The Hellion and The Heartbreaker

I thoroughly enjoyed this beautiful love story. The passionate love stirred a lot of emotions as well as brought tears to my eyes. Love ultimately wins and brings true joy and happiness. I look forward to reading more of Jennifer McNare's books.

I just loved this story ,Scarlet was a wonderful character.I loved how she had her men wrapped around her fingers, yet she was sweet and loving.She was also sad in love for,her love wasn't returned. real good love story.

I liked the strong characters. The interaction of Scarlet and her brothers was heartwarming and made for a realistic story. I did get the urge to smack some sense into Alex for his rigid and unshakeable preconceptions about marriage. Lol

I really enjoyed this book. Scarlett is so innocent and spoiled that I had to laugh at her antics,at the same time feel for her.I can feel her innocent conviction that the duke will love her back,because she has always gotten her what she wanted.the book flowed well for me and the love story ended well.The most poignant time in the book came when she was in labor and the anguished her brother was going through knowing the most important person in his and his brothers' lives tether on the verge of death. Made me glad we live in this modern age of medicine where women rarely die from child birth.

I loved this read. I finished it in two settings, I didn't want to put it down. I loved how the story played out over several years. And who doesn't love a happy ending? A beautiful, suspenseful book.

This book made me laugh, cry, get excited, it was a page turner. The lead female was just really bold, but when raised with 4 dashing brothers, who wouldn't be. The sex was great, but not overdone. Generally a really good book worth reading.

Although you have a spoiled girl by 4 brothers, she knows what she wants. I enjoy regency romances and found this book of one of the better romances, enjoy reading Jennifer McNare books, this one was a keeper.

I read historical romance as a get-away. I prefer them when they have sexy parts in them as a means to build characters. This book was horrible. The main character was basically a self-centered shrew. It started out when she was young and transitions to when she is a teen and then to an adult with no real way of identifying that she had advanced five years later in both times (teen and adult). The main objective of the character was to get this Lord in any way she could and even though he is very worldly, he seems to be extremely dense where she is concerned. Consequently, she is able to get into his bed and have sex with him (numerous times) before I got halfway through the book. I can keep up with the best of them but I finally put this book down without finishing it because it was poorly written and there was no genuine story line. There's a reason why this book was either free or 0.99.

Disappointed,It could have been a good story but it is just stupidity on both sides and sex! She thinks she loves him. He has no intention of marrying her. He wants a loveless marriage! I have only gotten halfway though,I don't think I can finish it! She is 17, He takes her virginity right under his best friend,(her brother's nose in her brother's house.) Then continues after she moves to London for her first season! She is foolish and he has no conscience. I finished it, Not as bad as I feared but hard to believe . Not realistic. It does not fit the times.

This author definitely has the "it" that is required for the sensual historical romance. "Until You" is a must read right along with this story. The character and story development are superb. Those that do not truly appreciate the romance genre may not get "it" and may even feel the story and/or the characters are unrealistic or frustrating, but if you are a romance fan, you will have found another keeper, one you can't put down, one that will bring a tear to your eye, a smile on your face, or an ache in your heart. If you love LOVE, you will enjoy this handsome Duke and The Scarlet Angel, and the McPhearson brothers. A true delight!

Pretty good read. The heroine is great fun to read about. He keeps the story going. The hero plays a good straight man which makes for some fun times. The brothers are great and just as full as the hero and heroine.
