Shameless is a good conclusion to the White Lies Duet series that picks up where Provocative left off. There were some themes throughout the book that seemed redundant - almost to much of the same conversation. There was a lot of time that Nick and Faith spent talking about control within their relationship that I felt never got fully resolved. Normally that wouldn't bother me too much except for the fact Ms. Jones spends a lot of time making this a central point to who Nick and Faith are in Shameless.

That being said I do love the characters and the payoff at me at the end was well done. I thought the writing overall was fast paced and covered a lot of ground. I also enjoyed the relationships outside of Nick and Faith, we get to see Faith spend a lot of time with Chris and Sara which as a long time reader of Lisa Renee Jones was fantastic and I loved Rita. The dialog flowed so well it's something I love about Ms. Jones's writing style - she probably has some of the best dialog out there.

Overall I did enjoy Shameless and felt it was a good ending in the White Lies Duet.

So when I read the first book, Provocative, I really enjoyed the story line. The mystery, drama, suspense, and not to mention the chemistry between Nick and Faith made an enjoyable read. Needless to say I grabbed book 2 quick, fast and in a hurry. However, once reading book 2 I became really disappointed. I have read almost 50% of the book and I am extremely BORED. The sex scenes aren't as great, the dialog is too long and almost seems repetitive. I feel like Nick and Faith are always arguing about the same thing and it makes it seem like the book isn't going anywhere. I love the fact that Lisa Renee Jones did not want to rush the book, but at the same time I feel like she began to run out of ideas so now she's just trying to stretch the story line. It's not working for me. I will TRY and finish the book only because I really want to know the answer to the mystery, but I am still disappointed.

This is the second installment of the White Lies Duet.
I feel like this story is just an extension of Inside Out, Careless Whispers, Secret Life of Amy Benson series. Yes, the characters are different but the foundation of the story is basically the same. Control and the NEED to have it. Don’t get me wrong, the story was great, I wanted a little more with it. I wanted a twist that I didn’t see coming. But again, it did not take away from a great story.
So with that being said…
The story picks up right where Provocative left off. Faith and Nick are having a bit of trust issues. Nick knows in his gut that Faith did not kill his father nor her mother. At first, he set out to take her down because all signs pointed to Faith being a murderer. But after a little time of getting to know her, Nick quickly realized Faith could not be that person. So Nick changed the game, know he is protecting Faith before harm comes her way.

The conclusion to Nick and Faith's story was just as Provocative as their beginning. ;-)

The start of their relationship was built on suspicion, lies an intense attraction. While Faith begins to let down her guard and give herself fully to Nick, Nick is doing everything he can to protect Faith from possible dangers while trying to get to the truth that brought him to her in the first place...but while he's getting all of Faith, she still doesn't have all of him.

And while Nick is keeping his secrets and as he supports Faith's new success in the art world, their bond and love grows beyond what either expected.

Shameless is another wonderfully written novel that worked up all my senses and kept me intrigued from start to finish. Lisa Renee Jones has captivated me with another one of her suspenseful masterpieces. And for those Inside Out fans...Chris and Sara make appearances. :-D

Faith loves to paint and her dreams are coming true. The winery on the other hand is being targeted and Nick is trying to figure out why. In this book we learn more about the deaths of her mother and his father. Nick relies it was murder and everything comes together. Will the lies and secrets overpower the love they have for one another? In the end they find out who is behind everything for the winery. This book kept me on my toes and guessing who is part of the destruction of the winery. This book is a must read and amazing. I couldn’t put this book down. I needed to find out what was going on and Lisa Renee Jones definitely didn’t disappoint. Absolutely amazing.

Awesome conclusion to the White Lies Duet. The story continues where we left off with Nick and Faith. Things are still unresolved on many levels and Jones builds the suspense until the finales.

Nick is still as dashing, sexy, and illusive. Faith is resolving her issues but Nick isn't making it easy. As the tension builds with the winery, Nick and Faith are tested at many levels.

I love the relationship between Nick and Faith. They are so burning hot together and Nick is the ultimate alpha we all want to wake up to. This is another sensational story I didn't want to put down.

