Great story about Talon - thought her dad was dead all her life but discovers the truth not only after her dad really passes but also her mom. She meets up with her dad's lawyer to find out that he has left a house with some land and a diner. He was also a member of the CAOS motorcycle club. So when her cheating boyfriend and best friend make the decision of leaving Chicago easy for her she takes off to California. She meets Mick who was her father's best friend and fellow motorcycle club member. They hit is off really well and are drawn to one another. Great novella that is action-packed with club troubles, drug cartels, and finding out where loyalties lie.

*4.5 stars * Steamy romantic suspense with plenty of action and an MC theme. Talon seeks a fresh start in a new town after a betrayal by her best friend and ex-boyfriend. After discovering that the father she never knew left her an inheritance, she moves into her new home and begins running the diner, immersing her self in small-town life as she learns more about the man her mother prevented her from meeting. When she meets Mick, a member of her father's MC club, the sparks fly but can she accept the MC lifestyle, or will the risks involved endanger her too? A real page turner. I love everything KB writes and this is no exception. Also this is KB'S first MC book and please don't let it be your last. I am completely fangirling over this book. Talon is a spitfire - I like that she goes after what she wants and what she did to her ex and "friend" that's my type of heroine, one that doesn't necessarily need help and love but damn sure deserves it.

Talon is on my list of book boyfriends. He's the kind of guy women would sell their soul for.

Don't take my word for it but you owe it to yourself to read this book.

It was a great short read. I couldn't seem to put it down.

It starts out a bit sad with Talon but things soon turn around. It did seem like she trusted Mick a bit too quickly for someone who was just cheated on a few months prier. One thing that was great was that she didn't go looking for trouble. When Mick said someone may have killed her father but asked her to stay out of it... She did. Seems like lately in most books, the girl's don't listen and end up in trouble. It was great that it didn't happen that way in this book. I also really liked that after Mick and Talon were sort of together there wasn't a really sad part where she ends up hurt by him or something. It was great for that not to happen either. It left me waiting and excited for the next one. I can't want to read about what happens with Minx and Cash....

It also left me with some questions though... Like why did Talon's mom keep her from Magnus? Everybody had nothing but nice things to say about him. Why did she hide from him? Even when Talon's mom was dying, why didn't she tell Talon the truth? I would have liked for Talon to find a letter or something that answered that question... Great book though!!

Talon came home in afternoon in Chicago to her boyfriend and best friend having sex on her kitchen table. That makes up her mind to follow up on letters received about a diner and property left to her by an estranged father that she had never met, and heads to California. She meets Mick who was a friend of her fathers and they hit it off. Mick is a dream come true for Talon after her last boyfriend. No spoilers, but this book is a must read. A real page turner with intrigue, deceit, hot sex and of course a happily ever after.

Instant chemistry between the two hots up the action as the MC's dodgy dealings and internal loyalties add tension and intrigue to the story.

She meets Mick who thought of Magnus like a father. They were members of the CAOS MC. Mick and Talon have an instant attraction for each other and they work together to get information about who murdered Magnus. I really loved this book and can't wait for the next book in this series. She goes to her fathers home to see if she can discover who he was. She wasn't planning on finding a man like Mick who makes her life complete. They discover dark things happening in the MC and work together to solve their problems and find happiness together.
Great story captivating characters and an engaging plot you can't help finishing.

I voluntarily reviewed a copy of this short fast paced read the chemistry between Talon and Mick was sexy hot Talon is a real firecracker loved the banter back and forth with these two. Talon was Magnus's daughter she thought he was dead along time ago but she didn't realize he'd been looking for her before he died which saddened her she would love to have known him.This story is full of drama, suspense, humor, hot steamy romance and the secondary characters were great it's a must read crazy Torch needs his own story he was a terrific character in its story.

** spoiler alert ** Mick has just lost his mentor and father figure and now must complete finding his friends daughter. Talon has just lost her mother and now discovers that her now ex cheated. When their paths cross, will their common link bring them together or apart? Will Mick be able to get Talon safe?

