Honestly, I got bored half way through this book. I finished but it was hard. I'm not saying it was badly written, because it's not, it just didn't keep me interested.

However, if your looking for a short read than give this shot.

This is a voluntary review of an advanced copy.

This romance story was not only filled with romance but drama and suspense. Ezra seemed like a party animal with no real direction in life until his Maker, Stephen orders him to find a bride. Kayla was not an easy person for me to like as she spent years living with her previous boyfriend and kept hoping that he would further their relationship. She also put up with a terrible boss hoping that she would get her big chance, and both these men didn’t treat her very well.

Fortunately, Kayla’s relationship with Ezra helps her to move on past her last relationship and in the end to move away from her dead end job. You can see the growth in Kayla as she commits to Ezra, starts her new job, and becomes a vampire. Ezra seems to have stopped the partying and settled down with Kayla but still don’t know what he does for a living.

I think that I really started to like Kayla when she would not leave Ezra when he was attacked by Robert, and showed that she can be a strong woman! Loved the drama with Ezra coming to rescue Kayla, and they realize that they don’t want a fake relationship any longer! Hope there is another vampire looking for a bride!

Ezra by anya nolan

Ezra a vampire that is being forced by his maker to find a bride and add to his line.
Kayla who needs a roommate fast as her boyfriend moved out on her and she needs help with the rent.

Ezra finds her ad on Craiglist and they meet. Out of the blue he tells her he is a vampire and he has to find a bride and turn her. Freaks out Kayla.

He is the perfect roommate. Pays upfront and even makes her breakfast.
He gets invited to her friends gathering by one of the friends swiping her phone and texting him.
They are having a blast getting to know each other then her ex walks in with his new girl friend.
Seth thinks Ezra is a co worker so Ezra gives him a what for and shows what she is to him.
My concern is she started out using Ezra as a way to a story and get a reporter job at work. She starts to care for him and decides to delete the story but gets interupted.
I have a feeling this is going to bite her in the azz.
So her ex shows up at her place and wants her back. This is just getting interesting.
People don't miss out on this one.

I voluntarily agreed to review this product. My review is entirely my own opinion.

I received an ARC and voluntarily choose to review.
I hope my reviews for Anya aren't going to start sounding boring because I love every one! This is the second in Anya's vampire series but it isn't a continuation and can be read completely as a standalone novel. None of the same characters are in this book as the first. In this book we have the douche ex boyfriend, the wronged husband to keep the story going. Then there's Ezra and Kayla. Once again Anya creates strong characters that are believable (even if they're vampires ?). You always want to know what happens to them and how they develop with the story. The story would appeal to fans of paranormal romance and normal romance as it's a story that is realistic and could well happen. Ok maybe not the 'speed-sneaking' but you know what I mean. Another huge thumbs up for this one!

I loved revisiting the world of vampires seeking their brides. This time it was Ezra's turn. I loved the fast moving pace of the storyline, and how everything worked out so well in the end. Was there drama? Was there intrigue? Was there steamy romance thrown in? Affirmative! ? If you like sexy vampires, who know how to use their, ummm, fangs, then this is the story for you. I did volunteer to read this great story and received an ARC in order to do so. Enjoy! I know I did!