Shameless is the conclusion to Nick and Faith'sstory. It was a better story than the first book, but I didn't like how Faith found out the reason why Nick had gotten into her life in the first place. I would have liked seeing them work  together to find out all the answers Nick was looking for. Now that Nick an Faith have a steady relationship things are flowing easily and I liked them together. They are a good couple. I loved seeing Sara and Chris together. I missed them. We see them quite a lot which is a bonus. Mark is also mentioned. I feel like he was cheated when he got only a book. We need at least one novella. I am hoping we will see Nick and Faith in another book.

Nick and Faith's rollercoaster story continues in book two and what a journey these two have been on.
Nick is still trying to find out the truth about his father's death one thing he can't believe is that Faith is dangerous. Faith still doesn't know the truth about why she met the man she is slowly falling in love with.
This story is a mystery that has so many twists and turns and lots of secrets. I really enjoyed this duet mainly because I loved Nick and Faith so much. I felt this one was too long in places there was too much back and forth and parts were repetitive but I still enjoyed the story.

I received this book with the understanding that I could leave a voluntary and honest review.

This book is not a stand alone it is a continuation in this series. You should read Provocation first to truly understand this book. I will say this book is another amazing hit by this author. It will have you hooked from the first word to the very end.

There is so much I want to say about this book but don't want to ruin any of the twists in it for any other readers. I will say this is an amazing book that will have you on the edge of your seat the whole way through. I would highly recommend this book to anyone and everyone.

Mystery solved as to what happened to Nathan Marks and Meredith Winter father and mother respectively to hero and heroine, Nick Rogers and Faith Winters. Enjoyed this book 2 better than book 1 of the romantic suspense. So many possible suspects and lies to sift through. Liked how Faith found her artistic voice and growth. She was always strong and no nonsense and she displayed this even more in the second book. Look forward to reading Sara and Chris story as they were secondary characters but pretty prominent in both books.

Lisa Renee Jones never ceases to amazes with her books time and again. She certainly blew it out of the park with SHAMELESS, the conclusion to this amazing duet. Nick Rogers is my favorite dirty talker ever and I absolutely loved him! Nicky and Faith just could not keep away from each other- I adored their chemistry. I just had to keep reading till the very end since the suspense about killed me! The secrets and the web of lies just keep getting more and more interesting. I absolutely cannot wait for what she bring us next, I'll be waiting not so patiently till then!

The complicated plot gradually unfolds in book two. Nick is afraid to reveal his secrets to Faith, fearing she would leave him. Things are going surprisingly well for Faith's artistic career and her relationship with Nick. Behind the scenes Nick is still investigating what he believes to be the murders of his father and her mother and it all ties back to someone wanting the winery so much that they are willing to kill for it. I felt the story paced events much better in book two.

You absolutely must start by reading Provocative, the first book in the White Lies Duet. Despite taking me a little while to get into the first book, I thoroughly enjoyed it and was hooked.

Shameless picks up where we're left hanging and Nick is as controlling as ever but he's slowly getting to know Faith, despite her default negativity. But Faith is changing too. With outside influences both pushing and pulling them apart, it's hard to know whether they'll both survive.

This book is well written and kept me hooked. I'd highly recommend this duet to anyone looking for a fun story with a thriller element, a hot alpha man and enough drama and twists to make it a page turner.

God, I’ve been waiting for the conclusion of the White Lies Duet rather impatiently! I had to know what happened. Were Nick’s father’s and Faith’s mother’s deaths tied together? What’s the truth behind the missing money? What’s going to happen when all the lies and the truths are revealed?

And in Shameless we find out everything and it’s told through typical Lisa Renee Jones brilliance.

And this review will reveal nothing. Nothing. You have to read it to experience it all. The thrill. The romance. The heat. The hurt. The love. The obsession. Everything.

What a great conclusion to this duet. This conclusion in the duet was just perfect and while I had to dive in immediately after finishing book one this one kept my attention just as strongly as the first duet. The hurt, angst and steam between the characters is just as strong as the first book and I think both narrators did a great job bringing these characters to life.

Amazing conclusion to this duet! It has plenty of angst and drama! Nick and Faith are perfect for each other. Even when lies try to keep them apart they fight. I love the cameo by Chris & Sara Merit! I would love another intersecting story that includes these characters. Like maybe Abel...

