To me, the first chapters of this books have been one of the most entertaining in a long time. Love the girls strong entertaining character. She's fun and spicy and just "out there" It's a long simmering romance but so much fun. And Gabriel? You will just fall in love with him. His tortured character and his vulnerability. I have read some of this authors previous books and I like them ok, but this one is by far the best.

I was hooked from the beginning, actually, from the 1st book when Scottie was first introduced! Such a talented writer who really brings you on this journey with well loved characters. Age does an the store job of creating not only the eat storyline and characters but also the relationships they share with each other. I look forward to others in the VIP series, especially Jax and Ry and Brenna!

Sunshine and his Chatty Girl. I enjoyed the first book in the IDOL VIP Series, but I loved this second book. One of the sexiest, most laugh out loud, heart-warming, and well written book I have ever read. A page turner for sure. Stayed up late to finish this one. Buy it, you will not be disappointed. I will never view plane rides the same again!!

Managed had me hooked from page one. I loved Gabriel and Sophie and could not get enough of their banter and chemistry. I highly recommend Managed to anyone looking for a slow burn love story. This is the second book in Kristen Callihan's VIP series but can be read as a standalone.

Gabriel and Sophie were so perfect for each other! Their banter was perfect and their chemistry was addicting. I loved the slow burn feel as they each got to known one another. I especially enjoyed Gabriel allowing himself to become vulnerable only to know that Sophie will take care of him, always. With writing that was greatly executed, Callihan delivers another 5 star read!

Love Love Love! I enjoyed the read very much. I liked all of the characters. The circumstances were plausible not so unrealistic that you were left rolling your eyes as I often do when reading. I felt their excitement and I felt their pain. This book had everything I look for in a romance novel. Wit, likable characters, angst, and great sex.

Light and easy reading. I love Kristen's books. I have them all actually. This is the kind of book I love to read. It's light but never boring! The author's writing is full of wit that makes the book very entertaining. The characters are so well written that they feel real and alive. A few typos made the book a little less than perfect but doesn't take away any of the story's appeal!

I really enjoyed this! The banter between Sophie and Gabriel was priceless; I was literally laughing out loud like a total loon. All the guys where present and also provided comic relief as well. This can totally be read as a standalone but, If you liked IDOL......read this, you'll love seeing uptight and totally serious "Scottie" get his HEA.........d;)

Gabriel was such a beautiful hero, who fought so hard not to fall in love, and Sophie was a strong woman who fought to keep him. I just absolutely loved this book. They actually TALKED out their problems. Sure, they had issues and fought, but they worked it out. Absolutely loved them!!! Funny, sweet and sexy, this book is a must read for romance lovers

Having met Scottie in 'Idol', I was immediately intrigued... he was a walking contradiction... hard yet soft, unapproachable yet perceptive. You wanted to hate him and hug him at the same time.
Sophie is observant and compassionate from the start - seeing his prickly and irritating arrogance for what it is... an (almost) impenetrable wall to disguise his vulnerabilities. Her irreverent humor and quirky personality allows her to slip past all his defenses, peeling back his masks until she reveals the real Gabriel.
This was an engaging addition to 'Idol' that I enjoyed from cover to cover. I loved going on tour with Kill John again and hanging with the band members. Thanks for letting us tag along, Ms. Callihan!

I was hesitant about starting the VIP SERIES, what a mistake that was. IDOL stole my heart, Liberty and Killian are funny and sweet and got me hooked. MANAGED had me laughing, made me swoon, broke my heart and put it back together. Gabriel and Sophie are opposites that belong together to make a perfect whole.
Five bloody fantastic stars!

Good story of Gabriel Scott, the manager of the rock band in Idol, Kill John, and Sophie Darling. The banter between these two was fun and I liked the slow burn between them. While not as mesmerizing to me as Idol was, it still had me rooting for these two to make it. Good story and rapport.

Om my word. Gabriel Scott- sexy British manager of Kill John. Oh loved this man and his sexy voice (the one I imagined in my head of course). And Sophie and her chatty self breaking down Gabriel's walls one brick at a time. This is a wonder second book in the series and I can't wait for the next one.

I absolutely love this book! Although this can be read alone, it is even better after reading VIP first. I read it first and then read VIP and had to reread this one just because I loved it so!
The author is wonderful at creating witty banter and lovable characters. I will be buying the paperback version for my bookcase soon.
I can honestly say I've found my book boyfriend and that's saying something! :)

The characters were fleshed out and real. The joy, laughter, headache, despair, and love was real. The jokes are awesome. The friendship and family with the supporting characters is a nice mesh and helps hold the story and take it along. Really want more stories about these boys.

