.

The story is about a young lady, and finding her way through everything that's thrown at her. You can't help but feel for her.

I really enjoyed this and recommend it. Wtmo

The golden line was a phenomenal read! Again Addison Cain just blows me away with her attention to details and her style of writing. I loved the character development and relationship building. The plot of this story was so not what I expected from Cain. She has found that perfect balance of dark and sweet, which creates a unique and intriguing story for her readers. Finding the balance in this genre is not easy and Addison Cain as usual delivered. I have been reading Cain’s books for a long time and this is by far my favorite book of hers! Highly recommended!

Forget Alphas who take first and ask later, Addison has created a near perfect Alpha in Simin. He is charming, charismatic, and is willing to give up his mate, Morgaine, in order for her to feel safe and happy. Morgaine may have been the heroine in the story, however Simin stole the spotlight without trying and showcased how awesome Alphas can be. I would have loved for more story, I couldn't believe it was over so fast as I so thoroughly enjoyed their journey. I am anxiously awaiting book 2, as I know Simin and Morgaine will make appearances and I would love to hear more about these characters.

Where to start? Golden line is basically about and omega and an alpha who can't communicate with one another verbally, yet still manage to connect on a basic level. The heroine looks as being an omega as a curse and hates all alphas until she meets her alpha. It was interesting to read, but I personally grew bored with the repetitive usage of some very interesting words.....

Morgaine's life is brutally changed when she is taken by the Alphas and declared to be an Omega. She is brutalized and terrified of the life they offer her.

This starts off very dark and it is hard to watch her suffer so much. She loves her mother and hates being separated. She tries so hard to stay strong. The story takes a surprising turn that I really enjoyed.

I recommend this story if you enjoy a darker read. It really captures your attention and keeps you riveted wondering what is next.

I am voluntarily reviewing a copy I received.

Beautiful, intricate, intriguing and engrossing, the layers of this story will capture your imagination and keep you reading till it's over. I was hooked from the start and it just kept growing with deeper levels of the story. When Evie gets captured, I felt all kinds of sad for her. She was almost resigned to that base life that the Alphas had planned for her. When the story turns, it gets better, deeper and more intense. I'm not going to give the story away. Suffice it to say that it ends better than it began and I can't wait to read the next book from this author.

So, I realise Omegaverse books are "dark fantasy" and all. I've been sucked into them even though I'm not a fan of this sort or thing, unless the author(s) take some personal responsibility and advocate (at least in a forward or something) what an actual power exchange is support to look like, verses the clear abuse that is depicted in these stories.
The author writes exceptionally well, and I'm happy to have found one book that actually has some form of romance and happily-ever-after(ish).
Out of all her work, this is my favorite to date.

This is another five star book for the author. Unlike her other books, this seemed to have a lot more twists and turns that kept me guessing. The pace was perfect, it wasn't non stop action, but enough to keep it interesting. It's tough to describe most of the characters as likeable, with Morgaine being the exception, but all the characters were definitely well written. I really liked the ending, it was a little light for this author, but worked well with the story. It definitely left me looking forward to the next book.

Addison Caine has gone another route with her Apha's! And it's exciting to see a reverse in character emotion! Instead of the omega becoming attached to the Alpha, we get an Apha who TRULY loves his omega!! Not as just a possession or prize to have but loves her as a sole mate!!! In the beginning my heart was sad to see how Morgaine was being treated by so called "caring" Alpha's. Can we say hypocrites? But of course in Caine's books this just adds to the juiciness of the the story. When Simin enters the picture it takes on another turn! Hard as it was for Morgaine to accept Simin due to her treatment by the other Apha's, she was able to develop true feelings for him as he courted her. Can you believe it? An Alpha courted an omega out of love?!? This out Golden Line in a new category in my eyes, but I can't wait to read more about the development in their relationship and to learn Etaine's fate!

Wow. Addison has done it again! Another amazing book. I love the world she’s set up in this book. I could feel the heartache, the frustration and determination with reading and the writing of this story. Can’t wait for the next book!

Another great one. It’s a dark love. Love ripped down to the bare bones of love. If you can’t handle things being dark and sometimes questionable it’s not a read for you. You have to be able to open and free your mind. I want more though....please when?

Addison Cain’s omegaverse gets better and better. This is by far my favorite so far and I can’t wait to see what happens next. If you are curious about the dark sexy world in this author’s head , this is a great place to start. It has hot sexy Alpha males and strong resilient Omegas.

I generally love any writing by Addison Cain so it should come as no surprise that I enjoyed this book. While everything starts out typical for her books (dark, violent, frustrating) it really takes a turn and is handled so gently and so beautifully. Lovely quick read and I’m very interested in what book 2 is going to hold.

My second foray into an Addison Cain's omegaverse romance world. It's a pleasant journey, a satisfying, intriguing read, but nothing nail-biting dark. Dark romance tropes present cloaked in omegaverse world: virginal/omega self & sexual-discovery, heroine-in-need-of-rescuing, an alpha/omega courtship and good & bad alphas.

Spoliers ahead: There's an omega, Morgaine, who doesn't know what it means to be an omega ( i.e. "virgin" whose parents never gave her the sex talk). Morgaine only knows her simple farm life where the Nierran (the "bad" alphas) come and pillage food, supplies and "take" young males and females. Morgaine is captured by the Nierran and taken to their ship. It's here that readers discover the the Nierran may not be entirely "bad" alphas but definitely have misguided views on how to best revere and assist with our feral omega's self-discovery.

The Nierran are borderline sadists and keep many omegas as prostitutes until their "laws" allow an alpha to pair-bond with an omega, but really the Nierran seem to misunderstand omegas and the true nature of an alpha/omega relationship.

The Omari are the "good" alphas. And of course our naive heroine is rescued by the Omari prince, Simin, of course, unfortunately for Morgaine she fears she's been "taken" by savages not being "obedient" enough for the Nierran alphas. Morgan's omega-sexual-awakening occurs through the patient courtship between her and the Omari Prince, Simin. It's he who teaches Morgaine to understand the meaning of a true, exalted alpha/omega dynamic.