LOVED this book! Loved how make no mistake, Mick was a big bad biker, he was still a softy when it came to Talon. Loved Talon's fiery personality. She had a sweet personality, but didn't take anyone's sh**. Great book and cannot wait for Cash's!

Talon meets with a lawyer about her father she thought dead. Turns out he died before he could find her. Talon heads home to talk to her boyfriend and finds him having sex with her best friend. She makes the decision to go to her fathers town where he has left her a house and diner. She meets Mick who turns out to to be her soul mate. The banter between them was funny as hell, she is a tough girl. I could not put this book down, I just told a little of the book you will definitely want to read it all. Oh, this is a good book! This girl, Talon, finds out right after her mother dies from cancer that her father just died. But she thought he had been dead for years! Turns out he had a house and Diner in a small town on the other side of the country that she inherits. So she goes to investigate and her world totally changes when she meets Mick, a member of her Dads MC. Terrific book! I totally enjoyed it! Highly recommend!

A little romance, a little intrigue, a lot of love and a whole bunch of hot sexy time is in store for you in this book. Yes, it is an MC story and yes, they are not necessarily good guys but these guys try the best they can to not be super bad guys. Talon learns her father was not dead as she'd always thought and once everything goes to heck in a handbasket back home, what better way to start a new life then to see her father's corner of the world. She never expected Mick. Insta-love? Sure...but sexy and chemistry a-plenty!

This book was amazing! Absolutely loved it. This was a quick read that is loaded with drama, danger, action and great characters....

Talon gets surprising but much needed news during a bad time in her life. When she sets out to check on the information she had been given she meets Mick. Mick and Talon quickly hit it off and the chemistry is hot.

When the man he considered as a father passed Mick tooked upon himself to find the daughter he never seen. Great first CAOS MC book. Steamy hot with no cheating, no cliff hanger and a HEA. This read is a little corny, very predictable, but a fairly light read. I use it, and others like it, to clear my mind after really heavy reads. So, in that respect, it was ok...dod the job I wanted. The characters are pretty interesting and this could be an amazing series, if the conversations weren't totally unbelievable. Hoping book 2 is better.

I loved it. The chemistry between Talon and Mick is great and flowing out of the pages. There are twists and drama from page one.
And it never gets boring. You just have to keep on reading to find out what happens next.

KB Winters blew expectations of this book out of this world. This MC book has a little bit of everything from betrayal, mystery, secrets, passion, shark, romance. The main characters as well as the secondary ones are very well developed. This book makes you hope and pray Ms. Winters continue this MC club into a long lasting series. Bravo! This story is fantastic! KB Winters has another great book on her hands. The storyline and characters are perfect. Talon is a gutsy girl and has her own opinion and Mick is trying to help her father by going to go get her. Overall, the story wasn’t terrible. I enjoyed the quick read. Talon & Mick had an insta love connection, making it hard for me to fall in love with them. But if insta love stories are your thing, you’ll be sure to love this quick story. It’s a great introduction for spin offs or more books in the series. Lots of characters introduced.

Mick is another amazing book of hers. I loved the story and the protagonists. The plot is fast-paced and the characters well-developed. Her writing style always draws you in and holds your attention to the end.

What a fantastic story! Full of danger, excitement, hot as Hades lust, love & loss and all the emotions that come with it, strong sassy smart sexy characters and a very well-written storyline that has the perfect HEA. I'm never disappointed with a KB Winters book!

MC. Talon believed her father to be dead for years only to discover he had been alive up until nine months ago and searching for her. He was a member of the CHAOS MC and left her property. Mick believes Talon's father's death was odd and plans to get to the bottom of it. He does not want Talon involved and pushes her away.

This story kicks ass!! I loved it!! Reading about Mick and Talon pulls you in from the beginning. Nick rides with her father with chaos MC but things don't add up about his death they go looking .awesome story