Love, love loved this book. The heroine is funny, and what I love the most, someone I could imagine as REAL. I could totally see myself having coffee and laughing with her. She wasn't some weird heroine who dressed funny or had a ton of hang ups. The chemistry between her and the hero is palpable, and I also, like that they didn't move immediately to sex. Build-up is so much better when reading a romance.

I have been sitting on pins and needles waiting for Managed by Kristen Callihan to release. After reading Idol, I became very intrigued with Gabriel Scott. The man was a complete mystery. On the surface he is a suave, debonair gentleman. He is an extremely organized manager for the mega rock band Kill John. He handles their professional and personal lives with complete ease and extreme competence. On the surface he seems to be unapproachable and distant. He very rarely shows his emotions. But once in a while the exterior shell slips and lets some of his emotions bleed out. Those moments prove that he is very human. He is deeply dedicated to those he cares about. He will do anything for them. The guys from Kill John take this to heart. Scotty has been their devoted friend longer than their professional manager.
A long international flight with a zany woman sitting beside him is not how the unflappable Gabriel Scott intended to travel. He despises flying. He loathes being out of control. He booked two first class seats for a reason and now this zany woman is occupying one of them.
Sophie Darling is flying to London for a job interview. She's elated that she was bumped up to first class until the sexiest, stuffiest man sits beside her. She's not going to let this man deter her from enjoying all the perks that come from first class. Thus begins the downfall of the unflappable Gabriel Scott.
Sophie is being interviewed by Kill John to cover their social media. She has a bad history with Kill John. Her former job working for the paps has tarnished her relations with the band. Brenna James think she's capable of the job but it's up to the guys and Gabriel Scott.
Sophie lands the job with Kill John. What she thought was the greatest opportunity in her life pales in comparison to the new opportunity presenting itself. She is falling in love with Gabriel Scott. He needs her brand of crazy just as she needs his brand self control.
I am not going to say much else because of spoilers. I will say these characters were perfect for each other. The yin and yang. The dialogue was fun, sassy, snarky, and thought provoking. This book had a very emotional story that was delivered with a light hearted ease that made me enjoy every aspect of the book.
It was a pure DELIGHT! It was everything and more that I was hoping for! I am head over heels in love with Gabriel Scott. I want to be Sophie Darling.

I first came across Kristen Callihan's books when I read The Hook Up, the first book in her Game On series. I loved that series and was excited to see she had another series coming out. I enjoyed the first book in the VIP series, entitled Idol, so I pre-ordered Managed and was excitedly swept back in the world of musicians, love and lots of witty banter.
"'I wasn't prepared to need you this much. I don't know who I am anymore if you aren't with me.'"
Right away at the beginning of Managed, we meet our heroine, Sophie Darling, a social media expert who is flying to London to meet the band Kill John. She is surprised when she is upgraded to first-class and wastes no time experimenting with the amenities. Who should sit next to her but Gabriel (Scottie) Scott, the rich manager of Kill John, except she doesn't know this. He is extremely disgruntled to find out that he has a seatmate and his gruff, cold exterior and icy glares are wasted on Sophie who basically laughs at him. Sophie isn't afraid to speak her mind and she throws Gabriel for a loop when he tends to keep everyone at arm's length but Sophie can't help but crawl under his skin.
When I first started Managed, I was hooked! The beginning of the book is very fast-paced and the banter between Sophie and Gabriel is hilarious. I can't tell you how many times I laughed out loud! Kristen Callihan definitely knows how to use sarcasm because there was quite a bit of it in this book and that made me happy. After about the first quarter of the book, I felt that the pace slowed down and I had a hard time staying focused on the story but then the last 15% or so picked back up. I also noticed a number of spelling/grammatical/editorial errors that frustrated my English major background a bit but those could also be fixed.
Overall, I liked this book but didn't love it. I started out extremely engaged but became disinterested when the story seemed to drag on; however, the ending got me hooked again. I'd still recommend reading Managed if you have enjoyed Kristen Callihan's other novels and suggest reading Idol first if you haven't since the events that happen in Managed follow some of the events in Idol.

Definite 5 stars. I fell in love with Sophie and Gabriel in the first few pages. They were made for each other. I love how she broke through Gabriel's walls and loved him for who he was. Both books in this series are fabulous!!

Ms. Callahan is a fun read. Her characters are so darn appealing Their strong points strong and their weak points poignant. I could read her all day long! Love the quick wit she shows. I agonize, sweat and cheer for all her characters Now when does jack get his story. Or is it out there already?
