After watching the documentary "Forks Over Knives" we changed our eating habits. We needed to find recipes our whole family would enjoy and with young children (ages 7 and twins 5) would not take too long to prepare. The recipes are easy to follow and our kids have liked everything (so far!). There is a lot of great information and helpful tips as well. I wish there were pictures...but other than that, this was a great purchase! A+ :)

I have enjoyed using Dr. and Mrs. McDougall's cookbook. The recipes are easy and quick as described. Even though I have done next to no cooking previously, the recipes are easy to follow. You shouldn't be disappointed if you're looking for a guide to better health and tasty meals and snacks.

This cookbook makes the McDougel plan easier with tasty recipes and many helpful hints on the side. I bought this to supplement the other McDougel books and it really helped me stay on track. Even my husband enjoyed them. I would recommend this book.

I enjoy trying Mrs. McDougall's recipes. I love trying out new plant-based recipes. They come out delicious, nutritious, no-fat and quick to make. It is everything that I want from a recipe book, other than the recipe making it itself-:)

I love this cookbook. One of the problems when you start Mcdougall is what to cook. This book gives quick and easy answers to that problem. Lots of variety, cooking tips, and little health asides make this a wonderful cookbook for anyone trying to work this particular eating plan.

This book is nicely laid out and a pleasure to use. Good tasting recipes as well.

Book arrived quickly and in flawless condition. The price was excellent for the excellent product. There are a number of recipes that I use all the time now, they are easy to prepare, and there are numerous side notes to help you understand the importance of whole foods, and how to improve your health. Would buy again, 100% satisfaction with seller.

The title is very misleading. I love Dr McDougall, however, the recipes in this book are quick perse, AND sort of easy. But they are also very time consuming if you live in a small rural area, because the ingredients used in these recipes are not things midst peole have readily available, nnor can they be purchased in a small local grocery chain.

After reading a compelling book of scientific research ("The China Study" by Colin Campbell PhD), my husband and I were thoroughly convinced that minimizing dairy and meat intake could significantly reduce our chances of getting Western Diseases (cancer, heart disease, diabetes, autoimmune diseases, etc). Though we didn't have any of these problems (yet), we still saw health benefits within 6 weeks of minimizing dairy & meat so are hooked. But "The China Study" is not a HOW TO book. Thank goodness for "The McDougall Quick & Easy Cookbook." It is a superb HOW TO book that put the ideas, methods and recipes into our hands for a much easier transition to this healthy and tasty style of eating. The DVD "McDougall Made Easy" is even better for getting up to speed (though much fewer recipes than this cookbook). Now we're 8 months down the road and wouldn't dream of going back.

I stumbled upon this cookbook when I was looking at forks over knives. This follows the same plant based whole foods theory, however, the timing of most dishes is quick and easy... hence the name. This is perfect on those nights when there is little time to make a big meal. This is perfect for the cook who wants to convert to eating healthier dishes however doesn't have the time to commit to long periods of time in the kitchen.

I've known about the McDougall program for many years and have had another of their cookbooks for years and use it often. This cookbook is now a new favorite of mine. The recipes all come together quickly with (in many cases) just a few simple ingredients. Great for those nights you haven't planned anything for dinner!

This is an excellent cookbook....easy, healthy recipes and inexpensive ingredients easily obtainable....I've lost weight following these recipes and am never hungry. Losing weight was not my goal, but it's definitely a good result anyway...

I would love to see them update these recipes and I don't agree about microwave cooking. And a lot of the recipes are about opening a bunch of cans and warming up the concoction (soup/stew/chili/burrito filling). So in that sense it's practical but I would have preferred more natural/organic quick food options (like in Engine 2 Diet) and less canned stuff. Canned food doesn't have the vitality of fresh veggies and the BPA linings are a danger. But there are a few less processed recipes that I like so I will hang onto it. I think there are more modern vegan recipes with better nutrition and fewer canned goods.

These recipes are quick and easy...and delicious! Money very well spent! It is an investment bringing in all of the new ingredients but I will use them throughout my life. This isn't a fad but a delicious lifestyle.

I wanted quick and easy plant based recipes and this is just that. However, a lot of recipes direct you to open cans and use frozen vegetables. I think the tastes are pretty much that - canned and frozen. I know this cookbook's intent is to make recipes simple. If you are willing to put in just a little more time or experiment just a bit more there are other books out there to help you do that.
