GHOST: Lords of Carnage MC Book 1

I received an Advance Reader Copy for Ghost - Lords Of Carnage MC and voluntarily reviewed this book. Jenna Abbott is forced to make the difficult choice to move back with her son Noah to her hometown, Tanner Springs, when she has nowhere else to go and no options left. She is now the tenant of a dark and dingy apartment, courtesy of her father, the town's mayor. Between her father and her brother, Gabriel, she has no hope of avoiding the inevitable...running into Cas "Ghost" Watkins. They have not set eyes on each other for five years, since she left town after one unforgettable night together. Then things become even more dicey financially when her creepy landlord demands rent payment, and she still cannot seem to find a job. When her brother suggests filling in for their current bartender at their MC club, however, will she just be adding yet another mistake to her already long list of regrets?

I loved this MC story! It was well written and the story flowed. It was steamy hot & so sweet, the chemistry together. Two people who did not know that they did have something good back then, only to find something even better when they gave the strong attraction they still have for each other another chance!

Daphne Loveling has written yet another awesome story simply called, “Ghost”. This story has a really good storyline with excellent characters who make you want to just jump into the story with them. I think all the characters were awesome even, “creepy Charlie”. I think that the story really took off when Charlie went off the deep end on poor Jenna. Jenna is another special character in this excellent motorcycle romance story!

Cas aka “Ghost” is another great character in this story! He starts the story off as a simple man in a motorcycle club and ends up much more than he started with. I can’t mention one detail without revealing details to the storyline that should be read from beginning to end!
I thought the story flowed beautifully!

I always knew who was talking and what connection the author was making with her words. I think the themes written into the story like, “family”. The reader saw evidence of this with several characters!!!

I think this story should absolutely receive 5+++++ stars!!!!!!!! Again, the story was great! The characters were fun!!!!!! I cannot wait to see if more will be written about some of the other characters in the story or even new ones!!!!!!

To watch a big bad biker , Motorcycle club member, all around bad boy that seriously gets around fall and fall hard, their are no words.
I melted, I am a swooning fool,high on Cas aka Ghost. This MC was pretty tame to some of the others I have read, it really put the main focus on
Cas and Jenna, who are both amazeballs.
Everyone had that unattainable crush on someone you shouldn't, Jenna's was Cas. They had this one night together five years ago and then Jenna went off to school,
with regrets. Regrets that it happened, regrets that she hasn't told Cas that he left her a parting gift. Jenna must come back to her hometown she is struggling and needs
help with money, her Dad the mayor hooks her up with a apartment. She finds a job as the bartender to the Lords of Carnage club house, where she has to face Cas.These two develop a relationship of hooking up that turn into something so much more.
Cas OMG when she tells her how he feels I was a puddle tears, it was beautiful. Jenna, girl the entire book I'm chanting TELL HIM, TELL HIM. I loved this story if you can't tell,
and I can't wait for more. I happily read this ARC to share all the love I have for Cas.

I'm a huge fan of Daphne Loveling books/series and although I enjoyed Casper/Ghost and Jenna's second chance I was left wanting more. Not really more of their story because I loved them together and finding out their past history but I wanted more character development in the MC brothers and what they are about. I would have liked more interaction with them so I'd have an idea who the next book would be about.
Other than that I thought Cas and Jenna were great together through in Jenna's 4 year old son Noah, just wow. I do however feel that someone would have noticed the resemblance between Cas and Noah and put two and two together even Cas himself. Reveal should have been a little sooner since the three of them spent so much time together albeit away from the club.
Looking forward to the rest of the series.

If you haven't read Daphne's other series Stone Kings MC now is the time before the next book in Lords of Carnage is released, you won't be disappointed.

Amazing! Daphne Loveling has come a LONG way since her first novel. You can tell she listens to her readers and makes changes accordingly. I couldn't put this one down! The plot was interesting with a good pace. It flowed smoothly throughout the book. The characters were strong and easily relatable. The chemistry between Cas a.k.a. Ghost and Jenna was off the charts, Cas' character was extremely well-developed. He was loyal and not afraid to speak his emotions. While Cas didn't know Noah was his son, I loved the fact that Jenna allowed them to spend time together. That bond was amazing to watch. Jenna was a little too immature in her decision making; however, I understand where she was coming from. Her future with Cas was uncertain. Of course, a talk with him could have alleviated some of issues she faced. This was a great read and one I will be purchasing for my personal Kindle library.

