I expected a much better story line from a Little Blue Truck book. It is okay, still cute pictures and my son thinks it's alright. I love most of the other Little Blue Truck books and was disappointed in the creativity when I read this one.

This book is a sorry dissapointment, it feels like it's short on text and short on imagination. My twins had little interest in it as compared to the original, Christmas and city book. We were very much looking forward to it, but it just didn't hit the mark.... the yoo-hoo on every page is overused and underwhelming.... I'd skip this one.

Received it today..... damaged. Knowing my toddler it'll only get worse.

As for the story itself. It's different. It doesn't really read the same way as the other little blue truck books. Kind of disappointing.

One star for illustration and build quality, but this book is seriously lacking. We are huge fans of the Little Blue Truck series, but this book is a flop. Hardly any words and the words they do use are disinteresting. I wish we had seen this prior to pre-ordering.

My son loves this book! He's 3, but developmentally delayed and nonverbal. He loves trucks and animals so this is right up his alley. The illustrations are beautiful, and I appreciate that there are a lot of things to talk about, count, and try to say while we read together. We look for the animals behind the flaps, try to make the animal sounds, count the baby animals, and talk about what's happening on each page (where's the mommy cow? It looks like they're giving hugs! Can you find the bunny eating the carrot?) And of course the repetition of yoo-hoo and beep beep are great for kids still learning to talk.

**This book is geared more toward younger kids than the original Little Blue Truck book, which we also have. My son likes that one, but enjoys this one much more!

We LOVE the little blue truck books! They are our favorite! This one shocked me really.. there is no story! The illustrations are beautiful but I am in disbelief. I cant believe they would publish this as it is.My boys 2 and 5 were not interested in listening at all! Please write an engaging story in the next book, like Little Blue goes on a road trip to different landmarks! We would love that!

Two stars cos my two year old loves it. Otherwise I would just give it one. This book has the worst rhythmic cadence of any children's book I have ever read, which is very disappointing considering how the original Little Blue Truck book has one of the best. The other books haven't been as good as the original, but this one is just the epitome of how far the series has fallen. If another LBT book comes out after this, I won't be letting my kid near it out of fear of how bad it will be.

We absolutely love The Little Blue Truck series but Alice really mailed it in on this book. None of the original charm or wit. Bland storyline. My one year old walked away midway through the first reading. Avoid this book, people! Stick with the classic original and Little Blue Truck Leads the Way, which are both awesome.

I love these books, my son has the whole collection. He loves the animal sounds and how interactive it is with lifting up the flaps! Very cute story line of all of the animals having the babies in the spring!
