The Bushcraft Field Guide to Trapping - and Cooking in the Wild

Real good book. I bought it to give away for my family's Christmas gift exchange, along with a survival type knife. People were fighting over it. My cousin, who is a prep'er ended up with it. And to be honest, I read a bunch of it before wrapping it up with Christmas paper.

A worthy book and worth the purchase. Some of the information I already knew, but not all and I expected that. Dave put some great information into this book and it's a great and welcomed addition to my library. Thank you Dave for another good book.

Very useful and informative book to keep on hand. Im sure everyone can learn something from it. One day, you may not have many resources available to you to research survival techniques. Good book to have on hand in case of an emergency situation. And, it is a great way to pass on knowledge, maybe to younger aspiring preppers for example. Theres also some interesting recipes, "mountain man breakfast" being my personal favorite. Thanks again for the life skills, Dave.

We are a huge fan of Dave Canterbury. This book is full of helpful information. It is a great addition to any outdoorsman's library. I preordered 2 of them. When I received the email that they would be shipping, I got the good news that they would be even cheaper than I originally ordered them for!

I just read Dave Canterburys new Trapping, Gathering, and Cooking book.
This “cook” book is chock full of cool information!
Selecting gear, trail foods, recipes, cooking tips and techniques, cooking implements and cooking gear that you carry in and cooking in the field withOUT gear and how to do it!
It has a section on how to hunt and trap game,meat gathering methods, upland game, fish, frogs and everything in between. There is also FULL COLOR glossy pics to help id edible plants as well as “look a likes” for everyone's safety.
If you already have Bushcraft 101 and Advanced Bushcraft, this third installment is a MUST HAVE for your bookshelf.
This would be a GREAT gift for introducing someone into the world of outdoor cooking and its endless possibilities. This book just solidifies the meaning of truly “smoothing” it in the great outdoors.