Casper Watkins is the Sergeant if arms for the Lords of Carnage MC and he's always had a thing for Jenny Abbott and she's all grown up. They have a very Hot steamy night together and then Jenna leaves town fours years later Jenna returns with her adorable 4yr. Noah with her she was having a difficult time of it . Jenna's brother Angel was part of the Lords of Carnage MC like her long ago lover Cas and Jenna has not told Cas about his son Noah . Jenna starts to work at the bar because one of the bartenders is out sick so she's filling in Cas is very possessive and jealous when other men are around Jenna he doesn't like it. Jenna father has some dirty business going on with another MC club which puts Jenna in danger. I voluntarily reviewed a copy if this book lover MC Romance this was a great read full if deception, betrayal and hopefully a second chance at long ago love and some very hot sexy sex scenes I highly recommend to read you won't be disappointed

Daphne Loveling has written a great book set in the world of MCs. Jenna and Cas along with a huge supporting cast of characters were well-written and completely believable. Conflict and drama were woven throughout the story encompassing many of the characters. The sex scenes between the couple were both steamy and loving. This isn't a story like so many lately that is just sex scenes with very little story. This is the complete package. I highly recommend reading this book. I'm looking forward to reading more from the Lords of Carnage series. Jenna's brother needs his story told as does Jewel. I can't wait! I want to know more about Jenna's mom...maybe she's really not dead and she's been with another MC this whole time held against her will with threats against her children if she goes against them. Drama, I love it!

I absolutely loved reading about Cas and Jenna! Cas is a bad boy biker, whose only family is the club. Jenna is a proud, single mom, down on her luck and back in her hometown. The chemistry between these two is absolute fire! I liked that they had a banter between them, and it wasn't just about the physical pleasures. The only thing I wish would have happened is that Jenna told Cas her secret a little earlier on. I find too often the bulk of the action in romance books happens in the last chapter or two. I would have liked some time to see the development of the secret being revealed. With that said, that little thing didn't change how much I enjoyed this book, or the characters. I just hope this is only the first book in a line of Lords of Carnage books!!

Five years ago Jenna left Tanner Springs to escape her crooked father and the Lords of Carnage MC but not before she had a one night fling with Cas. Cas is the Sergeant Of Arms for the MC and hasn’t forgotten about Jenna. After losing her job and having few options she is back in town with her son. With rent to pay and unable to find a job she accepts a bartender position at the MC bar which throws her and Cas together again. Their attraction is back stronger than ever however with the secrets and the dangers surrounding them is there any way for them to get a second chance? I loved the flow of the book and how protective and caring Cas was to his family and can’t wait for the next book in the series. I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book.

I almost stopped reading several times. Just because it’s an erotic read you can still write with taste. The main problem I had was the repeated use of GD. I can take the other language with no problem but this was a big issue with me. Sorry.

This is the second series I’ve started by Daphne Loveling. I’m so excited to go to the next book! I’ve really found a new favorite author.

Ghost is part of an MC that has a big presence in town. Jenna is the mayors wayward daughter who returns home jobless and down on her luck. As she and Ghost cross paths again they find their teenage fling may have been more than they both thought.

I love a second chance romance! This one doesn’t disappoint! If you haven’t read any of Daphne’s books, I highly suggest starting here.

Their is nothing better than reading about a single mom getting her happily ever after, especially when it includes a sexy tall tattooed biker. Jenna is a single mom with a secret she has kept for almost five years from her family and a man whom she has loved from afar. Cas is a man who has always had the thoughts of a special woman at the back of his mind. When Jenna and Cas come into each others lives again, things really start to take off for the best. I loved everything about this book, can't wait to read the rest of the books in this series.

I really liked this book. More so than I thought I would. Loved the mystery and Cas (Ghost) was just adorable. Such a stand up guy! Jenna and Cas had a night together about 5 yrs ago. Jenna went off to college but was pregnant. 5 yrs later, Jenna is having to come home since she needs money and some help finding a job. Her brother is in an MC and so is Cas. The flashbacks were interesting and enriched the story. Won't go into details as you should read the book but I liked the mystery and how these two found each other again. Cas & Jenna have secretly always wanted each other and one night before she leaves for college they gave a night that will change their lives forever. Secrets always have a way of coming out and Henba can't keep her secret anymore now that she is coming back to town. Cas can't get Jenna out of his head and the feelings are mutual. I really enjoyed Cas & Jenna together, their story flowed good and was glad that Cas didn't exploded once he found out what Jenna was hiding and was very understanding. Perfect ending for Cas & Jenna. Hoping their will be another book, hopefully Angel's story

Daphne Loveling delivers again with another stunning story that is full of angst, passion, a little fear and some good lovin. Jenna moves back to her hometown, where she swore she would never return, trying to get back up on her feet for her and her son. Cas is a member of the Lords of Carnage MC and they had a one night stand years ago. After reuniting, the passion just explodes from the page. It's ok book. Kinda goes to fast and unrealistic. I don't know why the books description says that the MC took her father and her brother from her. Both men are alive and her brother is very much a part of her life. I will read the second book an give this author another try.

