I enjoyed the continued mystery of this novel. I had pieces of it figured out throughout the story, but also continued to guess as the facts continued to be revealed. I enjoyed the author's style and spirit as the book moved on. Overall a great read for me.

I liked this book. Katie is a character of great courage and determination. The ending prevented five stars.

I find it hard to believe that federal marshals would allow someone from the witness protection program and her boyfriend to confront a rogue agent of terror without the help of federal agents. It is also quite a stretch to think that her lover would sleep through Katie's departure on what was probably the most important day of her life after he had stuck to her like glue up to this point. Yes, the author brings in the feds in the end, but this is AFTER she is looking down the barrel of a 57 Magnum. I thought the idea of throwing a snowball at a fence to see if it was electrified was...kind of stupid. That would not work.

Loved this book! It caught my attention from the very beginning and was hard to put the book down. I also like that it had the same characters as kidnapped but each book could defintely be read without reading the other one. Both were great!
Addiction (The Hunted Series Book 2) :: Hunted (Hostage Rescue Team Series Book 3) :: HUNTED ON THE FENS a gripping crime thriller full of twists :: a New Adult Fantasy Novel (The Baine Chronicles Book 3) :: Hunted by the Dragon Duke (Dragon's Council Book 1)

Loved this book from start to finish. Grabbed me on the first page, which is a must. I was looking for a good thriller and a little romance and this book was rich with both. Romance portion was perfect for my tastes. Plenty of heat, but left something to my imagnation.

Hunted is a suspense/romance book where the main character, Katie was in witness protection for the past ten years after providing incriminating evidence against the paramilitary cult which she was a part of. As a result of her testimony, the cult leader was given the death penalty. With the leader's impending execution, Katie received several death threats and desperation forced her to turn to Matt, a by-the-book patrolman for help. Katie and Matt were attempting to stay alive while trying to figure out who was trying to kill Katie. Katie was a brave, self sufficient and determined heroine who was lonely and scarred from the multiple abuses inflicted by the cult leader. Matt was very protective of Katie. The book could have been better if the writer paid more attention to editing. I am not talking only about typos. For example, Katie was hiding in a hospital while waiting for the Marshall but there was a sentence that incorrectly stated that she was hiding in a hotel room.

Love this book and the first one. The characters are so real and Matt is to die for. There is danger and suspense which is very well done and of course passion and romance. Kind of wish there was more sex but an excellent book regardless. Definitely read this one.

Highly Recommend this book to anyone who likes a good suspense book. Very well written, there were no "fillers" and there was no way I could put the book down. Just like all the other ones she has written.

After reading "Kidnapped" and thoroughly enjoying it, I was eager for Ms. Ferrell's next book to arrive. "Hunted" lived up to my expectations and beyond. So many romances have very little plot and poor character development, but this book has an intense, fast moving plot and well developed characters that draw you in. It is part thriller, part romance and just plain good all the way around. I was dissapointed to have it end, but look forward to the next book that Ms. Ferrell will write.

The characters and storyline are underdeveloped and characters unbelievable. Sara is so tough to have endured so much
abuse and survived on her own for years, when suddenly she accepts and submits to the direction of a stranger?
I found this book to be a tedious fantasy that I could not force myself to finish. Sorry to be so harsh….
Thanks anyway.

Ms. Ferrell continues the Edgars Family story with a spell binding, you can't put it down, suspense filled romance! Matt Edgars and his brothers come together to help nurse Katie Myers. A woman whose past is littered with pain and tragedy, but a fighter and survivor through it all.
This spell binder finds Katie in the cross hairs of the angel of retribution of a defunct militia like cult. The leader, on death row, is Katie's step father. He wants revenge from the woman that put him there.
The threads of this thriller wrap around you and pull you in to the world of terrorism, US Marshals, betrayal, and vengeance. It is definitely a book hangover type of book, because once you start, you don't want to put it down. It's well worth five stars, and if they'd let me, I'd give it more!

If you liked Ms. Ferrell's first book, KIDNAPPED, you will love this one, too. Maybe even better.

In HUNTED, A nurse is caught in a sniper's cross hairs. She, and a wonderfully hot unsuspecting cop, are thrown together in this exciting adventure-on-the-run romance. The heroine seems a bit grouchy in the beginning, but with all that's happened it's easy to see why. Before long the action will carry you ripping through scene after scene. I really like the hero in this book. He's such a genuine and caring guy. And i like his strong sense of duty.

Ms Ferrell knows how to write a chase. Don't miss this cat and mouse suspense!

Enter Katie, a young woman in the Witness Protection program, who testified against her step-father, the leader of a militant cult bent on domestic terror and murder. Yet Katie escapes and The Prophet goes to jail. End of story, right? No. Ten years later, The Prophet is scheduled to be executed and someone is trying to kill Katie or at least scare her into reveling a secret that The Prophet must know before he dies. Who is after her and who can she trust-Matt, the by the book highway patrolman, Castello, the US Marshall in charge of her protection, Matt's brothers, anyone in the Marshall Service or even law enforcement? Katie's struggles with these questions and her growing attraction to Matt while trying to survive an assassin keeps this story moving at a brisk pace. Her is a strong female character who's used to taking care of herself but must also learn to trust others with her safety. As the reader learns more about Katie and what she has survived, you are also treated to a great romance, mystery, suspense story well worth the read.

Perfect blend of romance and suspense with characters that actually have some depth to them. This isn't quite as good as the previous book, "Kidnapped", but it's pretty darn close. "Hunted" actually features Matt Edgars, one of the brothers of Sam Edgars, the heroine from "Kidnapped". It was nice to get a little peek at what Sam and Jake from "Kidnapped" are up to now. But you certainly don't have to have read the first book in order to follow this one. They are 2 totally separate stories that happen to share a character, Luke, another brother I can only assume will be the subject of her next book.

I absolutely LOVED this book. I was hooked from the beginning, and I couldn't turn the pages fast enough. Katie is a great character and you feel immediate empathy for her and the situation she's in. When you throw in Matt...oh boy, do the sparks fly. This was just one action scene after another and the in between parts were so full of sexual tension that it scorched the pages. Ms. Ferrell knows how to write suspense, and I can't wait for her next book.