First time with this author and am extremely pleased. I seldom give 5 stars. Both books in this series were interesting and keep me guessing until the end. Nick and Faith certainly did have some hot sex scenes. Enjoyed it all. Going to go find more by this author!

The suspense and mystery deepen and surround Faith with danger. Nick does everthing in his power to get answers and keep her safe. Meanwhile Faith's career really takes off and her paintings take on a whole new dimension with Nick as her inspiration. Trust doesn't come easy and he still has not come completely clean about the reasons he first came looking for her. Secrets will come back to haunt him.

Nick and Faith together are so intense. Lisa Renee Jones has written a sensually passionate love story about two indomitable characters who find love in the midst of intrigue and chaos.

This book is continuation of Provocative book. In this book, Faith's artist career is blossoming. She wins a prestigious award and changes who manages her career. The past cannot be forgotten though. Her mother is dead and now an uncle her father loathed is trying to get in her life. At same time, she's falling head over heels in love with Nick but he's holding on to secrets of his own. When those secrets are exposed will Faith and Nick still have a future? Will the past put an end to their future? Amazing book!

This is a must read! You should definitely read Provocative first, it starts the story.
Nick Rogers, aka Tiger, is known for his ruthlessness as an Attorney. His is also just as dominant in all parts of his life. He has some more secrets to unfold. Faith Winters is a upcoming Artist and now the owner of her Family's Winery. She need to find a balance between the two. This couple is electric when around each other. Will they be able to put the past behind them? Will the secrets destroy the bond they created? Now you have to read it!! ?
This is one hot book. Lisa does not disappoint. If you are not a fan of dirty words or actions, this may not be the book for you. I love it and recommend this book to everyone ?

After Provocative left us with some unanswered questions, I couldn't wait to read Shameless! Shameless didn't quite blow me away the way Provocative did, but I still really enjoyed it. It was an excellent read and I truly loved it!

I'm not going to do a separate paragraph for Faith and Nick as usual because I don't feel like I need to. They had their frustrating moments, but it was never that serious. They are a great pair; Faith and Nick are so in tune with each other, they are undeniably in love, and completely protective of and loyal to each other. They both grew stronger together and I love Nick and Faith every bit as much - even a little more - than I did before!

I'm sure the reason that I loved Provocative more than Shameless is because the former was easier to read than the latter. And it's not that Shameless is angsty since it's really not, it's more of that I felt Nick and Faith dealt with a lot more issues and had times where it felt like their relationship was up in the air. Don't get me wrong, Provocative isn't a cakewalk, it was just more enjoyable to me as a reader. That doesn't mean that I can't appreciate Nick and Faith's relationship in Shameless, though, because I do and actually even more than before. All of their problems and their reactions really brought them to life and just made them more real. Shameless was suspenseful, steamy, wonderful, and I'm going to miss these characters - I hope to see them again!

Shameless must be read after Provocative, it's told from Nick and Faith's POV, and they do get their happily-ever-after.

Shameless had me speechless! You get everything thrown at you all at once. Shameless is power, controlling, and holds on to you like a pair of vice grips! Nick ,"Tiger", is brought to his knees in Shameless and Faith grows from book one. Remember you need to read Provocative first! You will start from where book one ends. I also say that Nick will lose a lot of control with Faith, except in the bedroom. Those scenes are hot and Nick will have you begging for more!

This book was written to perfection. I can see why Lisa made sure she took her time to write this book until it was almost release day. She could have not done it better! There are flashback scenes that she recaps perfectly. You see through these characters thoughts, and their emotions become your emotions. I was thrilled and screaming like a crazed fan girl when Chris and Sara were included in the story. And not just for a short visit, oh no! You get more.

I love revisiting old characters from the Inside Out series. I was happy that the White Lies Duet entwined with the series, but it also stood out on its own. I mean come on, this Nick "f'ing" Rogers we are talking about. So of course he is going to rip this story out and make it his! Faith surprised me as she was coming into herself. She finally stands on her own even with Nick by her side. The White Lies Duet was one of my favorite reads and it can be yours too! I love all of the characters as they have a huge place in my heart since the Inside Out series started. Every facet, every piece they bring to a reader, you will feel like you are part of something more!