I received an ARC in exchange for an honest review. Holy crap this book is hot and feisty and so loveable as well, the chemistry between Cas aka Ghost and Jenna is way off the charts!!!! When Jenna and her 4 year old son are force to move back to her home town she takes on a bartender job at the MC where her brother Angel is the vp and Noah's father Cas is a member, this gives Jenna and Cas a chance to reconnect. When some shady dealings involving Jenna and Angel's father put Jenna and Noah in danger things become clearer between Jenna and Cas.

He doesn't know that the child is his. But the old feelings are still there and the flame is burning just as hot as it once was. Can they get over the past and can Ghost accept the fact that she never told him about their child? Great second chance romance with lots of action. Can't wait to read more about these characters.

It surprised me how quick all rules Jenna allowed Casper "Ghost" back into her life. Especially with the enormous secret she was keeping from him. However, right from the beginning we see how the attraction is too much for them to handle without acting on it. There is a lot of secrets in this book. It seems like the only one not holding back is the biker! It's not a very dark novel, so don't expect the same old mc story from Ghost. It has some darker themes and a few surprises, including a lot of steamy scenes!

This story is a small town, second chance, secret baby, MC romance all rolled into one with a bit of suspense wrapped around it.

The main story is about Jenna Abbott and Casper Watkins, aka Ghost, reconnecting after five years apart. Jenna left Tanner Springs the day after a one time fling with Cas. They’d danced around their attraction that summer until Jenna’s resistance melted away which lead to one night of the hottest sex. She regrets she ever started something with Cas since she had another plan in mind. A plan that included escaping the small town of Tanner Springs, her father, the mayor whose illicit dealings overshadowed his political position, and the Lords of Carnage MC, the local biker club who owned the town.

Jenna had her reasons for staying away, keeping the secret she’s kept all those years. Because trapping him is the last thing she wants for Cas. He’s the sergeant at arms for the outlaw MC and Jenna wants nothing to do with them. But Jenna’s reflection of her life as a string of bad mistakes eventually leads her back to Tanner Springs, broke and jobless.

Ghost never forgot Jenna, and now that she’s back, he’s not going to lose her again. The spark reignites between them and the chemistry is undeniable. Cas always wanted a family and he wants Jenna and her son under his protection. It was nice to see how natural Cas is with Noah and their interaction together. But there is trouble brewing with a rival MC gang, a sneaky neighbor, and the mayor. Will we find out more about the death of Jenna’s mother in the next book?

Ghost will keep you engrossed until the end. Ms. Loveling’s writing is fluid making this book a quick read and very enjoyable. The unanswered questions in regards to the trouble Lords of Carnage MC face, and possible betrayal of it’s members, and an unsolved death may come in the following books in the series.

First time reading this author & wow was I excited!!!! The characters are great!! But what I truly enjoyed...all the characters are great...they all have their own fun quirks & I can't wait to learn more about them all! Ghost & Jenna have a different kind of story...I laughed, cried & WOW was it HOT!!! HEA YEAH!!! NO cliffhanger YEAH!!! I am totally addicted to this series!! If you like hot alpha mc books this one is for you...you won't be disappointed.

This is th story of Cas "Ghost" and Jenna. They shared the last night Jenna was home in her small town together and the next day she was gone. Jenna returns several years later to her home town with a secret. Cas and Jenna have a second chance at their love story. I had some difficulty with Jenna keeping her secret from Cas for so long but all in all it was a good story. I would recommend this book.

Love the plot, the character connection. Ghost and Jenna has a past and she has to come back home they find out past feeling are still strong. Family drama, lies and betrayal this book is full of excitement. Didn't like they way Jenna was pawning her child off it felt like she was using every excuse not to be a mother. Hopefully Angel gets a book his character was very intriguing.

I love this MC story where darkness meets light. Tanner springs is home to two people that were separated by a mistake or so they thought. Years later Cas and Jenna come crashing back into each other's lives only Jenna has a surprise for Cas. Their story has mystery, lust, lost love and love found along with a HEA ending. If you like MC stories Ghost is a great book Daphne knows how to make you hungry for more.

I always enjoy an MC romance by Daphne Loveling and this one is a little different. The MC storyline is placed on the backburner. I was a little confused about Cas in the beginning. I wanted to tell him to grow up and stop over looking the obvious. And Jenna, that girl made me want to shake her and tell her to let Cas in, trust him, allow him to care for her snd her son. I am glad that they found the happy ending they both were looking for. I can't wait for Angel's story. Great job again!!!!!

I absolutely loved this book! It grabbed me from page one! I loved watching Jenna grow up and really find her inner strength. Cas and Jen's love story was absolutely magical! Loved loved loved it! Will definitely be reading more from this author she wrote a beautiful love story within a steamy dangerous MC world. Now Hawks story :)

I voluntarily reviewed an Advanced Reader Copy of this book. I am a big fan of Daphne's work, so I was glad to see her start a new series. This was an easy read that I completed in a single sitting. I really liked the second chance at love these two characters got. This is really more of a romantic story than an MC story however. There isn't a whole lot of MC depth to it - but there is plenty of hero with heart. If you are looking for a new book boyfriend - this one delivers! I am looking forward to the next installment - Daphne is sure to deliver.

I enjoyed reading about Ghost and Jenna. She has been gone for four years and comes back to town with her son in tow. Ghost has been dreaming of her since the day she left. Will they put the past behind and give it another try or is it too late. Will her strong will hold out or will she fall back into the arms of the man she's been missing. Great read.

MC that was a close brotherhood but the VP sister had a past with Casper of the club. Their love was undeniable and their paths crossed with more intensity than they could fathom. Their love was hot and passionate. When trouble finds Jenna she discovers she is no longer alone to fight her battles. Casper and she was destined. A great read. You can put the book down.

Love renewed is the best way to describe this story. Casper & Jenna knew each other in their youth. They meet again when Jenna returns home after losing her job. Their passion is rekindled. As things heat up btwn them so does their life around them.

Daphne Loveling always amazes me with the words she writes. These stories are so deep I feel like I really know the characters. Daphne hasnt put out a book I havent read yet. Ghost story was not what I thought it would be. It was so much better. Lords of Carnage is going to be an awesome series. Cant wait for Angels story. Thanks Daphne (my supplier) for always pulling me in, such a great author.

An outstanding MC story of brotherhood, courage, standing by family through adversity, making choices and a second chance at love. Lots of steam and chemistry. A feisty heroine showing resilience through hardship. A strong hero with determination that fights for his love. Great first book! I look forward to reading other books in this series.

ARC: I received this book from the author and this is my honest review: I defiantly like a good HEA and this one doesn't disappoint. I'm usually not a fan of MC books but this one was really good. It had a great story line and fantastic characters. It's filled with so many emotions and defiantly a must read and recommend.

I was hooked from beginning of the book. I can't wait to read more books by Loveling. I will recommend this book and author.

Great MC read. It was supposed to stay a secret, a one night stand, but secrets have their way of getting out. Jenna tried to get out of town and leave the MC life behind but it wouldn’t let her go, can Ghost protect her? Fast paced read with plenty of suspense and drama. I really liked it!

would have liked more background on the mc and the brothers. liked cas a lot; big heart. all in all an enjoyable read

Wow definitely an amazing mc romance. I don't normally read books like Ghost but I wanted to give it a try. I was pleasantly surprised with how well the storyline flowed. The characters were awesome . I would definitely recommend this book. Don't miss out. I voluntarily read this book.

I love Daphne's writing and especially her MC books. The earlier Stone Kings series is a great example of that. With that said I can see that this is going to be another excellent MC series with this awesome start.

A good story overall. I wish authors would stop having their female characters hide children from the father for their own reasons that have nothing to do woth safety. It should be a crime. But the author did a good job not allowing it to be a huge part of the story.

This is the perfect romance for me! Fabulous, hunky hero and strong heroine, both with flaws. Hot scenes, angst, twisting plot, well rounded (e.g. not too short or too long), and well written. Definitely worth it. H.e.a. without a cliffhanger. Not a typical mc. ..when...

I chose this rating because this was a really great book. The characters were very interesting. They were also loyal to each other. This was a really great read. I recommend this book to all romance readers.

I liked the writing, it flowed well. The storyline was just okay to me. Felt like things were skimmed over. Could've gotten more in depth on the father and his betrayal, which was interesting, and way less about the h and all her life mistakes.
